Hey, Romney, Get Some…

I couldn’t believe my ears when I heard Mitt Romney ‘repudiate’ a Super PAC message that hadn’t even been produced yet. It was a jolt of deja vu, harkening back to the bleak political tapestry created by the entrenched Republican beltway establishment. We’ve seen this entire story played out time after time, where the supposed champions of constitutional governance have been rolled over by the DeMarxists, simply because the agents of freedom have utterly failed to stand for the very principles they espouse.

John McCain’s candidacy was a joke to anyone who followed politics closely. What I saw in John McCain was the reincarnation of the hapless Bob Dole  ‘good old boy’ presidential run. This ‘next-in-line’ mentality of the beltway establishment has utterly failed the Republican Party and the American people. Had it not been for the introduction of Sarah Palin to the national political scene, McCain would have suffered one of the greatest defeats in party history.

Sarah has also experienced some of the worst  savaging of any political figure in living memory. The unintended consequence of which has been that she has become one of the most potent weapons against the depredations of the left that the patriot movement has. No single political figure in America today can generate the excitement that Sarah Palin can. She is a spear aimed straight at the heart of socio-communism in this country. That’s why they still savage her at every opportunity. They fear her every bit as much as they fear the spectacular rise of the Patriot Movement.

The left has always depended on the politics of personal destruction. The bottom line here is that the country is ready, far more than ready, for conservative governance. We have the momentum, we’ve the principles and the right on our side. My question here is ‘does Mitt Romney?’ Romney and his Super PACs had no problem whatsoever savaging each of his conservative Republican opponents in turn. So much so, that it led some of us to wonder whose side Romney was really on.

I wrote that he was going to have to work very hard to band-aid, in order to save the so-called Reagan coalition which his attacks had splintered. He’s not going to defeat Obama with his advisers feeding him, and the nation, with milquetoast platitudes. He has to attack Obama for what he is… a totally incompetent Marxist hack.

There’s a lot of concern out here about Romney’s upcoming vice-presidential pick. The rumble among the establishment types is that Romney will pick Ohio Senator Rob Portman. He’s been called the GOP’s most boring ‘white guy’. Now, I’m not here to run down Portman. He is a conservative Republican. But he will not excite the base. Nationally, he’s a virtual unknown. We do not need another vanilla candidate in an election cycle that promises to be a real gunfight.

Romney had better be prepared for that gunfight, and he’s not going to do it by ‘repudiating’ attacks against the most vicious political infighter in American politics. Romney, get some… you know… grow a pair, get some testicular fortitude. And while you’re at it, fire your McCain advisers.

The Political Circus Continues.

John McCain surfaced long enough to throw a few more harpoons at the Republican Conservatives with his endorsement of Mitch McConnell and the so-called ‘gang of six’. John has had experience with gangs, remember? It’s easy to see that McCain is as wrong-headed on this as he is on illegals.

His mantra in an interview he did on Sean Hannity’s radio program was “We don’t have the votes, we don’t have the votes”. Please, John… you’re really peeing on the parade. Be like the ‘Old Soldier’ and ‘just fade away’.

In fact, Republicans and a few Democrat allies in the Senate came within three Democrat votes of passing the bill. With the economy in shambles it should be possible to turn some of the Democrat Senators that are facing re-election… instead of having our efforts scattered all over hell n’ gone with self-seeking RINO politicians showboating with harebrained schemes, which only work to further the shadow of Marxist domination over this country.

All I know is that my state, my county, my city and my friends are hurting. I don’t know of one person or family who has not been impacted by the wildly irresponsible spending gorge that Obama’s government has orchestrated. People go around with worried expressions. They aren’t spending any more money than they absolutely have to. They plan their trips, even around town, to use the least amount of fuel possible.

People are hoarding food… this isn’t like the millennium. People see what’s going on or, more precisely, what isn’t going on in this country, and they are very worried and are being even more conservative about the way they lead their day to day lives.

The word out here is ‘no more taxesno debt increase‘.
For us, 2012 just can’t come fast enough.

The Republican Squeeze: “The Debt Ceiling, Can We Fool Them Again?”

I sincerely hope that’s not what’s going on, but hope is a thin thread on which to hang the survival of our representative republican form of government. Uh, to those brain-lesioned ‘progressives’ out there… we do not, as the Lame Stream Press is so fond of stating, live in a democracy. True democracies are nut houses… a little like the current administration. But then, the DeMarxist party has been a squirrel cage for a long time.

It took a national malaise, coupled by an almost historical disregard of facts by adults in this nation who should have known better, to bring us to this pass in which our nation at present finds itself.

With regard to the issue of the debt ceiling. I’m of the firm belief that this is where we have to make our stand. Either this leadership, this Republican Congress, recognizes that we simply cannot do it, we can’t spend more!, or else…

Boehner’s bold statement saying that we won’t allow one dollar in spending without a dollar in spending cuts… What!? Uh, John. Don’t you think that’s a little ‘harsh’? After all, we’re only in the hole by 14 or 15 trillion dollars. Good gravy! What the hell does it take to get through to these knotheads?

And now… wait until you hear this… Mitch McConnell, arch RINO, is calling for la grande accorde. “Why, it’s time for both sides to come together in the ‘great deal’.” Why do I sense McCain in this too… Or maybe he’s too busy pushing illegal alien amnesty.

