Harry Reid – Fertile Imagination.

Not that our Harry has a penchant for fanciful tales, you understand… but poor Harry hasn’t had much to crow about recently. Not to worry, though… he has assured his Marxist cohorts that it’s all over for the Tea Party. That’s it, we shot our bolt and now we’re all going to go home and sing campfire songs, while gazing rapturously at pictures of the Anointed One.



Good for you, Harry! The Tea Party Patriots are properly chastised and we’ll be sure to disband forthwith. The problem, Mr. Reid, is that The American Patriot movement is not, nor will it ever be, a political party. The Tea Party, Harry, is Earth, Wind, Fire and Water… we are the distilled essence of the traditions of the Founders. We carry before us the banners of the two greatest documents ever written, the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States of America.

That’s why the DeMarxists are working so very hard to portray the Patriot Movement as being spent and politically irrelevant. Terror… We, my friends, are the terrorists, because that’s what we do… we scare them right to the core of their shriveled beings. We’re like their worst nightmare.

They can attack us, okay. They can tell lies about us and they can have the statist press dutifully vomit the regime’s published bull bleep points… all to naught. Let’s just say that we’re a moving target that they just can’t seem to focus on.

The problem is that we don’t have a head or a tail they can chop off. We have no beginning and no ending… we are the American people. And you are experiencing the opening moves of the new American revolution… a revolution which is taking place as we speak. Americans of all ages are rising up and coming forth to be counted.

Go ahead, Harry Reid… by all means convince yourself of our demise. In the meantime, the millions and millions of us out here who believe in American exceptionalism will just keep organizing your retirement. You and every one of your Marxist cabal.

Stop! No Way, No How, Go No Further… Halt!

Somehow or other, they are working as hard to panic the populace as the president himself. The ‘Tea Party freshmen’ are in revolt, and good on them for it.

The establishment herd has panicked itself so badly that some of the more congenital idiots among the Republican ‘elite’ are actually suggesting that Conservative Republicans and Patriots are helping the Benighted One by opposing the Boehner bill.



That’s pretty desperate, and I understand that some of the arm-twisting in the House by the leadership is pretty intense. There are some who are waffling or just want to compromise to get the heat off their backs. You folks, you freshman patriots, are holding the line despite all they can do. Take heart. You’re an inspiration to us out here.

As of last night, Boehner does not have the votes to pass his really bad bill. Just in case he does, Harry Reid has already pronounced it DOA in the Senate and should it survive by some incredible happenstance, the August hand of Obama the First would be there to strike it down with the scimitar of his peerless veto pen.

House conservatives are threatening to filibuster the bill if it should go forward… and we encourage them to do all that and more. Remember, when one of these RINO patsies rounds down on you, you have the complete support of the entire Patriot Movement… tens of millions of us. Estimates range as high as 60 million very angry and very motivated patriots out here, which is plenty enough to turn any election.

How soon we forget the total ass-kicking of last November. Aside from the overwhelming Republican victories in the House, some twenty three state legislatures went GOP. Stunning figures that were echoed in cities and counties throughout the states.

This bill, and the others just like it, are emblematic of what passes for reasoning, or lack of it, in the Republican establishment. If it was the military, heads would roll, careers finito. Hell, in the private sector, heads would roll. The bill solves nothing… it saves nothing… this is a leadership problem.

Don’t let up on these guys for a second. Don’t take your eyes off of them for a lot less than that.

Americans, Stand Up To The Statists Now!!

Due to work commitments, both Skip and I are unable to produce an article today. With yesterday’s reading of the Constitution to the House, I thought this article from March 13, 2010 could be an apt reminder of why this should be necessary.

Now is the time, wherever you are is the place. This is the quintessential battle to save representative democracy for ourselves and our posterity. It boils down to a fundamental struggle between right and wrong, good and evil, darkness and light.

In this war between statist ideology and the rule of law as represented by the Constitution, Bill of Rights and the principles of the founders, there can be only one outcome. Freedom loving American Patriots must prevail against the forces of the extra-legal, extra-Constitutional, Marxist-style tyranny now attempting to gain absolute control of this country OUTSIDE THE LAWS OF OUR LAND AND THE FRAMEWORK OF OUR CONSTITUTION.



Barack Hussein Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and the rest of the Democrat leadership are in a criminal conspiracy to steal the freedom of three hundred and seven million Americans. They are breaking parliamentary rules and Constitutional law left and right, without regard to, and directly in opposition to, the will of over three quarters of the people of the United States of America, to force the so-called ‘Obama Care’ bill through on a vote they expect to take early next week.

This massive attempt at the government theft and control of seventeen per cent of our Gross National Product, with the end result of the absolute control of the American people in mind, has nothing to do with health care and everything to do with statist tyranny. Barack Hussein Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi care not one wit for the American people or this country. They only know the thirst for raw power that is the hallmark of the Marxist/Leninist ideologue.



Many times through this battle for the survival of this wondrous land, I and others like me have repeatedly called for our fellow Americans and Patriots to stand forth and be counted. Let your voices be heard for truth and freedom. Now is perhaps the time when our need is the greatest. We must make these ‘lawmakers’ know that we know what they are about, and far more than that, we know who they are!

We must call, write, fax, email and bombard their offices in Washington D.C. and in their individual districts in the various states. Demand answers! Be respectful but tell them exactly what you think and that you know exactly what they are up to.

