Sixty Three Days!!!

In the five day news cycle of politics, that’s the blink of an eye. Liberals got a good look at the real America when Glenn Beck’s call to God and country caused a mere 600,000 or so of you to pay your own way to travel to Washington DC.

I wrote in February 2009 that there was a ‘different’ feel out here… people were visibly, and more importantly audibly, upset at Barack Hussein Obama’s abrupt shift to the left. I said, that in this day and age of instant communication, he wouldn’t be able to hide who he really is for long.

I was gratified to be right, as layer after layer of spin, cover and distortion were stripped from Obama’s public persona, and people were able to see beyond the glitz and canned goodies into the frightening, gray world of deprivation and poverty that would be the inevitable result of the triumph of the left.

The people came together, first in town hall meetings and then at the Tea Parties which sprung up all around the country like mushrooms after a spring rain. Their message was remarkably consistent, though they had no apparent leadership on anything other than a local volunteer level.

Conservative values, the defeat of the Obama agenda and the reversal of health care, smaller government, tax cuts and preservation of the Republic are consistent messages throughout.
We The People… we’re coming to take our country back. Then we’re going to be asking some very pointed questions.

The Republican leadership is under scrutiny as well. There are many who think that, if given the opportunity to lead again, they’ll revert to type and be the ‘Democrat light’ party insiders who perpetrated us getting thrown out of the leadership to start with. Just being elected to office is not going to guarantee anything any longer. We’ll monitor every person we elect. We’ll question and criticize and, if our elected representatives don’t toe the line, we’ll replace them.

Constitutional Conservatism is sweeping the country. Americans are rising up against the threat to our freedoms. Support them. Get active in your neighborhood and with your district Tea Party. Urge everyone you know to register. Tell them that this will be the single most important vote of their entire lifetimes.

Obama’s Retreat.

It’s not his Waterloo… that comes later… it’s more like Napoleon’s retreat from Moscow. It’s like Obama is absolutely overwhelmed with the job of the presidency. Nothing in his background, or training, had prepared him for the reality of the biggest job in the world.

I think Obama was fascinated by the idea of being president. I don’t think he, or the cabal of leftists he has gathered around him, have a clue as to how to run anything, much less this country. The Marxists have managed to unite this country as perhaps nothing else could have.

Obama has had a tin ear from the outset. He has proven to be so ideologically driven that not even the impending Conservative tsunami looming in November will sway him from his vision of fundamentally changing American life and values. This is not a Bill Clinton, with someone like Dick Morris to convince him to move to the center in this center-right country.

Obama’s horizon sees only that which is permitted by his vision. He’s oblivious to the rhythms of the nation or the opinions of the electorate. He repeatedly attacks the new media for doing what the lame-stream won’t… telling the American people and the world the truth about Obama, and the DeMarxists’ rush to break down our society.

Obama’s foreign entanglements, including his apparent support for Muslim countries over our long time allies, is another Obama blind spot.
Barack Obama truly does need to be a one term president.

Bulking Up – US Fuels Israeli War Machine.

And a thirsty one it is indeed, as they all are. The United States has sold Israel two billion dollars worth of military fuel stocks. That’s about 444 million gallons of JP-8, unleaded and diesel fuel.

Israel’s air force would use prodigious quantities of fuel in an all-out air assault against her enemies that could last for days. The tanks and mobile artillery won’t be slow consuming huge amounts of fuel either. This, right in the face of Barack Obama’s biggest push to neuter Israel, by promising a ‘nuclear shield’ to protect her from her enemies… if she promises not to attack Iran.
Note to our Israeli friends: Barack Hussein’s promises are as empty as his economic policies.

It’s remarkable that the administration that has done everything in its power to prevent the Israelis from defending themselves against the real and present danger that is fundamentalist Iran, is the same one that is supplying the one strategic assurance Israel needed to prosecute a sustained military effort.

Israel’s quick and final solution to the Galant issue pretty much put a stop to the speculation that it was a red herring to distract the Arabs from Israeli war preparations. The US, Germany, France and UK air forces have been training, simulating operations over Iran.

Syria’s armed forces are at their highest alert status. Hamas continues to agitate and Hizballah concentrates forces in Lebanon.
Israel must move soon. We should move with her.

That Was The Week That Was #4.

After the excitement of the primaries at the start of the week, it was pretty much back to business-as-usual. The same old rhetoric, blame-shifting and outright lies from the doomed Democrats.

