Romney… Stand Up, Or Stand Down!

I’m seriously conflicted. I’m beginning to have flashbacks to the presidential race of 2008. There are some disturbing parallels between the candidacy of the hapless John “you can’t do it my friend” McCain and the present candidate, the anointed of the Washington Republican Establishment. It’s akin to the feeling I got when I realized that George Bush was anything but the conservative he positioned himself to be.

Americans have been watching with an almost preternatural intensity as this all too real drama plays out on our national stage. Mitt Romney ran for the nomination of the Republican Party like a junkyard dog… destroying candidate after candidate and devil-take-the-hindmost. It was readily apparent that he didn’t much care where the bottom of the swamp was either. Though many of us disliked his tactics… and they were short, brutal and to the point, we salved ourselves with the thought… “just wait for the campaign this summer and fall, Romney will chew up Obama and spit him out, we’ve got a tiger in our tank”.

Readers will remember that I was never that high on Romney. I saw the potential millstone that ‘Romneycare’ presented to the Republican effort to oust the Marxist Obama, as unfair as it may be. ‘Romneycare’ as it has been dubbed is, and was, nothing compared to the utter devastation that will be Obama’s legacy to this country should the healthcare law not be overturned.

Mitt Romney’s attempt to bring sanity to Massachusetts health care costs, through a state mandated health care system, was admirable in its aims. Romney should have known it would have been vulnerable to a Democratic state legislature which couldn’t wait to turn the law into a tax-and-spend opportunity, which was then followed by the election of a liberal Democrat governor after Romney’s departure who turned the law into something totally different than its original intent. What Romney did was to remediate some of the state’s onerous health care regulations. What Barack Hussein Obama has done is to enslave an entire nation to the false gods of liberal governance.

Romney has got to start listening to some different advice. From what I’ve observed, he should dump his advisers now. Whoever advised Romney to allow photo ops from ‘The Boathouse’ and ‘The Monster’ speed boat while the Anointed One is out campaigning, schmoozing senior citizens and sucking down brewskis with constituents, should be in some other line of work… period.

Romney has lost his nerve… or someone high up in his campaign has. Running from the fight is serving none of us well. No incumbent president since Jimma’ Boy Cata has been as vulnerable as Barack Obama. What’s infuriating me and many other patriots, at least according to the comments we get, and we get a bunch… Romney wants us to trust him to bring this country out of the darkness that is this ‘depression’. He wants us to fight for him.
When is he going to fight for us?

Mitt Romney Care – The Environmental Candidate.

The Lame Stream wasted no time excoriating Sarah Palin for saying what a lot of us out here have been thinking… that Mitt Romney, in spite of all the money he has raised (just following where his big-time contributions are coming from shows Mitt to be the darling of the establishment ‘Republicrats’, remember them?), has a fatal flaw as a candidate. The DeMarxists will hang Romney care around his neck.


Our wipe-out in 2008 was the culmination of a political perfect storm, most of which was due to a horribly out-of-control Republican majority, coupled with a big government Republican President in George Bush… a lethal combination, as it turned out.

It didn’t help that the best candidate we were able to come up with was John McCain, also fostered by the establishment, a sure loser. So… from Gerald Ford to Bob Dole and John McCain, the establishment’s track record just isn’t that good. So Mitt’s their (at least) current guy.

Mitt never has dealt with the Romney care issue. Not to anyone’s satisfaction, anyhow. He continues to defend the ideas behind it, and justify why it was beneficial at the state level and only becomes onerous with the feds running a national single payer system. The nation, in general, is in no mood to vote for someone advocating something that sounds a lot like Obama care light. All we want is to see Obama care get a decent burial… soon.

So Mitt has a problem on a couple of fronts. He’s stuck with Romney care… he owns it. Then, just this last week, he panders to the corn growers and embraces ethanol subsidies. The significance of this will not be lost on voters, at least not conservative ones anyway. Not satisfied with that, our Mr Mitt declares himself to be a proponent of ‘climate change’. What is it about the EPA and all the job and economy-crushing regulatory agencies that you don’t understand Mr Mitt?.

I’ve never been over fond of Mitt Romney, I make no bones about that, but even if I was these last couple of positions would do it for me. The last thing this country needs is a president that is ready and willing to crawl into bed with the environmental fascists.

There is another factor. The Christian vote comprises about 36% of the Republican vote. Like it or not, and fair or not, many of these folks will not vote for a Mormon.

It’s Been A Very Long Week.

Our last article was published on Saturday, March 19. The hiatus has been due to a family emergency in which my middle son, aged 20, contracted pneumonia. Apparently, this is a particularly aggressive and somewhat antibiotic-resistant strain. It had been diagnosed the week before and he was sent home with medication. As opposed to healing he got progressively worse… culminating in a high fever and coughing up blood. We rushed him back to the hospital.



He is a healthy and athletic six foot one inch kid, and this stuff nearly killed him in less than a week in spite of him being treated with antibiotics. Here’s the scary part… that pneumonia spread throughout both of his lungs in a matter of days.

To be fair to the medical professionals involved, I saw those first X-rays. They clearly showed a limited infection. The subsequent ones were enough to scare a few years growth out of any parent… both lungs were completely infected. This was confirmed by CAT and MRI scans. The machines were both located in the main hospital building, only a hallway away from my son’s room. I can only describe the care he has received as superb.