Once again, it’s OK to be angry but don’t be out of hand. You have every right to be angry when these supposed ‘representatives’ of the people have been anything but. Don’t take no for an answer. It’s our country and our lives and the lives of your children that are at stake. Call and keep calling…visit offices and keep visiting… email and keep emailing.
God love you for your efforts and God save this great nation.

Standby… Voter Rage Will Continue Momentarily.

The DeMarxists are flipping out over what they see as Obama’s sell out to the Republicans. Some are threatening a primary challenge… others are less reactionary, but still bitterly critical of their erstwhile Anointed One.

Obama got nowhere with his mealy-mouthed assurances, saying these ‘tax cuts’ for the rich would not stand… and ‘we’ll fight this battle again in two years’. Sure you will Bub, and you’ll get the same result. What we are witnessing is the most dramatic political shipwreck in modern history. It makes Nixon and Watergate look like the panty-raid it was.

It’s really sort of fun watching them, these far left nutcases all trying to out-nutcase themselves in lining up to chastise their leader. They haven’t gotten around to blaming this on George Bush or Sarah Palin yet, but they will.

The Dream Act has become a nightmare. Poor old Harry just can’t get a word in edgewise these days. Republican RINOs and Democrats that are up for election this next cycle are walking around like they’re doing pin the tail on the donkey… only they’re the donkeys. Harry can’t herd his cats… and there’s plenty in the DeMarxist Senate that are up for re-election this cycle, also.



These folks are ready and willing to break party discipline in a New York heartbeat if they think it may soften what’s coming down the pike in 2012. Doesn’t bode well for Harry’s numbers in the Senate now, does it?

We’re Right Back In The Trenches.

Pelosi and Reid are right in character and wasting no time in driving last gasp attempts to forward their statist agenda before the New Conservatives take over. Harry Reid made lots of friends by launching four ‘Amnesty Act’ bills at the same time… good ol’ Harry. I guess Harry figured if he threw enough bull bleep, some of it would stick.



Nancy Pelosi is mourning the loss of her pet committee chairmanships, all the while bemoaning the Republican intractability and insensitivity to the needs of the “people”. Ever the people, with the DeMarxists. It’s their #1 modus operandi… along with, “for the children”. Not nearly as catchy as they used to be, these shopworn terms of the Marxist elites. The proletariat isn’t listening to them… we just revolted, remember?

By the way, Nancy, while you’re moaning about Republicans not being willing to compromise… Does anyone remember Nancy of the most ethical Congress in history having conference room door locks changed, to keep Republicans out of the DeMarxists’ nefarious scheming for Obamacare? Tough luck Nancy. We went from having no attention span out here to news and information micro-management and a very long memory.

It’s not Nancy’s brave new world. Not Obama’s either. He’s as determined as ever, but the reality is that the Republicans will be controlling the purse strings from now on, unless or until they prove themselves again unworthy.

The president just ‘can’t get traction’, bemoan the most ardent of his remaining fans. No more popular support from the masses, no more adulation from bought-and-paid-for rock concert crowds. Nothing but failure and condemnation.

The left has been purged of the only moderating influences in that benighted party. You’ll remember them, the ‘blue dogs’? Their leaving means only the most ideologically pure Marxists will remain. This brings the whole thing down to a fundamental battle between us… you and I… the American Patriot who has stood firm through the centuries and who stand firm now… and the forces espousing an evil, dictatorial, government monster machine having neither mind, heart and, most especially, having no soul.

The enemy is the is the party of the left and it must be expunged from American politics. Purely and simply, it has no place in a free America populated by free citizens.

That Was The Week That Was #3.

The week started with the Drudge Report headline “Mosque Mess Monday”. It was to get more messy as the week progressed, especially for the fragmenting Democrats.



The previous Friday, Barack Obama had openly declared, at the White House iftar, that it was a constitutional right to be able to build a mosque. Naturally, this greatly pleased the mostly Muslim dinner guests. When challenged on his statement the following day, during a family visit to Florida, Obama explained that he had not been commenting on the wisdom of the decision to place a mosque there. Wisdom was far from the minds of the perpetrators of this odious scheme. It’s a shame that Obama did not use some of the vitriol that he has in abundance for those that seek to serve and support the American people and way of life.

Make no mistake, the choice of the former Burlington building is no sheer coincidence. The name ‘Cordoba’ itself should ring alarm bells. Why would they purposely choose a site that will cost $100 million to develop, which, by all accounts, is money they do not yet have?

On Monday, Harry Reid stated his belief that the mosque should be built elsewhere. I never thought I’d say it, but well said, Harry. It wouldn’t have anything to do with your slipping election prospects, by any chance?

On Tuesday, it was announced that New York State Governor David Paterson planned to meet with the project developers with the intention of offering them alternative state-owned land for the building. This was rapidly followed by a statement from lead developer Sharif El-Gamal, who insisted that the subject was not up for debate. More proof, as if any was needed, of their determination to build in this particular part of Manhattan.

The most ridiculous item of the week came on Wednesday, with Nancy Pelosi’s call for an investigation into who is funding the mosque opposition. Funding? It doesn’t take funding to voice your opinion on plans which are an affront to the memory of the victims, the grief of the surviving families and the sacrifices of the rescue services on, and after, 9-11. I get the distinct feeling that, as this affair rolls on, some unpleasant realities will come to light. Every Trojan horse eventually reveals its contents.