Joe Biden

The howler of the week was courtesy of none other than Joe Biden, gaffe-master extraordinaire. Stating that the economy recovery was slower than he would like, he insisted that we are headed in the right direction. So was the Titanic, Joe. It doesn’t take a master cartographer to read the economy map. If you take the Cartesian coordinates of unemployment, private sector expansion and market confidence, you’ll probably find yourself somewhere in the Bermuda triangle of failed stimuli.

I’ll give Joe one thing… his timing was impeccable, the mark of a gifted comedian. A few days after his remarks, a GDP figure of 1.6% was announced which, in any known universe except the Democrats’, is hardly a move in the right direction.

On Wednesday, it was revealed that former GOP Chairman Ken Mehlman had announced to family and associates that he was gay. While his reluctance (or should I say hesitancy?) to ‘come out’ earlier was perhaps due to possible reactions of Republican colleagues, it was the liberals who supplied some vicious character attacks. While I do not agree with Mr Mehlman’s now open support of gay marriage (not to be confused with civil partnerships, the legal implications of which I have no objection), I applaud his courage and his remarks on the dangers that Islam poses to minority groups.

Ken Mehlman

Some of the nasty comments I read from liberals, calling Mehlman a hypocrite and worse, reminded me of the offensive comment by Harry Reid, when he said that he didn’t know how voters of Hispanic heritage could be Republican. Well, it may be news to the Democrats, but not all Hispanics, blacks or gays dislike America and the Constitution. The liberal assertion that they should all be Democrats is an insult, which implies that all minorities are gullible and lack common sense and decency. To declare such is to pigeonhole all minorities, something they claim (falsely) to oppose.

This distrust of Democrat hypocrisy was borne out by the results of a Rasmussen poll this week. Voters now place more trust in the Republican Party than in Democrats on all ten major issues. On the economy, taxes, national security, health care and immigration, the percentage points difference ranged from 16% to 8%.

One thing that was evident in the survey is the majority support for Arizona-type immigration legislation in the voters’ home states. While John Morton’s ICE agents carried out a successful operation in rounding up 370 illegal immigrants, many guilty of heinous crimes (kudos to Mr Morton for that), there were many in Texas that had already been arrested being released without trial.

John Morton

Mr Morton explained that ICE has to prioritize, given their limited resources. That is fair comment, but it does highlight the need to outsource immigration control to the individual states, who are willing and able to implement the law, given the chance. It is time for the Federal Government to support law and order, rather than pander to the extremist groups who claim Constitutional protection for aliens.
The Constitution is there to protect legal American citizens.

For the Obama administration to cite their opposition to the Arizona Bill in a report to the UN Human Rights Council, on the grounds of ‘racial profiling’ (a total fiction, as the bill prohibited this practice), is another example of their desire to diminish the respect of the US on the international stage. This quote from the AP article: “High unemployment rates, hate crime, poverty, poor housing, lack of access to health care and discriminatory hiring practices are among the challenges the report identified as affecting blacks, Latinos, Muslims, South Asians, Native Americans and gays and lesbians in the United States.”

The very report is discriminatory, as it does not mention the fact that white heterosexuals are also subject to these problems, especially the unemployment that has resulted from Obama’s government and the hate crimes instigated by liberals against Republicans, which seem to become more prevalent. It would be interesting to read the reports submitted by some other countries, say, Venezuela, the Arab countries and Iran.

Watching The Clock.

I’ve figured it out… we’ve got this all wrong. There have been 3.5 million new and saved jobs since Obama took office. We know ’cause they told us so.

The problem is, it’s not the truth. It’s not even close to the truth. The truth is that the American people aren’t buying the story lines any more. The spin scarcely has time to get started before we tear it apart and subject it to the ‘new media review’. By the time we unravel it, there’s not much spin.

I guess we’re all sort of stunned out here, watching this administration self destruct. It’s not just that Barack Obama and that pack of amateurs he has in his government are wrong in their approach to governing and economic policy for this country. It’s that they have been, and are, wrong about every single thing they’ve done since taking office.

With the November 2 elections right around the corner, the desperation in some corners of the Democrat establishment is palpable. With the clock running out, so are the options for incumbent Democrats, some of whom have already fallen by the wayside in primaries across the nation… with many more to come.