I can’t help but contrast this to the planned destruction of our medical health system by Barack Obama and his Marxist minions. I’ve done several articles illustrating the scarcity of medical services and diagnostic equipment in both the UK and Canada. You remember them, right? Those are the MRI and CAT diagnostic machines, of which there are only six in all of Canada? If someone as critically ill as my son had to be transported hundreds of miles to a magnetic resonance imaging machine he might not have survived, and we’d be planning his funeral instead of preparing for his his return home from the hospital next week.

The more likely scenario would have been, should we have found ourselves unfortunate enough to be trapped in one of the Charnel House socialist single-payer systems, that my son would have been shunted off to some waiting room and left on a gurney or left to die waiting in an ambulance, as has been repeatedly reported out of England. Thank God for the skilled and dedicated people in our health care system.

Under ‘normal’ circumstances my editor, Dee, would have stepped in to cover for me. Her work schedule has been brutal recently and she became ill herself. The easy part of this operation is the writing part. Dee does all the heavy lifting from the editing to distribution and research to screening new sites to add to our affiliates. She keeps track of all the mail and responds when she can. If it sounds like a lot of work, it is.

Events all over the world are challenging this country. We, and the world, have had a chance to see how quickly events can spiral out of control without the United States of America in a clear leadership position. Every single policy, every single law, tax and regulation that Barack Obama has been involved with has been clearly detrimental to the national security and the economic stability and future economic, military and social fabric of this nation.

I’m starting to put more credence to some of the conspiracy theories. Obama may indeed be someone’s Manchurian Candidate. In such an unhappy happenstance would you say treason?… and then there’s sedition. Heavy stuff.

We have an even greater battle in front of us, friends and fellow Patriots, than we had putting the Republicans in the majority. Though I’m having some real reservations about the leadership, we cannot allow this to distract us from the upcoming 2012 elections. We have to really turn up the heat and keep it turned up.

Talk to every single person you know and keep talking. Get to know your neighbors (what a concept). Don’t be discouraged unless the individual is a hope-to-die Marxist. Some of the liberally-challenged are starting to see the light. Stick to facts and the simple truth. Now go out there and do it.

Outside The Law, Outside The Constitution – Obamites Defy Federal Judge.

In a graphic reminder to the nation of just why we threw the Democrat Congress out of there to start with, the delightful memories of Nancy-of-the-Smiling-Eyes refusing Republicans to be seated at key committee meetings… and who could forget the slimy machinations of Dirty Harry Reid. Oh, and then there’s UpChucky Schumer, who is a consistent stranger to anything resembling truth.

Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli seeks a hastened Supreme Court review of health reform.

We watched in growing anger as Obama and the Marxists crapped on our traditions, our laws, our constitution and our freedoms. They have dragged our, and therefore our country’s, honor through the dirt. They have engineered, and then presided over, the greatest crash and recession since the great depression. I guess they thought no one noticed.

They continued to demagogue, as item after item of their Mad-Max Marxist agenda was stopped or otherwise deflected by the really fine guerrilla legislative tactics employed by the Republicans, though heavily outnumbered. At every stage of the way, the Patriot groups were behind our Republican lawmakers and let them know it.

The Patriot Movement is different than any other citizens’ uprising I’ve ever heard of. It’s different in lots of ways, but one of its principal assets is just this… it’s principles. Maybe that’s why the left detests us so much. We can’t be bought.

Obama and the glee club are continuing to implement Obamacare in the face of a decree which makes the law not just unconstitutional, but unconstitutional in all its parts, having no severability clause. The justice commented that he did not have to file for an injunction against implementation, since his ruling had rendered the entire health care bill null and void… just like it never existed.

Yet again, Obama and the left laugh in the face of the law, the Constitution and most of all you, the American citizen. The American public are truly tired of the left’s constant and unremitting attempts to bring this country down. If there’s a single shred of anything good to be had from the experience of the last two years, it’s that America, all of America, has finally seen the left unmasked as never before, and we are not liking what we are seeing.

Obama’s Signature Legislation Is His Achilles Heel.

Barry has several such heels… but health care needs to be first on the list for a number of reasons. Aside from the deficit itself, which the health care debacle will make infinitely so much worse, the crushing, stifling effects of the regulations, strictures, and penalties of Obamacare’s monster 2,700 page tome, Republican legislative analysts are still finding hidden provisions and legislative booby-traps designed to make them difficult to remove.



This week, Republicans take up the task of removing this plague on the American economy. Short story is that they cannot stop repeal in the House. Not so in the Senate. Democrat insiders confidently, if a bit blindly, decry that any such legislation would go down in flames, citing the continuing Democrat advantage in the Senate.

I’m not so sure. There are 21 DeMarxist Senators running scared… that is, running for election in 2012. Many, if not all, of these people will be challenged by candidates from the oh-so-despised Tea Party on one level or another. Some come from virtually unassailable Democrat districts, such as Nancy Pelosi and the San Francisco Bay Area’s really nutty liberal base. But others… they aren’t nearly as fortunate and are already on the radar as having voted for the bill. A virtual political death sentence in some districts, so soured have the public become with the DeMarxists and their march to totalitarianism.

Some might find that siding with Conservatives is safer than voting to uphold the legislation, the support of which is threatening to end their political lives. They know that despite the frantic covering fire of the now totally discredited LSM (lame stream media) and all the agitation propaganda the White House has thrown into it, Obama’s health care takeover is in America’s bullseye.