The end of the week saw some more bad news on the economy. New claims for unemployment benefits rose to 500,000, the highest since November 2009. The number of people on emergency benefits also increased by 260,105 to 4.75 million. Sounds like more change for the worse, and very little hope.

Finally, on the subject of statistics, a Time/CNN poll revealed that 24% of Americans believe that Barack Obama is Muslim. Surprisingly, given the political leanings of the pollsters, it was found that 75% of those surveyed hold a favorable impression of the Jewish faith, just above Catholicism and Protestantism. The Muslim cult came last at 44%. With Obama’s current Presidential approval index at minus eighteen points, could it be time for a change of faith?

That Was The Week That Was #2.

This week, it seemed that most of America’s (and much of the world’s) press was covering the antics of an airline flight attendant as the main headline story. Not to feel left out, I thought I would mention it. That’s about as far as I’m going with it, a mere mention. There are probably hundreds of people every week that quit their jobs and walk out, even in these times of high unemployment, although perhaps in not such a spectacular fashion.



There must be many a Democrat that wished there was an escape chute to bail out from the Capitol. Grab a couple of beers, pull the lever and slide into the land of Independents. Probably an appealing idea, except to those leftist ideologues who really believe that their policies are working.

Untruths take three forms amongst Democrats. Firstly, the ‘save your own hide’ type, as in “I did not have sex with that woman”. Secondly, the ‘convince yourself it’s true’ variety, the sort often uttered by the socialists that have been brainwashed into believing the most irrational and unsubstantiated agendas. The third is the ‘apologetic’, as in “I’m sorry if I was misunderstood, what I really meant was…”

A classic example of the latter was Harry Reid, who later explained that his statement, expressing disbelief that Hispanics could vote Republican, was worded that way as his audience were Hispanic. It’s strange that one who was quick enough to point out the possible ethnic profiling result (which was a total fabrication by the Democrats and prohibited in the bill) of Arizona’s illegal immigration law, could himself label all Hispanic Americans as supporters of uncontrolled immigration.

While it is a public speaking technique, to identify with your audience, he shot himself in the foot by going too far. I wonder if he would have used the same line to a black audience, replacing the word ‘Hispanic’ for ‘black’. Maybe not, given the Democrat history of supporting slavery and their association to the Klan.

Blago continued to deny any wrong-doing to the end of the trial, which could now go to a re-trial, after the jury could not decide on most of the twenty four counts. The antithesis of this is Charlie Rangel who, rather than denying allegations, has admitted to “making some mistakes”. Reminds me of the old 1950s British cops-and-robbers movies, where the burglar, complete with ‘swag-bag’ over his shoulder, gets caught outside the premises by the local ‘bobby’. “It’s a fair cop, guv’nor”, says the miscreant. Perhaps Charlie watched those movies.

The week ended with another unbelievable statement from the President himself. Releasing a statement regarding Friday evening’s White House iftar (Ramadan meal) he said that they “remind us of the principles that we hold in common, and Islam’s role in advancing justice, progress, tolerance and the dignity of all human beings.” He went on to say “Ramadan is a celebration of a faith known for great diversity and racial equality … a reminder that Islam has always been part of America and that American Muslims have made extraordinary contributions to our country”.

Always been part of America? Islam was virtually unknown in the US until the 20th century. As for “advancing justice, progress, tolerance, dignity and racial equality”… is he getting confused with another religion? If this wasn’t from the mouth of the leader of the free world, I’d find it hilarious.

If someone had told me, twenty years ago, that the American President in 2010 would be an Islamic socialist, I’d have called them crazy. Good thing nobody did – I’d have been tempted by a little wager which could have cost me dearly. Not nearly as much as it’s costing America now, though. Remember, in the run-up to November, the stakes have never been higher!

It Is The Immigration Issue, Stupid!

This is the big one, boiling along just under the surface, aside from having to deal with a failed economy that is further bedeviled by a bunch of academic Keynesian dilettantes, whose Marxist zeal for redistributive policies are the reason for the problems we’re slogging through as a nation now.

You think this is a dismal place, this economy? If they (the left) had their way, it would rapidly become a dark place devoid of joy or hope. Our Republic is being assaulted on so many fronts, it’s practically a full time job just keeping track of it all. Second only to the economy is the illegal immigration issue. There’s scarcely a state in the union that hasn’t been affected by the influx of illegal aliens, primarily from across our southern border which is some 2,000 miles of shared border with Mexico and, for all practical purposes, undefended.

While Barack Hussein Obama is making great noise about a ‘border appropriation’ of some 800 million dollars, he has done nothing about restoring some 500 border patrol agents he stripped from service and reassigned in the last two years. Our international border stands virtually undefended and indefensible, at least while Obama holds sway.

America is really peed about this one too, Harry. Despite the alternate universe you reside in, Mr Reid, most Americans of Mexican descent are strongly against illegal immigration. Another thing Harry… these Mexican Americans whom you treated so flippantly and whom you dismissed so lightly will make their weight felt in the upcoming election. You see, Harry, these are family people. They are hardworking and successful Americans who, until recently, had been reluctant to come forward in the face of criticism from the left. Many of these folks have been at town hall meetings and tea parties all over the country. They are your neighbors and friends. They are my neighbors and friends. They are Americans.