If the mood of the nation remains as ugly as it is today, it will become a historical event.
It can’t come soon enough. Clock watching is hard work.

More Primary Portent.

With the notable exception of John McCain, the national Patriot movement has had significant results backing strong Constitutional Conservatives. Rinos continue to pay the price again, with that one notable exception.

To our Arizona friends. I hope you chose wisely. I can’t help thinking that people like Lindsey Graham and John McCain will revert to type. More than willing to sell out his principles, McCain is perfectly capable of secret deals with the DeMarxists, as is Graham. We have no choice but to watch them like hawks and force them to behave.

Hey! Anybody out there want to lay any bets on how long it’s going to take our boy John to revert to type? I say one week. But he has talked a hell of a tough game on the border and illegals, since he had his border epiphany.

Dick Morris is openly calling for both the House and the Senate to change hands in an historic repudiation of the leftward movement of our government. Yes, the people do have a voice in our system and they are making their voices heard in historic numbers.

The grim statistics that are coming out of the economy pretty much say it all. Record mortgage filings, the lowest real estate sales in fifteen years. We lost 500,000 jobs last month, companies are afraid to hire and investment is virtually frozen.

All political prognosticators are calling for a Republican sweep of the House. I think that’s great, and I say let’s take the damned Senate too.
While we’re doing that, let’s pray to God for the wisdom to do this right.

The Old And The New.

The latest batch of primary election results yielded few surprises. After some scathing attacks on rival JD Hayworth, and a no-less-than-spectacular turnaround on immigration policies, John McCain was to cruise home with a twenty four percentage point lead.

John McCain

While Hayworth is a largely unknown quantity in political circles, I think it is a safe assumption that he would not have been tempted to acquiesce to the Democrats in the Senate. The balance in the Senate, come November, will be a close call, probably too close to afford the luxury of defecting Republican votes.

I am amazed that Arizona Republicans, whose current main concern is illegal immigration, could be taken in by a flip-flopper extraordinaire, whose about-turn is nothing more than a blatant act of self-preservation. Sen. Jim Inhofe called McCain a “closet liberal”. Gee, ya think, Jim?! Not a very deep closet, either.

Joe Miller

In Alaska, Tea Party endorsed newcomer Joe Miller was leading incumbent Senator Lisa Murkowski by 51 to 49, with 98% 0f votes counted. It could be a week before the final result is announced, with remote rural areas using the old paper ballot system.

Back in Arizona, Ben Quayle, son of former VP Dan Quayle, won the Republican primary in the 3rd Congressional District. The 33 year old lawyer beat off competition from nine other candidates to become favorite to replace retiring Representative John Shadegg.

Ben Quayle

Earlier this month, Quayle called Barack Obama “the worst president in history” and hoped that he would be elected to Congress to “knock the hell out of Washington”.
Honest on the first count, determined on the second – sounds like the type of person we need.

McCain – Will They Fall For Him Again?

Arizona has proven itself to be a pretty sane place. I hope that holds true through the primary election for the Senate race between JD Hayworth and John McCain.

I’d like to hope that Arizona would have better sense than to fall for McCain’s chameleon-like transformation into a closed borders, anti-illegal alien guy. Or, that along with people like the ever-detestable Lindsey Graham, he was perfectly willing to sell the American people down the road with his carbon tax scheme.

It cost twenty million dollars of McCain money to get the Senator this far. He did his best to destroy JD Hayworth with Arizona voters. What was disappointing was the support that McCain got from the Old Guard Republican Party back in the beltway. They were the same ones who backed McCain for President. McCain could prove to be a very negative factor in the US Senate. He simply cannot be trusted not to immediately revert to type once re-elected. Millions of Patriots have made it abundantly clear that we do not want business as usual from our elected representatives.

Political prognosticators from both ends of the spectrum are calling for what may be a political repudiation of historical proportions, with estimates north of fifty seats that could be lost by the DeMarxists in November. Further, there are some who are now openly speculating on the real possibility that the Senate could be lost to the Conservative Republican revolution as well.

McCain just cannot be trusted. He’s proven too many times that he’s willing to throw party and principles away. From the Gang of Fourteen to his willingness to sell us out on immigration… proof that he cannot be trusted is out there in abundance.

If you live in Arizona, please get to the polls and vote today. Gather your friends and family and get them to the polls.

Israel Braces Itself In Face Of Imminent Threat Of Hostilities.