I don’t know about you, but somehow I don’t see such a liaison as a happy ending for us… the American patriot, citizen and taxpayer. I, for one, am sick to death of their stupid games. One can only assume they haven’t gotten the message.

We get a wide variety of comments here, some from quite surprising sources. I’m not in the poll or prediction business, but we do get a pretty good feel for the mood of the country on issues. I’m here to tell you that nothing has changed. The anger is still boiling just below the surface… and the undeniable truth is in front of each and every citizen’s nose every time they have to buy gas or go to the grocery store. Every time I see a one dollar and sixty cent item selling for close to four dollars, I think of who and what is responsible… and I’m not alone.

This 2012 election is ours to lose. What really scares me is that the Republicans are plenty stupid enough to lose it for us.

Republicans Fail In Budget Wars… No Leadership, No Courage.

If that sounds harsh then perhaps the Republican leadership should look really closely at themselves and ask themselves just exactly who they’re working for, because right now, quite frankly, they’re not looking all that hot.

Sixty billion is the figure being cast about as the spending reductions for this budget. Another thirty billion was proposed but was not taken up by Republicans, for some unknown reason. I’ve really been concerned about what I perceive to be a demarcation in the party between the ‘old’ party members and the new conservatives.

As a quick for instance… look at good old reliable John McCain… now that he’s won re-election for another six years, we the American people, and especially his constituents, can collectively go to hell as he reverts to type. He nearly got whiplash running to kiss Barack Obama’s butt. Then he has the nerve to tell us that he ‘thinks he can work’ with Obama.

We seem to remember John working with ‘others’. They called it the gang of fourteen… they called it the McCain-Feingold assault on the First Amendment… they called it the Illegal Amnesty Act. Remember? I sure do. John hasn’t wasted any time either. He’s got his pet amnesty act out again and he’s dusting it off.

John’s just one guy, but he’s not alone. I’ve said this before… the times are past where Conservatives can afford to be burdened with wishy-washy moderate ‘Republicans’ who run into accommodation mode at the very first sign of a fight.

Sixty billion? A hundred billion? That’s a joke, right? We’re upside down 1.7 trillion dollars this year alone, and we’re dabbling with a hundred billion in ‘proposed’ cuts! We’re sick of the timidity and the outright cowardice shown by the Repubic leadership. If we get any more disappointed, that whole mess may be out of a job. So far, the only ones who have remained faithful to the mandate of the voters are the Patriot Tea Party freshmen. That says worlds about the party leadership.

It’s a little like what just occurred on the House floor. We thought we were sending tiger sharks in there to shred the unbelievably irresponsible spending of this government. Instead, we get these timid little mice nibbling away at the fringes of that megalithic monstrosity, the house that Obama built.

I’m afraid there are going to need to be more serious changes in the Republican Party if we are to succeed in saving the country. 2012 is going to be another watershed… but what will be shed will be the timid, the weak, the lame and the lazy.
We warned them.

The Smell Of Freedom Is In The Air.

Hey, folks! Don’t get big heads over this, but the responses the Tea Party groups and Patriot organizations have been getting from you has them growing by leaps and bounds. The results we’ve been having, getting the Conservative message out in our own blocks, streets, cities and towns, has been nothing less than spectacular.

People who have never before in their lives been politically active are joining in some numbers. Disaffected, burnt out or just plain disgusted Democrats are coming into our movement in increasing numbers. The all important independents are here in strength… these folks are tending toward strong Conservatism. And finally, the Conservatives themselves, the ones who were so disgusted that they just picked up their marbles and went home and stayed home clear through the 2008 presidential race, virtually ensuring an Obama victory, are back.

As ugly and painful as these two years have been, there’s no way the country would have rebelled against John McCain as they have against Barack Hussein Obama’s Marxist power grab. Oh, there would have been plenty of dissent to McCain, but nothing even approaching the tidal wave of voter retribution that has been heating to a slow boil since 2008.

Americans are such a rare breed. The left and other fringe nut cakes really don’t understand what a great and special place this is, this America. It exists nowhere else on Earth and nothing like it has ever been seen before.

The Conservative rebellion is here. I’m proud of my fellow Americans. For a very long time, I would go about my business mumbling, “How long are we going to take this crap?” and “When are we going to stand up and fight?” Well, we’re not taking it any more, and the time is now.
The smell of freedom is here and it’s really exciting.

Establishment Republicans, Legends In Their Own Minds.

These are the supposed movers and shakers in the party… the ones who have been sitting out in the districts and picking typical party candidates, those who will follow the party establishment line and not question anything too carefully. That this approach to local, district and state party policy, with regard to candidate recruitment, has not proven very successful is obvious.

Bernanke: "Having another of your visions, Hank?"

The Republican Party was in catastrophic disarray when Barack Hussein Obama defeated John McCain. After President Bush caved in to hysterical pressure and signed on to TARP, forever damning himself in the eyes of Conservatives, we watched as Obama and his DeMarxist government brought us perhaps the most unpopular legislation in history by cheating, lying, destroying the rule of law and shredding the Constitution.

Then they doubled down on TARP with a ‘stimulus’ bill which did nothing at all to jump start the economy or private sector job growth. Citizens watched as billions upon billions of dollars went to pay Obama’s political debts to the the public service sector and teachers’ unions. We watched as cosmetic program after program crashed in upon itself in what has become a magnificent dirge of failure.