California is flat broke and can’t copy big brother in the beltway by printing new bucks and distributing riches at the discretion of a few partisan power brokers. The insane practice of harboring illegal aliens in sanctuary cities, while tying the hands of our law enforcement to prevent them enforcing laws regarding illegal entrance into this country that already exist, is nuts to the max, especially in the face of the growing gang threat out there.


California has an annual budget shortfall of some 26.3 billion dollars. Ten point five billion went to services, from education to incarceration for illegals in this state.
Uh, gee, I could show the California legislature how to close the better part of half that gap.

The other big showdown of this election is about to commence…

NRA Backing (Dingy) Harry Reid?!! Members, Revolt!

Say it isn’t so. But it is. Thanks to Erick Erickson (Redstate) and Angry White Dude for being all over this, much to the NRA’s chagrin.  I’m getting that feeling that I have when dealing with the Repubics (thanks, Mark Levin) in the US Senate. It’s the feeling that there’s something nasty crawling on your skin.



My support for the NRA has been on the wane for some years now. Like other members, I’ve seen comments such as “I had a basic membership and they kept harassing me for more funds” and ”I felt like they were no longer supporting the Second Amendment or myself as a gun owner”. There are plenty of these comments out there and they’re not hard to find. In my own case, they kept sending me unsolicited materials, such as videos, promptly followed by an invoice. Annoying, to say the least.

Let me say up front that most of my buddies are gun owners and most are members. I’m going to actively urge everyone I know to cease support for the NRA forthwith. Fortunately for us, there is a viable and growing alternative for gunners in “Gun Owners of America”. These folks haven’t forgotten who and what they stand for. The list of the NRA’s transgressions against its membership and the Constitution is long. Shame on me, I had been following this story at a distance. When I saw hints out there that the NRA, in its misplaced zeal for covering its own pathetic rear end, were turning their backs on a solid Reagan conservative in favor of that slimy, walking wart Harry Reid, I went ballistic.



It’s reminiscent of the sell-out of the AARP membership by its leadership, for cozy political favors by the Democrat Congress. I can’t confirm the actual numbers, but the figure I have seen is that it cost them over 150,000 members. That’s not chump change.

The ‘Repubics’ in the Senate and House have seen first-hand what a hostile and angry Patriot Movement can do to their re-election prospects. Hear that, Lindsey? Just keep telling yourself how irrelevant we are. You too, McCain. JD Hayworth may be a flawed candidate, but he never assaulted the First Amendment. Anyone remember McCain-Feingold? Or, let’s see, the ‘gang of fourteen’? Or how about McAmnesty? Yeah, the one McCain is trying to make you forget about. McCain needs to go.

Like the Republican leadership, at least before the Conservative Patriot Movement, the NRA’s leadership has lost its way. That’s a shame. But we as Patriots and gun owners cannot support the sellout of our Constitution, and by extension our country, for political expediency. For those of you that think it will do any good, or just want to vent, the NRA’s number is 800-392-8683. Knowing gun owners, I have a feeling that they’ll be somewhat less inclined to be forgiving than seniors to the AARP. Go on to Angry White Dude’s site for June 29, 2010 to see a list of the NRA’s perfidy. I think that “Gun Owners of America” is going to see a big uptick in membership.

There is an object lesson for Republicans here. This is what happens when you violate the trust of your base. The days where we’ll sit back and take this crap are gone… whether AARP, NRA or RNC… we have choices. We can vote with our feet, we can back Conservative candidates and we can support a gunowners’ organization who shares our fundamental love of God, Country and Constitution. HOO-RAH!

By The Way, While You Weren’t Looking…

The nation is spellbound, as it watches the monumental struggle between puny mankind and elemental natural forces at 5,000 feet beneath the ocean. This is an environmental disaster of the first rank and no one will argue that, but while you, as concerned citizens, are focused on the Gulf coast, guess what your US Senate was doing?

They’re scheming to steal your liberties and give them to illegal aliens. Charles (Chuck) Schumer and Majority Leader Harry Reid on the Senate side and Luis Gutierrez, (D) Ill. and Solomon Ortiz, (D) Texas for the House side. The two proposed bills graphically illustrate just exactly what the leftists are really all about. For elected representatives to embrace and foster this decidedly self-serving and onerous legislation is, in my opinion, tantamount to a direct assault and contravention of our Constitution. These people should be investigated, as well as their ties to leftist illegal alien supporters and those who thrive from the illegal alien trade.

This legislation is rife with such cute alien incentives such as free automatic social security. Hey, gee whiz citizens, where’s our free anything? Silly me, it takes mucho dinero to keep those aliens here, in our schools, in our hospitals and last, but certainly not least, in our jails and prisons.



There’s an article I’d recommend you read on ‘Right Wing News’ entitled ‘22 Problems With The Senate’s Illegal Immigration Bill‘. This article, by John Hawkins, lays it out pretty well and makes me wonder why these perennial sellout politicians haven’t been called for treason against the country and the constitution.

If there are any Republicans that support this amnesty we must drive them from office. We can no longer afford ‘Republicans In Name Only’. Now, perhaps, we should add ‘CINO’ – Conservatives In Name Only, since conservatism seems to be the party banner.