The chatter among the bad guys, Syria, Hizballah in Lebanon, Hamas and the Palestinians and the Islamic Jihad, is all about the high state of preparedness for war.

Maj. Gen. Yoav Galant and Ehud Barak

Israel moved quickly to solve command issues, with Ehud Barak’s nomination of OC Southern Command Major General Yoav Galant to serve as the country’s Chief of Staff in February, when Lt.General Gaby Ashkenazi steps down. A wise and timely move by the Israeli government.

Iran has its surrogates threatening war, as it continues its insane race for more and more weapons and its relentless pursuit of nuclear arms. Iran may be goading its puppets into attacking Israel to bleed the Israelis as much as they can, before Israel launches an assault aimed at crippling Iran’s nuclear weapons program.

When you stop and consider that Hizballah has some forty thousand rockets and missiles hidden just over the border and the length of time they’ve had to fortify strong points inside Lebanon, it makes the prospect of combat there worth serious consideration.

I don’t know how brave the Syrians are. They talk up a great game but they don’t seem particularly eager to go mano a mano with the Israelis. As I recall, the last time the two armies met, the Syrians got fed their lunch. What is more worrisome are the missile batteries that she has concentrated in the border area.

Hamas and the West Bank… there won’t be much change here… Israel will still have to go in and dig them out, only this time the Palestinians will bring out all their toys.
It’s a monumental undertaking that Israel has known was coming for years.

Barney! Say It Isn’t So.

Barney Frank lauded, flacked and defended the two institutions many people feel were major factors in the collapse of the mortgage market and, through them, the housing and construction industries.

Barney Frank

Fannie and Freddie, the two government entities which had been producing most of the high-risk paper, bundling it and selling it to other mortgage banks. Eventually, the market turned toxic with bad mortgages and the actual and threatened failures of many of the banking institutions that had gambled on these billions of dollars of worthless bundled mortgages.

Even in the face of the obvious disaster that befell us in 2008, just in time to panic an already nervous public into thinking the sky was falling, Barney Frank was steadfast in his defense of the two low-income mortgage giants.

I was listening to Larry Kudlow’s radio audience filet him for appearing to praise Barney Frank for his abrupt turn around about Fannie and Freddie saying, “they should be abolished”. Larry seems to think that Barney had an epiphany regarding Fannie and Freddie and the entire low-income loan business, among other revelations. He thinks Frank is a serious politician and, as he puts it, “a thinker”. Ok, Larry, if you say so, but I’m equally certain that whatever comes of all that furious thinking does not, in general, bode well for the American people.

I’m wondering if Mr Frank may be looking for political cover in the impending storm coming up in November. In fairness to Larry Kudlow, he disagrees with just about everything Frank says. I’ve made no secret of my dislike for Barney Frank and what he helped perpetrate. For him to ride out the back end of this, as the redeemed advocate for free market solutions, would be disingenuous at best.
He hasn’t changed his spots Larry… just his tune.

That Was The Week That Was #3.

The week started with the Drudge Report headline “Mosque Mess Monday”. It was to get more messy as the week progressed, especially for the fragmenting Democrats.

The previous Friday, Barack Obama had openly declared, at the White House iftar, that it was a constitutional right to be able to build a mosque. Naturally, this greatly pleased the mostly Muslim dinner guests. When challenged on his statement the following day, during a family visit to Florida, Obama explained that he had not been commenting on the wisdom of the decision to place a mosque there. Wisdom was far from the minds of the perpetrators of this odious scheme. It’s a shame that Obama did not use some of the vitriol that he has in abundance for those that seek to serve and support the American people and way of life.

Make no mistake, the choice of the former Burlington building is no sheer coincidence. The name ‘Cordoba’ itself should ring alarm bells. Why would they purposely choose a site that will cost $100 million to develop, which, by all accounts, is money they do not yet have?

Harry Reid

On Monday, Harry Reid stated his belief that the mosque should be built elsewhere. I never thought I’d say it, but well said, Harry. It wouldn’t have anything to do with your slipping election prospects, by any chance?

On Tuesday, it was announced that New York State Governor David Paterson planned to meet with the project developers with the intention of offering them alternative state-owned land for the building. This was rapidly followed by a statement from lead developer Sharif El-Gamal, who insisted that the subject was not up for debate. More proof, as if any was needed, of their determination to build in this particular part of Manhattan.