No one is forgetting that Obamacare was forced upon us in the most nefarious circumstances possible. Close to 70% of America want that bill gone and it’s Congress’s job to take the lead.

Make Obama veto that bill every week between here and 2012. Starve every provision before it can get started. Force votes whenever possible, to make darn sure Democrat voting records are illuminated in the conservative press and blogosphere.
Let Obama’s own signature legislation be his swansong.

Americans, Stand Up To The Statists Now!!

Due to work commitments, both Skip and I are unable to produce an article today. With yesterday’s reading of the Constitution to the House, I thought this article from March 13, 2010 could be an apt reminder of why this should be necessary.
(Dee, editor).

Now is the time, wherever you are is the place. This is the quintessential battle to save representative democracy for ourselves and our posterity. It boils down to a fundamental struggle between right and wrong, good and evil, darkness and light.

In this war between statist ideology and the rule of law as represented by the Constitution, Bill of Rights and the principles of the founders, there can be only one outcome. Freedom loving American Patriots must prevail against the forces of the extra-legal, extra-Constitutional, Marxist-style tyranny now attempting to gain absolute control of this country OUTSIDE THE LAWS OF OUR LAND AND THE FRAMEWORK OF OUR CONSTITUTION.



Barack Hussein Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and the rest of the Democrat leadership are in a criminal conspiracy to steal the freedom of three hundred and seven million Americans. They are breaking parliamentary rules and Constitutional law left and right, without regard to, and directly in opposition to, the will of over three quarters of the people of the United States of America, to force the so-called ‘Obama Care’ bill through on a vote they expect to take early next week.

This massive attempt at the government theft and control of seventeen per cent of our Gross National Product, with the end result of the absolute control of the American people in mind, has nothing to do with health care and everything to do with statist tyranny. Barack Hussein Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi care not one wit for the American people or this country. They only know the thirst for raw power that is the hallmark of the Marxist/Leninist ideologue.



Many times through this battle for the survival of this wondrous land, I and others like me have repeatedly called for our fellow Americans and Patriots to stand forth and be counted. Let your voices be heard for truth and freedom. Now is perhaps the time when our need is the greatest. We must make these ‘lawmakers’ know that we know what they are about, and far more than that, we know who they are!

We must call, write, fax, email and bombard their offices in Washington D.C. and in their individual districts in the various states. Demand answers! Be respectful but tell them exactly what you think and that you know exactly what they are up to.

Once again, it’s OK to be angry but don’t be out of hand. You have every right to be angry when these supposed ‘representatives’ of the people have been anything but. Don’t take no for an answer. It’s our country and our lives and the lives of your children that are at stake. Call and keep calling…visit offices and keep visiting… email and keep emailing.
God love you for your efforts and God save this great nation.

What’s Next?

First and foremost has got to be the repeal of ‘Obamacare’. All over the nation there are stories of people’s insurance rates going through the roof, as insurance companies are forced to raise their premiums in the face of huge new regulatory demands in the health care legislation.



Worse still, one of the largest groups to which Obama sold his bill of goods was our seniors. After he insisted that seniors would get to keep their Medicare and their own doctors, Barry Hussein then immediately strips five billion dollars away from Medicare to offset the cost of forcing forty million people into a one-size-fits-all mandatory government health care system whether they like it or not… and most unequivocally don’t.

Then the other shoe fell and, just as predicted by conservatives all over the country, doctors began withdrawing from Medicare, telling their elderly patients that they could no longer treat them. This was never popular legislation to start with, other than with a few Marxist clones with a self-hatred complex and a need for someone to direct their lives for them.

When the nation saw the abyss into which the Obama administration and the Congressional Marxists were pushing the nation, the nation pushed back… and pushed. The end result was the Republican landslide we just experienced. There’s an immense task ahead for us, if we are to salvage the country and put it back on course.

The hard core elitist Republicans, you know them. They’re the ones who were not in the least responsible for the astounding success of the American Patriot movement, but who are constantly waiting in the wings to step in and resume business as usual. They are going to obstruct Patriots at every turn. Just as we’ve told the RINOs… your days are limited.
Republicans need to remember who it is they work for and why they are there to start with.

Unconstitutional – Gee, Who’d Have Thought?

It’s refreshing to see the layers of the Democrat-Marxist debacle peel away, revealing layer after layer of rot, revealing more and more of who they really are. They’ve been exposed as never before.



Supremely arrogant in their insurmountable majorities, they forged ahead time after time ignoring the stated will of the American citizen. These DeMarxists suborned the Constitutional process repeatedly, in their breakneck rush to embroil the nation so deeply in their Marxi-Socialist pipe dreams. With the immaculation (thanks, Rush) of Barack Hussein Obama, the scene was set.

With the inevitable (and engineered) crash of the housing and mortgage loan industries, the DeMarxists made their move. People are much more amenable to being stampeded into doing something really stupid if they are frightened and uncertain. What we saw occur between 2008-2009 was nothing less than a trainwreck… millions of Americans losing their jobs, homes and savings due to the worst recession since the great depression.

The tidal wave that swept Barack Obama to the presidency receded, leaving the flotsam and jetsam of Marxist dogma infesting the halls of government and the Democrat Congress, whom I choose to identify with the descriptive ‘DeMarxist’.