It’s time to start lighting up the phone lines again, not that you’ve ever stopped, but we’ll have to really hammer them to get their attention. Don’t ever let them distract you from the goal of chasing these Marxists out of government and keeping it that way.

One Trillion Dollar Health Care Reconciliation Scam.

Statists are nothing if not consistent and predictable. Obama is counting on his grandstand showpiece on Thursday to gin up enough support to allow passage of this monstrous, unsustainable TAX bill through reconciliation. Despite promises of open debate and transparency in the development of the health care bill, President Obama and his leftist Congress cronies have gone about the legislation like a meeting of the forty thieves in a cave somewhere.

Thursday’s meeting is already shaping up to be a barn burner, with Obama sure to be at his arrogant high-handed best since he, Reid and Pelosi have been unable to pass health care due to (on the House side) an inability to hold together the votes required for final passage and (on the Senate side) no longer holding the required majority vote.

Desperate for a success, the Democrats are falling back on their legislative version of a scorched earth policy. Obama’s plan has been to meld the House and Senate versions of the bill and add a range of draconian measures of his own. Republicans can be expected to be highly resistant to Obama’s intimidation tactics at the ‘health care summit’ on Thursday.

The Republican leadership has already stated that it may have found a loophole in the budget reconciliation process that would allow them to introduce an infinite number of amendments to the bill. Experts on Senate procedural rules from both parties have said such a filibuster is possible. While reconciliation rules limit debate to 20 hours, Senators lack constraints and could conceivably continue offering them up until 60 members agree to cut the process off.

Republican Senator Jim De Mint (S.C.) said that using reconciliation rules to pass the house-requested changes to the health care bill is “tyrannical”. “I think you’ll see us offering amendments to get us into November if we can”, said De Mint.
Senator Judd Greg, the leading Republican on the Budget Committee said, “You could continue to offer amendments, I suspect. You can offer an unlimited number of amendments after time has elapsed, so it’s logical that you could do it on reconciliation”.

Republicans are doing just what we want them to do. As long as we don’t have any defections, such as Olympia Snowe, we stand a good chance of beating this legislation. It is important that you continue to contact your Senators and Representatives to let them know we won’t stand for the Democrats Marxist tactics.

Reconciliation – Obama’s Last Gasp Marxist Power Grab.

Reeling from defeats in Virginia, New Jersey  and Massachusetts, Obama’s dramatic legislative agenda to fundamentally change Americans’ lives and the structure of our free society is in a shambles. His credibility within his own party is wearing very thin as frightened Democrats seek high ground from the rising tide of public anger.

Obama, his administration and the Democrat-dominated House and Senate have consistently operated in direct opposition to the will of the American people. We’ve been subjected to layer after layer of lies and disinformation, telling us that what we saw and heard with our own eyes and ears wasn’t true.

They have fabricated an alternative universe of statist nirvana that they want to force us to enter to satisfy their dreams of absolute power over us. Americans won’t put up with this, now or ever. If they think they saw a couple of million Americans on the march at the Tea Party event in Washington, they haven’t seen anything yet.

If Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid think that they can ram health care through using the RECONCILIATION process they may be biting off more than they can chew. For one thing, it’s not at all clear whether they can muster the required number of Senate votes to pull it off at this juncture, given the Democrat mad scramble for political cover with November looming larger by the day and increasingly angry, vocal constituents lurking over their shoulders. It’s not nearly the slam dunk deal Harry Reid, Pelosi and their slavish statist press are portraying it to be.



The obvious factoid that they are trying to get their colleagues in the House and Senate to ignore, is that if they were to push this monstrosity through using reconciliation and Obama signed it into law the public’s fury would know no bounds. We’re not nearly as dense as they wish we were. We would understand perfectly what a massive distortion of the legislative process this would be! We would also understand that it was being used in order to avoid the will of the people.

Obama has ’summoned’ Republicans to a health care ’summit’ for which he has a ready-made bill, the House and Senate versions combined, to which he has presumably added a few twists of his own which he will present to Republicans as his grand fait accompli. Republicans need to stick to their guns and demand that the bill be scrapped and started over. They should wear the mantle of the PARTY OF NO proudly, for that is precisely what we wish them to say.

America will stand with them as long as they stand for us, God, truth and the Constitution of this great country.
Get on the phone, send your faxes and emails. Write letters and flood representatives’ offices with your visits. Talk to your friends and neighbors and get them to do the same. Now is the time for ACTION!!

Obama’s OK Corral – Health Care’s Scorched Earth.

Once upon a time, people would feel the call to service in Washington D.C. with the good of the Republic and it’s people in mind. Somewhere along the line that call has been corrupted by the siren song of the money, power and influence that is the beltway. The heady balsams that pervade the atmosphere there can and will turn the heads of any but the strongest and most principled men and women.

We have been battered by wave after wave of successive administrations whose only answer to any problem has been to grow government. Government does nothing efficiently. It cannot feed or sustain itself. It produces nothing. It can only take, it cannot give. The federal government under Barack Hussein Obama is the Titanic shopping for it’s iceberg. When history reports on this recession it will say that it was engineered by insane fiscal policies put in place by a political party whose sole intent and purpose was the destruction of, and socialist takeover of, the country by Marxist ideologues.