I’ve written about the people, the American people, not being quite like anybody else in the world. There is just something about us that is different. We rise up under the threat of socialist domination while the effete populations of Europe embrace socialism like a babe to its mother’s breast.

The Tea Party and the Conservative Patriot groups have drawn a line in the sand. We’ve knocked off several candidates in various states and districts that have been the darlings of the Republican establishment. There is a message out here for Republicans.

We, the American Patriot movement, are here. We’re not going away and we won’t be co-opted either. We’re watching the National Republican Senatorial Committee sneaking around in Alaska, trying to change vote totals and pull a Barney Frank on our own elected candidate because he wasn’t the one they favored.

It’s stuff like this which will result in a head-to-head confrontation between the RNC and the Patriots. We’ll take control of the party if we have to, but it would much better if the establishment would give over their business-as-usual games and actually work for the country and the Constitution for once.

Conservative Patriots Face Off With Old Guard Republicans.

It’s a fact that no power on earth can take down the United States of America. It’s equally true that a cabal of unprincipled, greedy and dishonest politicians have come frighteningly close to destroying this greatest of all beacons of truth and freedom. There is in us that which seeks truth and the freedom of mind, body and soul, which is the premise of being Americans.

We have seen the light of freedom dulled by the relentless assaults of those from the political left, who are disciples of a pernicious socio-political cult philosophy which has destroyed national economies around the world wherever it has been employed. Aside from the economic chaos and inevitable starvation which follows, over one hundred million people have been murdered as a result of communist revolutionary aggression.

Maybe the absolutely disastrous tenure of Barack Hussein Obama was a gift to America by a merciful God, who saw that America had been lied to sleep… that we had forgotten who we were. When the euphoria of the 2008 election had evaporated, the monster we had invited in wasted no time revealing itself in all its tyrannical and ideological glory.

America reacted in typical American fashion… we revolted. Call it the Tea Party or the Conservative Patriot Movement or whatever you wish, but it was a near simultaneous occurrence all across the country. It was, and has been, a peaceful revolution, but a revolution nonetheless.

The 60s Marxists leading the attempted takeover of our society had been stymied in their aim to foster communist revolution here for so long that when they gained total power with the election of Barack Obama they went berserk, looking more like feeding piranha than a governing body.

What woke us up as a country was watching the thrashing of the Constitution over the illegally passed ‘sthealth’ bill, which scarcely one Congressman had read or understood. 2,700 pages of absolutely incomprehensible legalese garbage, which seeks to control over one sixth of our entire economy.

The Tea Party movement, or Patriot movement, has been instrumental in GOP victories across the country, not always in tune with the chosen of the Republican establishment, however. The real truth is that the Republican Party has been pulled along in the wake of the Conservative tsunami, which has yet to peak and will come crashing down on the DeMarxists and the Obama administration in November.

The infamous ‘tin ear’ of the establishment Republicans, refusing to listen to the Conservative base time after time, has brought us stellar presidential candidates such as Bob Dole and John McCain. Trent Lott, another establishment hero, blurted out on television that the Tea Parties were nothing to worry about… they would simply be co-opted by the establishment party when they arrived in Washington. That statement alone shows how little they understand what’s going on out here.

They have no idea of the power and energy that is concentrated out here in the national Patriot Movements. It will not end with November. Our scrutiny will only increase as we make darn sure that the people we send to Washington are doing the jobs we sent them to do.
November simply marks the beginning of the next battle, the campaign to retire Barack Obama.

More Primary Portent.

With the notable exception of John McCain, the national Patriot movement has had significant results backing strong Constitutional Conservatives. Rinos continue to pay the price again, with that one notable exception.

To our Arizona friends. I hope you chose wisely. I can’t help thinking that people like Lindsey Graham and John McCain will revert to type. More than willing to sell out his principles, McCain is perfectly capable of secret deals with the DeMarxists, as is Graham. We have no choice but to watch them like hawks and force them to behave.

Hey! Anybody out there want to lay any bets on how long it’s going to take our boy John to revert to type? I say one week. But he has talked a hell of a tough game on the border and illegals, since he had his border epiphany.

Dick Morris is openly calling for both the House and the Senate to change hands in an historic repudiation of the leftward movement of our government. Yes, the people do have a voice in our system and they are making their voices heard in historic numbers.

The grim statistics that are coming out of the economy pretty much say it all. Record mortgage filings, the lowest real estate sales in fifteen years. We lost 500,000 jobs last month, companies are afraid to hire and investment is virtually frozen.

All political prognosticators are calling for a Republican sweep of the House. I think that’s great, and I say let’s take the damned Senate too.
While we’re doing that, let’s pray to God for the wisdom to do this right.

McCain – Will They Fall For Him Again?

Arizona has proven itself to be a pretty sane place. I hope that holds true through the primary election for the Senate race between JD Hayworth and John McCain.

I’d like to hope that Arizona would have better sense than to fall for McCain’s chameleon-like transformation into a closed borders, anti-illegal alien guy. Or, that along with people like the ever-detestable Lindsey Graham, he was perfectly willing to sell the American people down the road with his carbon tax scheme.