Once the American people got over the initial shock of having our government tell us that unless we gave them the keys to the kingdom the sky would fall, Americans started asking questions and following the money. All over the nation, Americans came together and said “No! This isn’t right and it shall not stand”.

Yesterday, we had a federal judge rule the prime tenant of Obamacare ‘unconstitutional’. What’s more, we’ve challenged Congress’s use of the Interstate Commerce Act, under which auspices they have repeatedly circumvented the Constitution using the commerce clause, garnering more power to themselves in the process.

I’m pretty sure that once the unconstitutionality of so much of what the Obama cabal has done is scrutinized it can be overturned, unregulated or unfunded. We need to play Constitutional hardball. Hear that, Boehner?

The Republican party has the greatest opportunity of our lifetimes to put this country back on a Constitutional path.

Dr Doom And The Cult Of Death.

Barack Hussein and the Marxist Clown College, including the functionally impaired minions lurking in the (former) White House, dreaming their dreams of Marxian Utopia. Spawned, nurtured and polished by radical socialist academics, who haven’t the first clue as to how the country they are presuming to dictate to really works.



To a man, or for you PC hangups, to a person, they know nothing past their feverish dreams of Utopian perfection, blithely ignoring the perspective history has taught us about every single attempt at collective socialism… or if it floats your boat, Keynesian economics.

Ancient Rome, a massive behemoth which, when the trappings of empire were stripped away, never could self-sustain. Its people addicted to government grain handouts, farmers taxed by the output of their production leaving little incentive to grow more food, extravagant spectaculars to keep the ordinary Roman’s mind off his poverty, a government rife with corruption and intrigue.

Does any of this sound familiar? It should. This scenario of ancient Rome could be Washington. It certainly has all the trappings of a decadent empire.

We’re watching the fruits of the almost universally despised Obamacare begin to ripen as it’s shaping up to be a disaster on every level… and there’s crap buried throughout this monstrous tome which could well break the bank by itself, let alone what we can see at this point.

One of the most glaring of the many outrageous lies perpetrated by Barack Hussein is that our seniors would be able to keep their Medicare and their own doctors. Guess what? Half a trillion dollars has been stripped away from Medicare and the Obama administration is trying to force 30 million people into a one-size-fits-all medical system, doomed to failure from its inception.

Those ‘death panels’ that the liberal media had such fun with Sarah Palin over? Guess what? They’re real… just ask Paul Krugman. He finally came out and said the death panels will be working overtime to rid us of those pesky seniors and oh, by the way, we need a VAT tax to help fund the government.



So we see that Obama is stripping medical coverage and benefits from seniors across this country. More frightening still are the hundreds of doctors whose practices can no longer afford to take Medicare patients because their payment schedules have been decimated by the DeMarxists’ depredations.

Dr Doom… and the cult of death. Only one of several for our good Doctor. Tell our Conservative Senators and Representatives that we don’t want Obama care fixed.
We want it repealed, to remain forever on the manure pile of history.

Obama An Embarrassment.

I don’t think the weak and indecisive Jimmy Carter’s presidency was as far down the road to self destruction as is Obama’s. After all, by his second year, all Jimmy could lay claim to is giving the Panama Canal to the Chinese, among some of his other global ‘peace initiatives’.



Carter is, however, a classic example of the liberal mindset. One of the most obvious failings that Barack Hussein Obama has in common with Jimmy, is the absolute tone-deafness they have with regard to the American people.

It was over for Carter when he went in front of national television, to piously proclaim that Americans had to make do with less. That we should turn down our heaters and we should put on sweaters instead. Americans don’t like being lectured, most especially when the lecturer is seen as weak and indecisive… another strong similarity between Obama and Jimmy.

I’ve written about Jimmy Carter’s virulent anti-semitism before. Obama’s is none the less virulent, for all that he tries to cover it over with rhetoric and banal platitudes. Carter was anti-American in that he refused to acknowledge American exceptionalism and held the globalists’ opinion that no country should be more prosperous than another, and that economic stagnation was to be our lot.



Historians will look back at the Obama presidency and postulate about when his star’s light diminished. I could be flippant and say the minute his presidency started, but in fact I believe it was with the first stimulus. A lot of people didn’t like the way that whole thing was engineered. Then along came the health care issue and that’s when the other two wheels came off the Obama wagon. The American people figured out that what they thought was a new kind of politician was actually the embodiment of the worst of the old Chicago ward politics of last century, wrapped in the doctrine of extreme leftist ideology and a visible contempt for this country and its founding principles.

There are many out there who are openly questioning just who and what Barack Obama really is. No president in history has had his background so obscured, scrubbed and sanitized as this one has. His ‘affinity’ for all things Muslim, when the country is just coming to realize the depth of the danger we are in from this pernicious ‘cult of death’, only serves to heighten the public's suspicion of his hidden agenda.

Obama has just about nailed his own lid shut with the endorsement of the now infamous Cordoba mosque. It was another startling display of contempt for the people of this country. The people of America are getting ready to speak in no uncertain terms. We don’t want Barack Obama’s agenda… not at all… not even a tiny bit.

The Show Me State Shows Obamacare The Gate; Won’t Be The Last.

It’s not going to take very long either. With the mood in the country going from angry to ugly, other states are considering similar laws of their own, given the resentment that was pretty much universally present when Harry, Nancy and Obama pushed an illegitimate, vast and ill-considered morass of close to 3,000 pages of absolute political psycho-babble through, against the specific wishes of the vast majority of the American people. All the king’s horses and all the king’s spin couldn’t cram that genie back in the bottle.