Although the citizens of this country have repudiated every economic legislative move by this leftist President and Congress, they continue to meet behind closed doors in one effort after another to suborn the will of the electorate. Having watched his ‘health care’ initiative fall apart in the House and Senate, Obama now has ‘called’ for Republicans to bring their ideas to the table on February 25, while he is scheming even now with Pelosi and Reid to bring the bill up for reconciliation.



Republicans are wise to his game and will not give him the cover he’s looking for. Letters and calls to the ‘Bluedogs’ should have a profound effect right now, especially in the Senate where the Democrats MUST come up with 51 votes to make reconciliation possible. These “Bluedog” Democrats and not a few others on the other side have been sounding decidedly conservative recently. And no small wonder! The country is rising up all around them and literally taking their heads off.

I think many of them know that this is their last hoorah and if they are seen to support this thing they are also seeing the ends of their political careers.
Nonetheless, there are lists of the Bluedogs all over the net, the House and Senate seats most at risk also…and there are a lot more now than there were two months ago. Who’d a thunk it?

CALL, WRITE, FAX, EMAIL or visit your Senators’ and Representatives’ offices if you can. Let them know that if they vote for this sickening garbage they will get a chance to see what unemployment is like for the 20 million or so Americans out of work.

Congressional Quail Break For Cover – Conservative Bird Hunt.

IT’S MAGIC! Congressional leftists are finding all sorts of mainstream centrist and even (gasp) right of center issues to take up… as they scatter in all directions trying to distance themselves from a President and a Democratic party leadership who they see as leading them down a rocky road to destruction.

This magic transformation has come about, as predicted by yours truly, by the turn of the new year and the sudden recognition by some REALLY arrogant Democratic Congress critters who have had a really rude awakening, something else I predicted was on the way. Before anyone gets the idea that I’m making claims towards prescience, I’m not and it wasn’t really all that hard. Following the mood of the American people through news research you can get a pretty good idea of how things may go. Once the Virginia and New Jersey races were improbably won by Republicans in predominantly Democratically dominated areas the change in the temper of the electorate started to make itself known loud and clear. Then came Massachusetts and the Democrats were rocked to their core.

Tea Partiers Make Themselves Heard.

The Democrat leadership began to lose their iron grip on the membership, with Senators and Representatives being incessantly hammered by their constituents and any number of the millions of patriots who have been making themselves heard in no uncertain terms. The Obama, Reid and Pelosi brand of hope and change is not what we want and as AMERICANS we really resent having something crammed down our throats or sneaked behind our backs. We pushed back. We stopped the Obama juggernaut in its tracks, super majority not withstanding. We stopped the illegal and unconstitutional theft of our health care, though that battle isn’t over yet. There are other battles yet to fight, but as Conservative challenges have sprung up all over the nation the momentum has begun to change.

Then there was the disclosure of President Obama’s massive budget and deficit figures. With Obama more determined than ever to try and force his agenda on the American people, Americans are more determined than ever to stop him. The 2010 elections may well prove disastrous to the socialist aims of Obama and the Democrats.

In the interim the Republicans have their work cut out for them. They will have to challenge the administration and the Democrats in Congress on every item, every word if that’s what it takes. It’s good to see Republicans learning how to fight again and doing it to good result. It’s amazing to see liberal arguments dissolve when challenged on fact and principle.

Nowhere Man’s Address… Return To Sender. Obama’s Bomb.

I promised you the same repackaged garbage that our President has been putting out all along, with some fresh and a little recycled liberal garbage thrown in for garnish… and he delivered in spades. In the second longest speech in the history of state-of-the-union messages, Barack Obama presided over a real yawner, (ask Harry Reid) and managed to unify Republican, Independent and Conservative opposition to his extremist policies, and insult the Supreme Court, an act which he my live to regret and turn the military solidly against him. Once again the entire thrust and focus was on himself.

Noted history professor and PhD, Charlie Self, called Obama’s speech “the most self aggrandizing Presidential address in history”. Obama was hoping to quell incipient unrest and possible defections from Democrat Representatives who, given the debacles in Massachusetts and the deterioration of the UNIVERSALLY despised health care bill, are looking to November with justifiable trepidation.



Some Democrats could not withhold their anger. Representative Stephen Lynch, D-Mass, speaking to Obama Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner at hearing about the Wall Street bailout, “It just stinks to the high heaven what happened here”. Whether he knew it or not Representative Lynch hit it right on the national ‘head of the nail’ echoing American taxpayers. Democrats are also angry at the loss of stature that Obama’s failed policy initiatives have caused them.

There has been a marked reluctance amongst Democrats who have been bullied, pushed and pulled by Obama and the Congressional leadership to walk in the usual Democratic ‘lockstep’.
Obama also engendered the ire of the members of the Supreme Court. Saying that they had exposed the American body politic to “foreign influences” by their decision to return the FIRST AMENDMENT to the CONSTITUTION and the AMERICAN PEOPLE, Obama made himself no friends among the Supremes, as at one point Justice Samuel Alito mouthed to him, “YOU’RE WRONG”.

The best thing that could be said for his touted ‘boost for the middle class and small business’ is that it won’t work, will probably lead to massive inflation and a ‘double-dip recession. Business is so confident in Obama’s policies that Home Depot announced layoffs and Sam’s Club is laying off ELEVEN THOUSAND PEOPLE.