It cost twenty million dollars of McCain money to get the Senator this far. He did his best to destroy JD Hayworth with Arizona voters. What was disappointing was the support that McCain got from the Old Guard Republican Party back in the beltway. They were the same ones who backed McCain for President. McCain could prove to be a very negative factor in the US Senate. He simply cannot be trusted not to immediately revert to type once re-elected. Millions of Patriots have made it abundantly clear that we do not want business as usual from our elected representatives.

Political prognosticators from both ends of the spectrum are calling for what may be a political repudiation of historical proportions, with estimates north of fifty seats that could be lost by the DeMarxists in November. Further, there are some who are now openly speculating on the real possibility that the Senate could be lost to the Conservative Republican revolution as well.

McCain just cannot be trusted. He’s proven too many times that he’s willing to throw party and principles away. From the Gang of Fourteen to his willingness to sell us out on immigration… proof that he cannot be trusted is out there in abundance.

If you live in Arizona, please get to the polls and vote today. Gather your friends and family and get them to the polls.

Independents Show Disgust With Obama And Demarxists.

How times have changed. Fifty six percent of voters, identifying themselves as independents, voted to put Barack Hussein Obama in the Presidency. Whether caught up in the glitz and glitter of a campaign choreographed like a Radio City music hall performance, or the historical moment of voting for a black man for President… some certainly voting for Obama thereby willing away the ghosts of slavery past and the much flacked, (at least by the statist press) so-called white guilt.

Other independents who would normally tend towards voting on the right, disgusted by the dismal performance of George Bush and the Republicans, joined the exodus of many Republicans and self-identified conservatives. Many Republicans and conservatives were lukewarm about the candidacy of John McCain, for all the reasons I, and many writers, have stated. Conservatives and Republicans seem to have longer memories than their DeMarxist counterparts, and we’re not nearly as fast to forgive and forget. John McCain was a deeply flawed Presidential candidate, just as he is a deeply flawed Senator… at least from a conservative point of view… and we sure as heck haven’t forgotten about him.

Barack Obama entered office destroying an already destabilized economy. Independents tend to be slightly right-of-center, and as the months of the Obama regime played out the shine started coming off of the independents’ expectations that Obama would indeed be a ‘post racial’ uniter, bringing down barriers between Americans and ushering in an era of prosperity. At least, that’s what you believed if you listened to his repetitive messages. Independents, by July 2010, have come to realize just how badly they’d been snookered.

They’re not likely to forgive or forget either, and Obama’s dismal polling among independents does not bode well for Obama or his Marxist cabal. Thirty eight percent, as opposed to the huge percentile advantage he once held. An eighteen point drop is enough to make all but the most secure DeMarxists extremely nervous. Despite all the diversions and political sideshows, they know that independents quite often swing elections.

As November rapidly approaches, the fact that the growing power of the Patriot Movement, with it’s clear conservative message, is attracting large numbers of independents and disillusioned Democrat voters is looming large. Independents and Republicans are understandably still very skeptical of the Republican hierarchy, who have a bare four months to articulate a message that will convince us that they have the bare-knuckle guts and ability to provide the leadership we’re looking for.

As Obama continues his radical extremist march to forever destroy this country as we understand it, his numbers and policies continue to unravel. The greatest danger we face now is that as the DeMarxists feel the end coming, they will be more and more desperate to complete their agenda.

Republicans Had Best Have A Compelling Message.

Despite the DeMarxists headlong rush to oblivion in November, we cannot count on our Republican leadership not to blow it. They need to show something that has been sadly missing thus far, in my opinion… leadership.

To date, they’ve failed in the first big test of whether they have the intestinal fortitude to be the majority in 2011. Elena Kagan should have been stonewalled out the gate. She has zero qualification for the Supreme Court. She’s an Obama creation. A political hack. A statist mouthpiece.

Did the Republican leadership stand as one and say ‘hell no’? Of course not. They went immediately into accommodation mode, giving Kagan all the wiggle room she needed to play cutesy games and not give one substantive answer to any of the really weak-kneed, almost pandering, questions by the committee. They’ve displayed themselves as indecisive and fragmented, when they should show the American Patriots, whose favor they curry, that they can stand for what we believe in.

Conservative opinion was unmistakeably against Elena Kagan’s appointment. We told the leadership from the outset that we wanted her appointment filibustered. There were comments such as ‘Obama deserves his appointments’. Flashback to Lindsey (I’ll go which ever way the wind blows) Gramnesty… and the Sotomayor hearings. As I recall, the nomination proceedings were scarcely under way and Graham was telling her, in front of the open hearing, that she ‘is going to be confirmed’. That’s enough to make a skunk gag. Sotomayor is far to left of anyone on the Court, and Kagan is to the left of her.

Somehow, the Republicans have gotten the idea that if we don’t make nice with the DeMarxist nominees, we can’t get our own through when the time comes. In the Marine Corps we’d call it ‘cowardice in the face of the enemy’. In the case of the so-called Republican leadership, it’s ‘folding before the enemy is engaged’.

I see that John McCain has come to the party late… a little like his new-found religion on illegal amnesty and border security. The point is that if the Republicans can’t show leadership on this, can we trust them to lead? We still remember, all too well, the pathetic Republican performance of the Bush years. It’s one of the reasons incumbents have been dropping like flies. There will be more!