The American people, constantly reminded by the National Patriot movement, haven’t gone back into their between-elections somnambulism. They are remembering… and remembering every cheap and unconstitutional stunt the Demarxist Clown College has perpetrated. Putting it mildly, they are peed. No amount of Bush-hating vituperation will buy the MaoBama Demarxists out of this one.

The lies and spin are falling flat, and the Missouri Law passed by the astounding rate of 70%. Arizona, Tennessee, Florida, Mississippi, Louisiana, Ohio and Oklahoma, to mention a few, but altogether there are twenty nine states contemplating similar laws. Perhaps, someday, when the history of the new American revolution is written, they will say that Arizona and Missouri fired the first shots across Obama’s bow.



Another Democrat incumbent went down in flames again today as Democrat Representative Carolyn Kilpatrick of Michigan was soundly defeated in the Democrat primary.
Yes, the country is in a very anti-incumbent mood.

Uncommonly Good Sense.

Most of you who are regular readers of this column are aware that my hardworking editor Dee lives in the UK. Living in a socialist environment has given her a unique perspective on the ills of this failed and failing system. The same system (or worse) that the DeMarxists would see instituted here. Unfortunately for them they have run smack dab into the American people. We do not want your socialism. We will not permit you to take our country and freedoms from us.

What follows is Dee’s reply to a critic of the US, excerpted from a chat forum from the island of Guernsey, a British Crown Dependency off of the coast of France. I thought that it would prove instructional. I love the English people, but they have been so inculcated with leftist dogma and institutionalized welfare that all vestiges of independent thinking outside the socialist envelope is lacking along with the spirit of independence.
Dee has taken them on and as a Brit she is in a unique position to tell it the way it is.

Let’s take your points in turn here. First, socialism. Socialism never has and never will work in any country. It’s been tried many times, always with the same result – financial and social disaster. A free economy is the only tried and trusted system. Ok, you get the propaganda a la Michael Moore and Cuba. Have you seen the everyday hospitals that the ordinary folks get treatment in? Socialism means greater state control and big government which swallows up the hard-earned money of the people through taxes.



It would be great to have a university education without the debt to repay….. uh, but who’s going to pay for it? The government I guess – that means us, the taxpayers. I can’t recall anything in the Bill of Rights about further education being a right given by God. If it was, and health care, then surely the three things that all humans need to survive should be free too? Who can survive without air, food and water? Only one of these is free (at the moment, although the left are trying to change this with cap and tax).

No one is refused emergency treatment in the US, insured or not. True, insurance is expensive. That’s the fault of the system which allows huge lawsuits by slip-and-fall lawyers. 60% of a physician’s overheads is legal insurance. The GOP has promised tort reform along with interstate insurance policies to cut these costs. Obama, instead, is dismantling the best medical services in the world in favor of a NHS style one-size-fits-all system. It would be a punishable offense not to purchase health cover from the government. Still sound so good?

Oh, that increasing US debt you mentioned is partly due to the staggering cost of his health reforms, I believe it was one trillion at the last count. Medicare, which provides a wonderful service for seniors, will be cut to help cover the cost of his new scheme. It’ll probably finish up like the UK, where a senior might not be worth the cost of treatment.

While the national debt is rising (naturally, under a socialist), the country can still afford to contribute 25% of the IMF fund, money now being used to bail out EU countries, and possibly Britain (again) soon. To say that the US is one of the poorest countries when it is still the world’s largest economy is a total contradiction.
To quote you: “Teaching something as fact, when it is not proven is wrong. It is ultimately brainwashing, and should be illegal.”
Do you agree, then, that global warming should not be taught in schools? It is certainly not proven, in fact the evidence gets flimsier as time goes on.

As for California, as much as I love it, it is a financial and social disaster, thanks to the liberals that have controlled it for so long. Again, it is a victim of socialist policies – unrestrained spending, high state taxes that have forced businesses to other states and too much regulation and bureaucracy in Sacramento. Is it any surprise that there is a backlash from the people?

The difference between the US and Britain is that the US was founded by the people, with government as their servants. This current administration is taking a route towards Euro-socialism, where they believe that rights are granted by government. That won’t wash in the US, as the current mid-term elections are proving. At least they have seen the danger before it sinks into the abyss completely.

When the US economy is rebounding, the UK will still be increasing everyone’s taxes to cover a failed health system, an ineffective police force (now that its teeth have been taken away completely) and development of cleaner, eco-friendly power sources. Well, that’s what the BP ad said, while they screwed up the entire Gulf coast.

Administration’s Delusional Obsession.

Bill O’Reilly: “President Obama, if you try to pass this bill through the backdoor, all hell will break loose in this country“. Obama is desperate. He is desperate as only a despot can be when his great and grandiose schemes begin to unwind… when his betrayals become so blatant and so numerous as to be impossible to hide… when his lies, to cover lies, to cover more lies, become obvious to even the most gullible… when the treachery becomes so unsavory that erstwhile colleagues head for the exits.