In proof of Einstein’s posit that the surest sign of insanity was repeating the same failed action over and over, Obama is seeking to add ANOTHER stimulus to the money that has been literally flushed down the toilet with little or no accountability, and no jobs other than government and temporary jobs that will go away as soon as the money is gone. It’s the exact same failed policies and assaults on the private sector and the middle class that got us here. As far as the President’s ‘freeze on discretionary spending’ goes Charles Krauthammer put it most succinctly, “it’s like using a Q-tip” on the problem.

Obama has also tripped the third rail fuse on the “don’t ask don’t tell” issue as his payoff to the gay lobby. Almost universally condemned by the military and service members, this is just plain stupid policy to inflict on a military committed to combat worldwide in a war of extermination with a fanatical foe that is sworn to the destruction of this country.

Conservative Republicans have their work cut out for them to see that Obama’s socialist agenda never comes to fruition. It is, after all, only “the end of the beginning”.

Barack Obama – The Middle Class Untruth.

It’s not like, “Oh gravy!” “What’s he lying about this time?” It’s more like which SETS of multiple lies do I start with.
While Mr. Mealy Mouth was wowing the kiddies at an elementary school by standing feet above them, looking down his nose at the teleprompters again, Nancy and Harry, with Obama’s direct knowledge and approval, have concocted a complete Rube Goldberg torturing of the legislative process in order to cram that health bill down your throat, 60 votes or not.



They intend to achieve this by a bizarre bait and switch use of the reconciliation process and a total backdoor agreement between Senate and House versions to be enacted by Democrat Representatives, on a promise of signing on to it AFTER Obama signs the legislation and enacts changes agreed to beforehand to satisfy the various recalcitrant factions.

This one is so sleazy, fraudulent and most likely unconstitutional, as to be hard to absorb. It’s almost surrealistic. If the general populace learns of this one they may decide to go the tar and pitchfork route after all. Those Bluedogs? HAMMER THE HELL OUT OF THEM!! They are the Obama, Pelosi, Reid lynch pin on this. So it’s back to the mattresses for Conservatives and Independents. Call, fax, email and contact your local representative’s office. THIS HAS TO BE STOPPED.

Obama, meanwhile, is touting that his stimulus has ’saved or created’ TWO MILLION JOBS. President Obama, YOU’RE LYING THROUGH YOUR EYE TEETH. The Obama administration has been doing everything diametrically opposite of what is required to create new jobs. His assaults on business and the MIDDLE CLASS (this is classic marxism). Assaults on the financial and banking sectors who small business is dependent on for funding and expansion. This is all a direct assault on the middle class because small businesses drive job creation in this country, and SMALL BUSINESS IS THE MIDDLE CLASS!



Now President Obama is going to pull a classic Saul Alinsky right shift and try to convince someone in the ‘middle class’ that he really cares. He is going to claim that the middle class has been under ‘assault’. Yeah Obama, by whom?
15 MILLION JOBS LOST. The worst month for housing sales in FORTY YEARS, down 17% in December. It’s the middle class that buy homes, Obama. It’s the middle class that can pay for them.
Remember all that Democratic junk paper? Those are YOUR foreclosures. Those are the poor that you and ACORN forced the banks to loan to, the ones who had not a prayer of being able to repay.

Your public debt Obama: $12,245,872,000,000 – a figure almost inconceivable in its scope, and you want to increase that debt ceiling by another ONE POINT NINE TRILLION DOLLARS, and you’re going to go in front of the country and preach about FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY?!!
You have destroyed those jobs, Obama, you have destroyed them by sucking billions upon billions of dollars out of the private sector.
You were speaking about being a one term President, Mr. Obama.

Supremes Get One Right: Gut McCain Feingold.

After one of the WORST activist based decisions in history, that of April 2, 2007, which gave the EPA the power to treat auto CO2 emissions as an environmental issue, the Supreme Court seems to have finally put its robes on straight and actually READ the Constitution they are sworn to abide by. The court struck down major portions of the bill, especially those relating to the government’s regulation of free speech.

Senator John McCain’s support for this widely unpopular bill turned many Conservative and Independent voters against him, myself among them. That, and his support for amnesty among other “across the aisle” excursions, probably made him unelectable to anyone but party insiders. Frankly, I voted for him only as a vote against Barack Obama.

One hopes that the Supremes would continue their study of the Constitution for what it actually says and not in support of activist goals. It should be noted that President Obama’s choice for the Supreme Court, Justice Sonia Sotomayor, voted against the people of this country.

A number of other things have happened that should have Conservative patriots concerned since Scott Brown overturned Barack Obama’s brown, wormy apple cart. Nancy Pelosi, looking much like she had just bitten into one of those apples, admitted that they did not have the votes for the passage of Obama /Pelosi /Reid care. That’s a good thing, that’s a very good thing.

Democrats are scrambling to come up with something that doesn’t smell of defeat and absolute retreat for their boss, while in the face of an indisputable message from the AMERICAN PEOPLE.
Obama announced that he would seek a ONE POINT NINE TRILLION DOLLAR increase in the debt ceiling. I’d say “WHAT?!!!” But I used that yesterday. In does point to the incredible disconnect between mainstream America and the ideologically-driven Democrat government, that in the face of a clear message to the contrary the administration would continue down this politically suicidal path.