You cannot expect us to get behind an incoherent and fragmented message. We’ve been there and done that. There’s too much at risk this time. We have to stop and derail this DeMarxist rush to tyranny at any cost, and we have to do it now! Here is a golden opportunity for the Republicans to articulate a clear, simple message. We have to return to the Reagan model. The conservative message resonates every time that it’s clearly defined… and every time it’s followed, it’s a success.

In Obama’s World Failure Pays.

I don’t think that by now there is any doubt in anyone’s mind that Obama has the most radical government in United States history. From his cabinet right on through the administration, Obama has assembled a version of himself. Like himself, they are ideologically in lockstep with Saul Alinsky, which is to say Karl Marx.

Obama lecturing Chicago students on Alinsky's ideas.

The crew that was swept into power with Barack Hussein Obama are largely academic theorists and have not themselves run anything other than a classroom. Then there were the party loyalists drafted to support their boss, such as Janet Napolitano. Others are political climbers and opportunists. They have only one real thing in common; a slavish faith that, given enough time and money, the elsewhere failed Socio-Marxist doctrines they wish to impose on us will transport us all to a centrally planned and administered socialist utopia. They are so focused on this that they have failed entirely in reading the mood of the nation.

The DeMarxists know that this is their last hoorah, too. Don’t listen to what they say, watch what they do. Right now, every DeMarxist member of Congress is distancing himself or herself from Obama and his increasingly disjointed pitches for his agenda. Many of these self-same politicians are trying as much as possible to distance themselves from their own votes in Congress. Sort of like John McCain getting serious about the borders just in time for elections. It may be way too late for most of these people this time around. We’re counting votes out here and we’re remembering who voted for what.

For a while, politicians were able to buy time to hide behind, for making deals on votes that they knew would be unpopular with their constituents. It is an old and dishonorable practice that has been set on its head by the internet and the new media. There were many years where politicians in Washington were pretty much bullet proof. Now they are being called to account and many of us are saying it’s about time!

These politicians, their regulators and agencies have been running roughshod through our lives and we the American citizens are going to stop it. This is the face of the new Conservative revolution. We have an administration which is a failure, coupled to a failed one term Presidency for Barack Obama and a DeMarxist majority in Congress which is going to get its clock cleaned.

Tea Party Conservatives = Republican Party… Where’s The Match?

I’d hoped we would see a little less of the ‘us and them’ mentality as we moved closer to the election cycle. I’ve underestimated the enmity that some ‘Tea Baggers’ and Patriots have for some of who they see as the Republican old guard and an echo of the Bush extravagance years.

Washington, April 15, 2010

It has translated to a take-no-nonsense attitude from the beginning by the Patriot movement. If you’re Conservative and you stand for God, country and family, you’ll find a very big ‘blanket’ out there. Americans have felt like they have been lied to and deceived by our government and our politicians. It’s like having a close relative and then finding out he’s ripping you off, it doesn’t take very long for the shock to turn into anger, and this government has been massively gorging itself since the day Obama took the office. That’s a lot of rip-off.

See, what happened was that the American People got it. They shouldn’t have, they were supposed to be too stupid and self absorbed. But the message that was getting out was coming through Conservative talk radio and the Conservative blogosphere, not from the LSM (lame stream media) that had finally gone so far left as to be indistinguishable from the DeMarxist masters at whose feet they wish to lie.

The Tea Party was as surprisingly uniform as it was almost instantaneous. The whole movement sprang into being in less than a month, it has been growing by leaps and bounds and hasn’t looked back once. A nationwide poll of citizens who associate themselves with the various patriot groups would be in the millions.

Republicans have to bear in mind that there’s still a good deal of skepticism and mistrust out there. The Conservative willingness to trust has been strained to the max by a Republican party that was welded to its roots in the past and failed, in fact, to grasp the strength and universal appeal of the citizen groups. Now we have to find a way to welcome the New Conservative Republican Party.

The Republican leadership has got to get the word that much of the Patriot Movement is a no Rino zone. This is borne out by the grass roots backing of Conservatives in local and state races all over the nation. A lot of grassroots people are bent behind the support thrown at John McCain, who they rightfully see as a Rino of the the first rank. Respect his service we do. His politics stink. Supporting McCain may cost a portion of patriot support.

Romney has been off in a spin cycle after his foolish apparent attempt to separate his ill-founded Massachusetts single payer health care from the Obamacare bill and then defending his reasons for it. Further, listening to some of the other things Romney has said and some of the other supposed Republican leaders, its sounding like they’d like to make accommodations on certain issues. They should be fairly warned… the Patriots and Republicans out here are not in the mood to be afflicted with more Rino divisiveness and legislative self-interest.

The Republican party has some proving to do. We’re looking for Conservative leadership. If the party establishment doesn’t get the Conservative message they’ll be left behind.

Searchlight Tea Party, Thousands Hear Palin. CNN: ‘Dozens Of People’

What a pathetic joke for a news organization… CNN has plumbed the depths of falsification again by telling viewers throughout the day, Saturday, March 27th, that there were ‘dozens’ of people, maybe hundreds at the Searchlight, Nevada Tea Party rally. It can only be described as a pathetic attempt at misinformation. They must have the pizza guy doing news editorial programming, which shouldn’t really surprise anyone given their perpetual low market ratings… it’s embarrassing to get beat by MSNBC.