Just ask Israel. Obama, in spirit if not in fact, is responsible for the uprising on the West Bank by his unwarranted interference in internal Israeli affairs, taking sides with Hamas as rioting breaks out in and around Jerusalem. Former (deposed) Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haneya had called for a new intifada back on February 20, 2010. The Obama White House has been attacking Israel over the decision to go ahead with the construction of some 1600 townhouses at Ramat Shlomo. I don’t see Obama telling Syria, Lebanon or Iran what, how, or whether or not to build on their own sovereign land… unless of course you would wish to count his tacit support for Iran’s nuclear aspirations. Remember, this man has no scruples whatsoever!

Israeli police officers arrest a Palestinian rioter in Jerusalem.

Israel is in a very precarious position, with Hamas looking to ratchet up tensions on the West Bank, Hizballah in Lebanon with a reported arsenal of 45,000 missiles or rockets and special assault troops in training, and Syria threatening to target all Israeli cities supported by Iran, and an American President more than willing to betray an historic alliance, even threatening not to resupply Israel in the event that hostilities break out… the occurrence of which is becoming more likely than not.

This is the face of betrayal. This is the face of Barack Hussein Obama. This is the same betrayal which is being played out against the American people, the radical face of this government. This nascent tyranny cannot be hidden any longer.

This is an administration and Democrat Congress willing to forego the oaths they swore to the Constitution and the people of this country before God. We have shut down the White House and Capitol switchboards with our protests. The ever-delusional House Madam claims that these were all due to “pro” health care calls. One Representative said his office received over 400 phone calls… of this number, nine were “Pro” Obama care calls.
Obama, you’d best listen to O’Reilly.

Americans, Stand Up To The Statists Now!!

Now is the time, wherever you are is the place. This is the quintessential battle to save representative democracy for ourselves and our posterity. It boils down to a fundamental struggle between right and wrong, good and evil, darkness and light.

In this war between statist ideology and the rule of law as represented by the Constitution, Bill of Rights and the principles of the founders, there can be only one outcome. Freedom loving American Patriots must prevail against the forces of the extra-legal, extra-Constitutional, Marxist-style tyranny now attempting to gain absolute control of this country OUTSIDE THE LAWS OF OUR LAND AND THE FRAMEWORK OF OUR CONSTITUTION.



Barack Hussein Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and the rest of the Democrat leadership are in a criminal conspiracy to steal the freedom of three hundred and seven million Americans. They are breaking parliamentary rules and Constitutional law left and right, without regard to, and directly in opposition to, the will of over three quarters of the people of the United States of America, to force the so-called ‘Obama Care’ bill through on a vote they expect to take early next week.

This massive attempt at the government theft and control of seventeen per cent of our Gross National Product, with the end result of the absolute control of the American people in mind, has nothing to do with health care and everything to do with statist tyranny. Barack Hussein Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi care not one wit for the American people or this country. They only know the thirst for raw power that is the hallmark of the Marxist/Leninist ideologue.



Many times through this battle for the survival of this wondrous land, I and others like me have repeatedly called for our fellow Americans and Patriots to stand forth and be counted. Let your voices be heard for truth and freedom. Now is perhaps the time when our need is the greatest. We must make these ‘lawmakers’ know that we know what they are about, and far more than that, we know who they are!

We must call, write, fax, email and bombard their offices in Washington D.C. and in their individual districts in the various states. Demand answers! Be respectful but tell them exactly what you think and that you know exactly what they are up to. Once again, it’s OK to be angry but don’t be out of hand. You have every right to be angry when these supposed ‘representatives’ of the people have been anything but. Don’t take no for an answer. It’s our country and our lives and the lives of your children that are at stake. Call and keep calling…visit offices and keep visiting… email and keep emailing.

Rogue Government! Democrat Runaway – Fatal Attraction.

Obama: “We just want an up or down vote”. He lies. Despite a multi-state blitz resembling his 2008 campaign tour the President’s message has fallen flat, despite picked audiences of SEIU goons, medical pity cases, little kids, and a security guard service to ensure that no real American Patriots would be able to infiltrate Obama’s fifth column performance. Judging by polling results, the general perception of the public to the demands put forth by Obama have shown them to be decidedly underwhelmed, leaving our transformational Marxist looking like the blush is off of his rose.

Meanwhile, back at the farm, Madame Pelosi’s parade isn’t looking that much better either. We keep hearing her say ‘we have the votes, we have the votes’, reminiscent of Chicken Little and “the sky is falling, the sky is falling”, even as the Democrats descend farther and farther into more desperate schemes for passage of one of the most thoroughly hated pieces of legislation in US history.

Louise Slaughter

The House Madame may be courting what’s called the Slaughter solution, an extra-constitutional scheme to actually try to cram the Senate version of Obama-care through the House, without actually having a recorded vote on the bill. The Slaughter solution is named after Louise Slaughter (D) NY, the House Rules Chairwoman. In this scheme the House ‘deems’ the Senate version of Obama care to have been passed by the House. House members would still have to vote on whether to pass the rule but would then be able to say that they only voted for the rule, not the bill itself.



What??!! This is so far out there, it’s difficult to fathom. This move would be sure to further inflame an already angry electorate and generate immediate constitutional challenges. Using every trick in the book… bribes, blandishments, threats, promises of federal jobs if constituents seek revenge against what they see as abandonment and malfeasance by their elected representatives. The leadership is trying desperately to rope in the required votes, which as we stated yesterday, they just don’t have at this point.