President Obama also announced the government takeover of the school loan program, another ONE HUNDRED AND THREE BILLION DOLLAR government takeover.
There were another 36,000 jobs lost last week, bringing job losses in the ‘Obama recovery’ to some 480,000 since the beginning of the Obama Presidency. Meanwhile, the Feds are planning to give PROTECTED STATUS to 200,000 Haitians.
This begs the question, just who the heck is protecting AMERICAN CITIZENS?

Here’s a question to France and that ODIOUS blowhard in Venezuela… where are your aid convoys to Haiti? Gee, guess they must have been delayed. But then we saw the way France treated it’s colonials and how Chavez treats his citizens.

There are Conservatives lining up in challenges to the leftists all over the country and the march to defeat the attempted takeover of our country continues. Now is not a time to slack up or to rest on yesterday’s accomplishments. Now is the time for action. Action begins in your communities. Action begins with you.

Obama And DeMarxists – Not Clueless, Totally Oblivious.

We’ve all heard about the alcoholic or the addict being in denial of the symptoms of their affliction while apparent to everyone else. The game changer that rocketed through the hills and dales and the suburbs, towns and cities of Massachusetts has the left throughout the country posting inanity after absurdity, explaining to themselves what has just occurred to their magnificent Marxist machine.



Repudiated in the very heart of their SANCTUM SANCTORUM, the Senate seat of the late Ted Kennedy, the DeMarxists and their lame-stream media auxiliary are filling the ether with the usual half truth, spun and carefully blended with just (they think) the correct balance of misdirection and lies.
This is an old DeMarxist formula tried, proven and successful many times. Problem is, they can’t find any takers out here any more. Our truth meter pegs every time Obama, Reid, Pelosi, or smarmy creeps like Al Franken, open their mouths.

Obama spouts to Georgie-boy Stephanopoulos that Democrats had “lost their way” and he “feels he lost a direct connection to the American people in his first year in office because he focused too much on policy making”. WHAT?! This is a prime example of the absolute disillusionment that pervades the thinking of the ideologically-driven leftist. Obama also said that had we been able to pass health care faster, implying that had they been successful at ramming it down out throats, we would have been SO grateful to our communist masters and to His Magnificence Obama we would sing his praises in union-organized rally after rally.


Other DeMarxist luminaries from coast to coast have tried various and sundry exponents of this same theme. It’s amazing to watch. They are really so far divorced from the American citizen’s and patriot’s thinking and motivation that what they and their agenda suffered over VIRGINIA, NEW JERSEY and MASSACHUSETTS just hasn’t registered.

Certainly, the shock of Senator-elect Brown’s stunning upset victory has sent waves of fear and well deserved apprehension through the ranks of both the House and Senate.
The American voter, those that the ‘elite’ had thought safely marginalized and balkanized behind layers of race and political correctness, turned out to be far more well informed and unified than they could have possibly believed.

We have reacted quickly to stop what we saw as the blatant illegality, absolute moral turpitude and patent unconstitutionality of the acts of the leftist Marxists that have infiltrated and pervade our government today. They haven’t seen us coming. They chose to ignore the rising clamor of our voices as we wrote, called and marched.
They still aren’t getting the message, blinded as they are by their own arrogance.

The Spirit Of The Revolution Lives – It’s The People’s Seat!

It’s a referendum on Obama and his Maoist thug administration. It’s a referendum on Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and the Marxi-Maoists in our US Congress who would dare to steal our precious birthright of freedom from us. It’s a referendum on the blatant dishonesty and OUTRIGHT FRAUD that is being perpetrated by those who are supposed to serve the interests of the people and the country.

Americans, far from being the backward rubes the liberals/progressives/communists have been taking us for while they hide behind one ginned up issue after another, really get it. We know what they’ve been doing. Despite being lulled to sleep by generations of lies laminated one on top of another, a vast Conservative revival is burgeoning throughout this blessed land from coast to coast and border to border.

We also recognize our own shortcomings and mistakes of the past and are determined not to allow ourselves to be lulled into complacency, or allow our Conservative values to be diluted by false messages of ‘moderation’ and those who claim ‘expertise’ who would lead us astray from the proven principles of Conservative action. We have recent experience with a Republican party which WAS led astray from the principled exercise of Conservative governance. The end result is the nightmare we are living in the White House and in the halls of Congress today. The nightmare which has brought the country to the very brink of disaster and the looming shadows of TYRANNY.

Scott Brown Votes In Wrentham, Massachusetts.

Now we have the harbinger of the future which is going to form the substance of DeMarxist nightmares for a long time to come. An upstart, no name, no political pedigree Conservative State Senator is on the brink of waxing the floor with the anointed DeMarxist choice for the late (and unlamented) Ted Kennedy’s Senate seat, Martha Coakley. There is some karmic justice here should she lose, which it appears likely she may. This is NOT A NICE PERSON. She has gone out of her way to destroy the lives of some innocent people for blatant political gain. But that’s a story for another time.

Scott Brown put the contest in perfect context when confronted by ‘the inevitability’ of the DeMarxist’s continuing control over the Kennedy seat. He replied, “It’s not a Democrat seat, it’s not Ted Kennedy’s seat, it’s the PEOPLE’S seat”. It’s a message that has resonated not only through the state but through the entire country.

PLEASE, if you live in Massachusetts BE SURE TO VOTE, call every one you know to vote and have them call everyone they know. It may be crappy weather out there, but living under a tyranny as posed by the DeMaoists would be a lot crappier.