The Tea Party Express Bus, Searchlight, Nevada.

If you are in the business of news prevarication, you could at least be a bit creative about it. But then that would take talent and that appears to be something that there is a severe dearth of at CNN. That could be the reason that they hired RedState’s Erick Erickson… goodness knows their stable could use the help.

The latest figures I have on the rally held in Senator ‘Dingy’ Harry Reid’s backyard at Searchlight, Nevada, is that right around 20,000 people showed up to hear keynote speaker Sarah Palin. Palin, as usual, is taking massive amounts of abuse from the left. That’s to be expected and is a direct gauge of the fear they have for her. Obama can’t get more than a few thousand people to his bought-and-paid-for teleprompter extravaganzas. Sarah Palin gets more than that to a book signing.

Sarah Palin In Searchlight, Nevada.

Since announcing her support for John McCain, Sarah has taken an awful lot of heat from our side as well. I’ve made no secret of my dislike for John McCain. He comes with more baggage than the cargo hold of a 747. Sarah Palin cannot be unaware of his liabilities, both to the State of Arizona and her own future political aspirations. For myself, JD Hayworth is a far better choice. He is as solid a conservative as John McCain is a RINO, a Conservative when it suits his purpose, and is many times injurious to his party and the country.

He is just plain wrong-headed on some critical issues, especially wrong on interrogation and amnesty for illegals. Sarah Palin is exhibiting loyalty to the man who launched her into national political prominence. Had she not, I would have had questions about her integrity. I have no doubt she would have made it on her own but it may have taken her several more years, and the way things look the country needs her now.

I believe that many times things happen for a reason. I believe that the Sarah Palin phenomenon is one of those times. So to the giants of the now largely marginal left wing media… keep it up. You’re the best promotional advertising we can get.

Lindsey Gr-Amnesty, RINO Extraordinaire.

I wish someone would tell me why this character should have a single Republican member of Congress listen to him, much less be influenced by a single word emanating from his smarmy mouth. In his latest essay in treacherous gum beating he’s let it be known that he’ll play deal maker on Guantanamo Bay.

Lindsey Graham

On Sunday, this cretin actually had the chutzpah to tell the White House that he would work to convince Republicans to ‘go along with closing Guantanamo Bay’, if the President reverses his intention of trying high-profile terrorists on continental U.S. soil.

Graham, ever anxious to ingratiate himself with the administration and bolster his RINO credentials, came in a little late on this one though, since public rage over the proposed trials has all but forced Obama to go back to Guantanamo and military tribunals… aside from the fact that in all likelihood he would be unable to garner support from the Republican membership, other than perhaps a few like-minded RINOs.

Lindsey Graham is the poster child for everything that is anathema to Conservative Republicans and most Independents as well. With an oily, slithering ‘let’s make a deal’ attitude with very little principled moral compass behind him, Graham has made a career thumbing his nose at his Conservative brethren. Time after time ingratiating himself with liberals and advancing their agenda in the face of opposition from his ‘own’ party, continually aligning himself with other liberal (moderate) elements in the Republican party and using the ‘mantle’ of Republican for political cover. So much so that he has been censured by the Conservative-loyal Republican party in his own home state, “for many of the positions he has taken that do not represent the people of South Carolina”.

Among the more spectacular buffoonery Graham has pulled was to align himself with the treasonous John (Swiftboat) Kerry, to push for the economy and back-breaking Cap and Trade legislation so sought after by the leftist Obama administration. Graham is another one who has bought into the fakery and faux secular religion of global warming / climate change.

Graham is also remembered for memberships in both the gang of ten and the gang of fourteen with that great thumb-in-the-eye RINO John McCain, thwarting the aims of their own party leadership time after time and giving victory to opponents. Does anybody remember Graham supporting TARP? I do. His pro illegal alien stance is also another in his long list of perfidy. The party can do nothing finer than to isolate this snake oil vendor, and all like him, until they can be voted out of office.

The vote on health care in the House is just around the corner. It’s time to make our displeasure with the authoritarian aims of the White House and the Democrat House felt in no uncertain terms again. It seems like this last year has been a progression from one desperate struggle to another and it isn’t over yet. Not by a long shot. Stand up and be heard.

A Tale Of Two Republican Parties.

On one side we have the party Conservatives. On the other we have the RINOs. You’ll notice there is no middle category here. I think that all but the densest, tunnel-visioned and hide-bound ‘old guard’ Republicans have figured out that the Patriot Movement (what they and the lame-stream press love to call ‘the Tea Baggers’) is no flash in the pan, and has just grown stronger despite the worst the leftist press and the Democrat spin machine (and some Republicans) could do to denigrate it and drive wedges into it. Their breathless characterization of a third party fell flatter than last week’s beltway champagne.

It is, by any measure, the new voice of the Republican party and, in point of fact, is not being controlled by the Party but is pulling the party along behind it. The new Conservative Republican party has a bright future, with a highly motivated and self-aware membership made up of solid conservative patriots who are determined that the principles of freedom that make this country great will be upheld.

President Reagan unknowingly describes the aims of the Patriot Movement:

We have come very close to losing our country. We might yet. The forces of freedom have been marshaled to stop the march to totalitarianism none too soon. We have some really promising rising stars in the party. Wholesome, grounded Conservatives like Wisconsin’s Paul Ryan, who single-handedly carved President Obama’s arguments to shreds at the health care summit. We have Michael Pence, John Boehner, Eric Cantor, Michelle Bachmann and others.