It’s obvious how desperate they are. This desperation is what makes them so very dangerous. They have staked everything on this very bad piece of legislation. Being ideologically driven, they have deluded themselves into thinking that it’s somehow something the American people want, despite all evidence to the contrary.

Pelosi’s Diaspora…The Scattering – Deadline May Be Dead.

I mentioned growing up on a small ranch. As a child I was able to observe the habits of our animals at length. One of the things that fascinated me was watching the sitting hens (a sitting hen was one who was broody and was allowed to hatch chicks) parade their chicks out into the chicken yard for the first time. The chicks would respond to the mother hen’s incessant clucking, keeping in tight order behind her and ready to flee to safety under her at the first hint of danger.

Nancy Pelosi has been having her own problems keeping her chicks in line as a fractious membership repeatedly attempts to bolt from the nest. Any reference to the Speaker as an old hen is coincidental.



There is a story out there saying Pelosi is losing her grip, with a picture of a frantic looking Nancy holding up a claw-like hand a la The Wicked Witch Of The West, sans purple skin color. That’s sort of how the whole thing is playing out for the House Madame and the Democrat House right now.

House members are bolting for good reason. With unremitting pressure from their leadership and the White House on one hand and the growing anger of the country on the other, it’s a thankless position to start with. What is becoming apparent is that despite the calls from the leadership and the proclamations from the White House to sacrifice careers, at this point the votes just aren’t there.



With pro-life members threatening to vote no and the hard left saying they’ll vote no on any bill that does not have the single payer clause, there is plenty to worry about. But there are probably others who are ready to jump ship as well, but won’t say so for fear of retribution by the White House and the leadership.

The other nasty little not-so-secret issue is that if the Democrats should win by passing the bill against the will of the people… they lose. If they lose, they still lose.
The perception of the electorate will have been that they attempted to suborn the will of the people through using the reconciliation process.

Lindsey Gr-Amnesty, RINO Extraordinaire.

I wish someone would tell me why this character should have a single Republican member of Congress listen to him, much less be influenced by a single word emanating from his smarmy mouth. In his latest essay in treacherous gum beating he’s let it be known that he’ll play deal maker on Guantanamo Bay.

On Sunday, this cretin actually had the chutzpah to tell the White House that he would work to convince Republicans to ‘go along with closing Guantanamo Bay’, if the President reverses his intention of trying high-profile terrorists on continental U.S. soil.

Graham, ever anxious to ingratiate himself with the administration and bolster his RINO credentials, came in a little late on this one though, since public rage over the proposed trials has all but forced Obama to go back to Guantanamo and military tribunals… aside from the fact that in all likelihood he would be unable to garner support from the Republican membership, other than perhaps a few like-minded RINOs.



Lindsey Graham is the poster child for everything that is anathema to Conservative Republicans and most Independents as well. With an oily, slithering ‘let’s make a deal’ attitude with very little principled moral compass behind him, Graham has made a career thumbing his nose at his Conservative brethren. Time after time ingratiating himself with liberals and advancing their agenda in the face of opposition from his ‘own’ party, continually aligning himself with other liberal (moderate) elements in the Republican party and using the ‘mantle’ of Republican for political cover. So much so that he has been censured by the Conservative-loyal Republican party in his own home state, “for many of the positions he has taken that do not represent the people of South Carolina”.

Among the more spectacular buffoonery Graham has pulled was to align himself with the treasonous John (Swiftboat) Kerry, to push for the economy and back-breaking Cap and Trade legislation so sought after by the leftist Obama administration. Graham is another one who has bought into the fakery and faux secular religion of global warming / climate change.

Graham is also remembered for memberships in both the gang of ten and the gang of fourteen with that great thumb-in-the-eye RINO John McCain, thwarting the aims of their own party leadership time after time and giving victory to opponents. Does anybody remember Graham supporting TARP? I do. His pro illegal alien stance is also another in his long list of perfidy. The party can do nothing finer than to isolate this snake oil vendor, and all like him, until they can be voted out of office.

The vote on health care in the House is just around the corner. It’s time to make our displeasure with the authoritarian aims of the White House and the Democrat House felt in no uncertain terms again. It seems like this last year has been a progression from one desperate struggle to another and it isn’t over yet. Not by a long shot. Stand up and be heard.

What’s Behind Window Number One?

It’s getting to be a little like a ‘Price is Right’ scheme. Behind this window we have… and behind window #2… The difference is that no one knows how to score this one yet. There’s a bunch of hype going on, primarily by a not-quite-panicky Democratic leadership. But the Republicans aren’t that far behind in taking advantage of the situation either.


With President Obama telling his Democrat membership to pay no attention to your jobs… you must sacrifice your careers for the greater good… makes you wonder how many judgeships he has to give out? I want my bill and I want it now. Uh, ok Barry, but just how motivated do you think these folks actually are in following you to Valhalla?

There’s a bunch of political experts and pundits wading in on this one. With the count, and the amount, ratcheting up from day to day. That is the count: the price that this monstrosity is threatening to cost you and your children, and their children, and their children. The number: those politicians who are actually going to be bold enough to sign away the freedom of choice of the entire populace of this country for a very bad piece of legislation on a straight party line reconciliation (there’s that word that Obama won’t use anymore, it’s no longer newspeak) vote of 51 lawmakers.