Nancy Pelosi

The most ridiculous item of the week came on Wednesday, with Nancy Pelosi’s call for an investigation into who is funding the mosque opposition. Funding? It doesn’t take funding to voice your opinion on plans which are an affront to the memory of the victims, the grief of the surviving families and the sacrifices of the rescue services on, and after, 9-11. I get the distinct feeling that, as this affair rolls on, some unpleasant realities will come to light. Every Trojan horse eventually reveals its contents.

The end of the week saw some more bad news on the economy. New claims for unemployment benefits rose to 500,000, the highest since November 2009. The number of people on emergency benefits also increased by 260,105 to 4.75 million. Sounds like more change for the worse, and very little hope.

Finally, on the subject of statistics, a Time/CNN poll revealed that 24% of Americans believe that Barack Obama is Muslim. Surprisingly, given the political leanings of the pollsters, it was found that 75% of those surveyed hold a favorable impression of the Jewish faith, just above Catholicism and Protestantism. The Muslim cult came last at 44%. With Obama’s current Presidential approval index at minus eighteen points, could it be time for a change of faith?

Arizona Law Gains Favor.

It looks like Arizona has a lot of serious company out there just now. No fewer than twenty two states are in the process of drafting, or seeking to pass, legislation such as was passed by Arizona. Others are looking at the Arizona law with renewed interest.

Representative Debbie Riddle of Texas aims to pass a new immigration law in January.

The cash strapped municipalities, counties and states can ill afford the lavish largesse, once routinely offered to illegals by liberal governments. The gravy train is petering out for one reason… there is no money. Federal programs and make-work grants are fizzling out.

The stimulus simply didn’t work. That money is running out. The sectors favored most by the infusion of these federal dollars are of course the people to whom Obama and his DeMarxist Congress were most beholden… the public sector unions, the SEIU, the teachers’ unions. So far, they’ve largely avoided the brutal layoff / no job nightmare the rest of us have been living with, only because of repeated bail outs.

It will be increasingly difficult to keep these jobs off the chopping block as further bailouts seem unlikely, given the proximity of the elections and the mood in the country about any further deficit spending. Once the public sector starts to feel the bite, more dissatisfaction will be directed towards Obama and his government.

These twenty two states are legislating in the face of the government’s lawsuit which challenges the legality of Arizona’s ‘tough’ illegal immigration law, which is nothing more than federal law enforced. I think more states will start looking really hard at enacting similar laws, as they have to face how much catering to illegals is really costing them.

Encourage your lawmakers to consider Arizona-style legislation. If we dry up the goodies we won’t have to deport them, because they’ll go back where they came from if there’s no work or welfare to attract and hold them.

Israel Does Not Need A Command Controversy.

As a matter of fact, it’s about the last thing the country or the IDF needs at this juncture.

The Galant document scandal seems to have centered around a fraudulent document scheme, to influence Defense Minister Ehud Barak in his choice of a new chief of staff to succeed Lt General Gaby Ashkenazi, whose term is ending.

Lt. Gen. Gaby Ashkenazi and Ehud Barak.

Apparently, this document, which has been called a fake, was sent to the Chief of Staff and other high-ranking Israeli officers. Police said they believe that they know who authored the fake document. Police were asking General Ashkenazi why he had been in possession of the document for some weeks before revealing it to police.

The most obvious ramification is that there is contention in the Israeli command structure. At a time when all of Israel’s attention needs to be focused on the real and present dangers that surround it on all sides, this a dangerous sideshow which is diverting time and attention from the nation’s security needs.

Maj. Gen. Yoav Galant

Israel needs to show a strong and united command structure. Israel is surrounded by enemies who look for the slightest sign of weakness or indecision to advance their plans for Israel’s destruction.
The sooner the Israeli Command structure resolves its issues, the better for Israel and for us.

Israel’s Options All Point In The Same Direction.

Israel knows it has to go it alone now. If there was hope lingering that Barack Hussein Obama was going to overcome his thinly-disguised contempt for the State of Israel, and in the end turn and lend his support to the mission that everybody knows Israel has on its plate but no one wants to talk about, that hope has now vanished. Israel has watched the situation become more dangerous and more difficult with every passing day.

The Bushehr Nuclear Plant

Buried amongst stories of an Iranian F-4 crashing several miles north of the Bushehr reactor site, there was speculation that the plane had been downed by the intense anti-aircraft blanket that is protecting the site, which is set to be fueled on August 21.