Then we have the RINOs. There is really no room for these people in our party going forward, their names are familiar to us all and the damage they have caused well known. Several are facing primary challenges as we speak, others will retire rather than face the just retribution of their constituents. Those who are not up for election this cycle such as Lindsey Graham (amnesty, green jobs, carbon tax) will be voted out next time around. John McCain faces a strong challenge in Arizona and none to soon. After all the damaging and totally wrong-headed stuff he has signed off on you’d think he’d learn. Now he’s out to try and regulate the vitamin and food supplement industry so that the government can destroy more private business. Maine’s Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins are two more that need to go.

The Democrat party is not the party of my grandparents, or my parents for that matter. It is a party of committed ideologues run by Leftists, Progressives, Marxists, Communists (name your poison), whose only goal is to fundamentally change this country into that of a socio-Marxist state. There are some principled people left in the party, albeit isolated and powerless. The very nature of the party mission does not permit dissent nor foster independent thinking or opinions. Those who do not march in lockstep with the leadership are treated as outcasts, in some instances given the treatment that resulted in Senator Joseph Lieberman leaving the party.

This is the face of the enemy. We have to win. There is no option.
This is why a new, vital Conservative Republican party is being forged.

Obama, What’s Next?

Obama is like a twelve year old whose skateboard and video game privileges have been taken away. His petulant attitude was in full bloom at the health care summit this week.

Eric Cantor and John Boehner, along with John McCain and other Republicans, made the Democrats look pretty silly at times. Every Democrat that spoke had to come out with the obligatory sad health care sob story, no matter how improbable. Rep. Louise Slaughter (D) NY told how one of her constituents had to wear her dead sister’s false teeth. I guess these Democrats have got to be collectively tone deaf, because they sure don’t hear themselves the way we hear them.

Conversely, I was totally impressed with Minority Leader John Boehner and the Republicans, their grasp of the bill and the solid refutations that they presented to President Obama, despite being held to a mere 110 minutes as opposed to a full 222 minutes for Obama and his Democrats, with the bulk of the time being taken up by President Obama continually interrupting Republicans when he didn’t like what he was being told, which was most of the time. His facade of bi-partisanship went out with his opening statement.

Obama closed the meeting with the admonition that he would hope to hear from Republicans within weeks, four or uhh, maybe six weeks. President Obama, don’t hold your breath. The Republicans stood their ground and did themselves proud. The longer this bill hangs around, the deader it looks and despite (The House Madam) Nancy Pelosi’s statement saying we would have a bill regardless, it’s looking more like the out-and-out voter rebellion has had its toll most especially on the so-called Blue Dog Democrats.

Look for the illegal immigration issue to lift its scaly snout again soon. The illegals and their advocate groups, such as the extremely radical La Raza, are planning a mass march on Washington.
This time they may find that they are met by a very large contingent of patriots.

Humbug – Obama Dog And Pony Phony.

Humbug is quaint Americana for something false, phony or underhanded.
President Obama was his usual arrogant self as he demonstrated bi-partisanship to the seventeen Congressional Republicans who attended his health care extravaganza.

Repeatedly interrupting Republican speakers and refuting factual representations made to him, the President’s idea of bi-partisanship comprised of one hundred and nineteen minutes of Obama-dominated campaign mode lecturing. The Washington Times stated he looked very professorial… a title he never held.

Republicans were held to a mere one hundred and ten minutes while the twenty one Democrats attending the meeting were allowed one hundred and fourteen minutes, during which they dredged up story after story of constituents medical woes in support of their boss, some of which stretched the imaginations of those present. It was the usual Democrat hysteria-inducing sob-story tactic we’ve all heard so many times before. You’d think they’d wise up to the fact that we’re on to it.

For the Republicans’ part they pretty much stuck to what they said they’d do, which was to stipulate that the entire piece of legislation should be scrapped and started over from scratch.

Eric Cantor with the 2,400 page Senate Health Care Bill.

Obama was also offended at Representative Eric Cantor (R) Virginia, for bringing the two thousand four hundred page health care bill to the meeting and prominently displaying the bill in front of him as he spoke. The President interrupted Republican speakers, refuting statements and giving somewhat unlikely anecdotes. At one point Obama got into a peeing match with Senator John McCain, where he petulantly quipped “We’re not campaigning here John”.

All in all, the Democrats not only didn’t cover themselves with glory, they looked pretty silly. The Democrats are trumpeting the use of the reconciliation process, since President Obama has said he wants an answer from the Republicans within six weeks, presumably giving Democrats enough time to see if they can come up with the requisite votes.

That’s not at all a done deal either, for all the Democrat bloviating.
Eric Cantor, the Minority House Whip, and his team have come up with some pretty solid calculations showing that the House Madame may only be able to come up with about 205 of the 217 votes she needs.
From your lips to God’s ears, Eric.

Supremes Get One Right: Gut McCain Feingold.

After one of the WORST activist based decisions in history, that of April 2, 2007, which gave the EPA the power to treat auto CO2 emissions as an environmental issue, the Supreme Court seems to have finally put its robes on straight and actually READ the Constitution they are sworn to abide by. The court struck down major portions of the bill, especially those relating to the government’s regulation of free speech.