As tone deaf, elitist and arrogant as these people are they do know by now that the consequences of passage of this horrible major piece of legislation, by what amounts to legislative sleight of hand, can only further infuriate an already up-in-arms electorate, and result in a political bloodletting of historical proportions. Maybe they don’t care, maybe they are willing to slit their bellies on the Capitol steps in the Democratic version of ‘taking the big one for the Ogipper’. But not according to the count that I’ve been able to put together… not enough of them anyway.

There are a few votes that can go either way, Nancy and her smiling eyes and the White House are threatening and cajoling with unremitting pressure to bring the numbers around. At the same time the Republican leadership is cultivating as many no votes as they can manage, while the country is going out of their minds with outrage and shutting down Representatives’ and Senators’ phone lines and burning up the internet with faxes and emails, flat-out letting these people know that if they vote for this bill they won’t be around come November.

My count of Democrats is 34 for a definite yes, 32 most likely or definitely no, and 27 scared witless. This is not a complete list, but it is indicative of the rocks and shoals that are looming out of the darkness to sink the health care garbage barge.

America:"Screw You!"; Obama:"I Want It Now!"

You could tell just as soon as his props started filing out, most likely low-level White House staffers in the obligatory white lab coats left over from the rose garden hoopla a while ago. You could tell by the overbearing look of arrogance on his face. You could tell from the first sentence out of his mouth that there wouldn’t be a word of truth or forthrightness coming out of him.



Rush, Hannity and Levin said much the same thing, that there was not one bit of truth, fact or substance in anything he said. This guy is not really a convincing liar, you’d have to have seriously bought into the whole Obama persona thing to swallow it.

Flashback: A Staffer Hands Out The Props.

In his hubris he demanded an up or down vote on the bill within weeks, indicating use of the reconciliation process for passage without calling it that. Facing uniform opposition from the GOP and not a few Democrats, Obama, like Nancy Pelosi on ABC Sunday, called for loyal Democrats to fall on their swords while acknowledging that the legislation wasn’t very popular, by saying that he ‘didn’t know where it was going politically’. Master of understatement! America overwhelmingly despises this bill and everything to do with it.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said that the legislation was vastly unpopular because the American people knew what the bill stood for and didn’t want it. He further said it represented a half a trillion dollars in Medicare cuts and a half a trillion dollars in tax increases. He said that in the first ten years it would create two point five trillion dollars in unfunded debt through new spending. He also made the point that the opposition to the bill was not between the Republicans and the Democrats, it was between the Democrats and the American people. He followed by saying that the price would be paid in November because the Democrats would not have this issue behind them, they would have it in front of them.

The desperation of the Obama administration is palpable. What they and most everyone else has ignored is that with every likelihood of a Republican takeover of Congress in 2010, Obama just as likely to be a one term President, with the Democrats setting the precedent for major legislation through reconciliation, anything they do pass could be just as easily dismantled.

Let’s hope it doesn’t get that far. Mark Levin has called for all his listeners to saturate Congress with their calls, faxes and emails. Let me add my urging to that. Everyone who reads this please get active. It’s our country, it’s your and your children’s freedoms. It’s the future of the free world.

Democrat Killing Field – The Pelosi Delusion.

Calling for all ‘loyal’ party zealots to perform ritual seppuku on the Capitol steps, the House Madam has thrown down the gauntlet and stated unequivocally that we shall have a bill! Obama will have the ‘final’ version tweaked this week with a transparent veneer of some Republican ideas of no substance or consequence…the classic leftist window dressing.

Pelosi attempted on Sunday, in an ABC interview with Elizabeth Vargas, to assert that she ’shares’ views with the movement that she referred to as “astroturf”, last summer calling the Patriot Movement a ‘faux’ grassroots phenomena. I won’t even go into how lame the Vargas interview was, but safe to say she didn’t once challenge Pelosi’s bi-polar ramblings. Pelosi further stated that the “Tea Baggers” (Patriot Movement) were being controlled by the Republican party. Those of us in the Patriot Movement would dispute that vigorously, as would many in the Republican party itself. It does, however, point out the absolute disconnect between Nancy of the Smiling Eyes and the real world. Makes you wonder who she was pitching this meatball to though.



Her rallying cry to the party faithful was that their ‘jobs’ are secondary to passing this legislation by any means necessary, though that legislation is diametrically opposed to the will of over three quarters of the entire populace of the United States. There’s a lot of hoopla out there about whether the votes in the House are there, and Nancy is well known for her back room ball busting.

The statist-controlled Associated Press polled Democratic Representatives about whether they’d support the legislation. Supposedly, 9 out of the 39 ‘at risk’ bluedog Democrats would either be willing to consider changing their vote or would not commit one way or another. Three are retiring at the end of this term who may be willing to sacrifice themselves. The fact remains that the heat is definitely on these other thirty bluedogs. This doesn’t take into consideration the pro-life members that are unhappy with the provisions in the Senate version of the bill and who have stated they will not vote for the bill. Add to that any other Democrat representatives whose votes may have changed due to pressures from constituents and patriots and the math may not work out for the speaker at all.

Things aren’t always what they seem. Knowing what a third rail the term ‘reconciliation’ has become with the electorate, the Democrats are trying to change the language surrounding it by using terms such as “majority vote” and “up or down vote”, something they seldom afforded President Bush during his presidency. They know just what a super hot button issue this is and how very unpopular this President and this Congress have become.
It will be very interesting to see just how far they are willing to take this sleigh ride to political oblivion.