Senator John McCain’s support for this widely unpopular bill turned many Conservative and Independent voters against him, myself among them. That, and his support for amnesty among other “across the aisle” excursions, probably made him unelectable to anyone but party insiders. Frankly, I voted for him only as a vote against Barack Obama.

One hopes that the Supremes would continue their study of the Constitution for what it actually says and not in support of activist goals. It should be noted that President Obama’s choice for the Supreme Court, Justice Sonia Sotomayor, voted against the people of this country.

Supreme Court Of The United States

A number of other things have happened that should have Conservative patriots concerned since Scott Brown overturned Barack Obama’s brown, wormy apple cart. Nancy Pelosi, looking much like she had just bitten into one of those apples, admitted that they did not have the votes for the passage of Obama /Pelosi /Reid care. That’s a good thing, that’s a very good thing.

Democrats are scrambling to come up with something that doesn’t smell of defeat and absolute retreat for their boss, while in the face of an indisputable message from the AMERICAN PEOPLE.
Obama announced that he would seek a ONE POINT NINE TRILLION DOLLAR increase in the debt ceiling. I’d say “WHAT?!!!” But I used that yesterday. In does point to the incredible disconnect between mainstream America and the ideologically-driven Democrat government, that in the face of a clear message to the contrary the administration would continue down this politically suicidal path.

President Obama also announced the government takeover of the school loan program, another ONE HUNDRED AND THREE BILLION DOLLAR government takeover.
There were another 36,000 jobs lost last week, bringing job losses in the ‘Obama recovery’ to some 480,000 since the beginning of the Obama Presidency. Meanwhile, the Feds are planning to give PROTECTED STATUS to 200,000 Haitians.
This begs the question, just who the heck is protecting AMERICAN CITIZENS?

Here’s a question to France and that ODIOUS blowhard in Venezuela… where are your aid convoys to Haiti? Gee, guess they must have been delayed. But then we saw the way France treated it’s colonials and how Chavez treats his citizens.

There are Conservatives lining up in challenges to the leftists all over the country and the march to defeat the attempted takeover of our country continues. Now is not a time to slack up or to rest on yesterday’s accomplishments. Now is the time for action. Action begins in your communities. Action begins with you.

Conservative Marching Order 2010.

This is it. 2010 and the MID-TERM ELECTIONS are right around the corner in political terms. We need to pay VERY close attention to everything that transpires this year and we cannot for one split second take anything for granted. There are some do’s and don’ts out there that we should keep foremost in our minds as the swelling tsunami of the American Conservative movement prepares to sweep the ENEMIES of our REPUBLIC from in front of us.

DO be active in your local Republican organizations. DO act to influence them to do the right things – the things that WIN local contests. I walked into my local Republican party headquarters last election cycle and it had all the excitement of a funeral parlor. They didn’t even have voter registration applications for their own county, but had them for a district two counties away. When I pointed out that this was just a couple more sets of hands for registrations to go through and more opportunity for them to ‘disappear’ or be mislaid in the mails the looks I got from our party representatives can only be described as NON COMPOS MENTIS. The SF Bay Area is notorious for voter shenanigans, these people just didn’t get it. My own registration had been tampered with twice in nine years.

Become activated, your enthusiasm will be infectious.
DO not allow the lame stream to gin up the old Trojan horse of a third party. THERE IS NO SUCH THING. Third parties are the product of fevered minds. It was a third party of well-intentioned but sadly misinformed  Americans that brought us BILLY JEFF CLINTON, under the third party banner of Ross Perot, splitting the Republican and Independent vote.
Ross Perot

We need to champion a revitalized CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN PARTY under the leadership of SOLID conservatives who will go bare-knuckled, toe to toe with the ENEMIES of the Republic and not give an inch. After all, is this not the model that the DeMarxists have taught us so well? When they snivel that they are being mistreated, all we have to do is to remind them of Nancy With-The-Smiling-Stapled-Lids having THE LOCKS CHANGED IN THE HOUSE CONFERENCE ROOMS, locking Republicans out completely.

I was listening to a statement by Mitch McConnell where he sounded like he was preparing to ‘go along and get along’ with the DeMarxist power structure in which he said he thought ‘we could work together to get things done’. Uh, Mitch, that’s NOT what the American people are telling you! We don’t WANT you to get along with that bunch of Maoists and if that is your intention leave now, for we will surely remove you and any other establishment Republican who acts or thinks like that as well.
Mitch McConnell

Conservatives are on the march. There are Conservative challenges all over the nation.
One thing we need to do for SURE before 2012 is to CLOSE OUR PRIMARIES. What gave us John McCain instead of a more viable candidate was Democrat voters crossing over and voting in Republican open primary elections. The Republican leadership was so inept they allowed the opposition to choose for us. How stupid is that? Though it’s obvious now that the party had McCain preordained in a backroom deal, much like when they brought up another notorious deal-maker loser, Bob Dole

.
It’s just exactly what we have to avoid this time. There are a lot of bright young Conservative leaders coming up through the ranks.
There are 435 House seats up for re-election, 36 seats in the Senate. There are 37 Gubernatorial seats up for grabs. Don’t think that the DeMarxists aren’t sweating this one out. Just ask Ben Nelson.