There are also slightly confused and garbled reports of three explosions at the reactor dome. Reports talked about one to three ‘drones’ striking the reactor dome. One report out of official Tehran radio spun it as a ‘readiness test’, checking on the reactor’s security. Sure… we always test our reactors here by hurling large objects at them. Reports also indicate that several people were killed.

One can only hope that these reports are true and that, somehow, the Israelis managed to hit the reactor. It would be a very Israeli thing to do. Early reports being what they are, and the difficulty of getting accurate news out of Iran being what it is, this story is, as Drudge would say, ‘developing’.

Additional hurdles, such as the Russians moving S-300 interceptor batteries into South Ossetia and Abkhazia, which may prevent the Israelis using the northern route to Iran, makes the tactical situation for Israel visibly more serious.

For all of our sakes, I hope Israel will strike soon. Strike hard and repeatedly. Don’t ask anyone… no warnings… just do it.

War Of The Worlds.

I think Americans are a sadder but wiser lot. We’ve learned as a people what the guy on the street has known forever – if it sounds too good to be true… it is. We also learned to our dismay that votes and voting really mean something.

We had fallen into the ‘business as usual’ and ‘I can’t do anything about it’ mentality. It took the shock of seeing Barack Hussein Obama come out of nowhere (literally) to win the US Presidency, and immediately start the country on the most purposefully destructive economic pathway of any President since Franklin Roosevelt, to shake the country out of its stupor.

I have long held the belief that Obama has far more than simple politics going on. His several world tours, belittling the United States of America in front of people who shouldn’t be permitted to say the name America. His toadying appeasement. His obvious favoring of Islam over our proven allies… Obama’s actions speak so much louder than words. In his own verbiage: He must have some skin in the game.

The American people are just now waking up to the fact that we don’t have a war on terror. We have a world war against militant Islam. There is no such thing as a ‘moderate Muslim’. There are Muslims who wish for peace, but they are so cowed and traumatized by the radicals that they either go along to get along or they remain silent altogether. There are groups of Muslims worshiping in mosques throughout this country. Most of them have been financed through various Islamic front groups with direct and provable connections to international terrorists.

Islam does not peacefully co-exist with any ethnic group or religion. Islam exists only to dominate, to destroy, to kill. Islam is the group think of the seventh century AD. Islam does not lend itself to the exercise of free will or thought. It never had the intellectual supercharging that came with the reformation of the western faiths. Islam is trapped in its own death cycle… praising death, seeking death, and creating death.

Islam is a different world with an alien mindset. It chooses to war with our world. This is not a war that we can afford to lose. It will be a decades-long struggle against a foe that only understands death… and only death will stop them.

Obama An Embarrassment.

I don’t think the weak and indecisive Jimmy Carter’s presidency was as far down the road to self destruction as is Obama’s. After all, by his second year, all Jimmy could lay claim to is giving the Panama Canal to the Chinese, among some of his other global ‘peace initiatives’.

Carter is, however, a classic example of the liberal mindset. One of the most obvious failings that Barack Hussein Obama has in common with Jimmy, is the absolute tone-deafness they have with regard to the American people.

It was over for Carter when he went in front of national television, to piously proclaim that Americans had to make do with less. That we should turn down our heaters and we should put on sweaters instead. Americans don’t like being lectured, most especially when the lecturer is seen as weak and indecisive… another strong similarity between Obama and Jimmy.

I’ve written about Jimmy Carter’s virulent anti-semitism before. Obama’s is none the less virulent, for all that he tries to cover it over with rhetoric and banal platitudes. Carter was anti-American in that he refused to acknowledge American exceptionalism and held the globalists’ opinion that no country should be more prosperous than another, and that economic stagnation was to be our lot.

Historians will look back at the Obama presidency and postulate about when his star’s light diminished. I could be flippant and say the minute his presidency started, but in fact I believe it was with the first stimulus. A lot of people didn’t like the way that whole thing was engineered. Then along came the health care issue and that’s when the other two wheels came off the Obama wagon. The American people figured out that what they thought was a new kind of politician was actually the embodiment of the worst of the old Chicago ward politics of last century, wrapped in the doctrine of extreme leftist ideology and a visible contempt for this country and its founding principles.

There are many out there who are openly questioning just who and what Barack Obama really is. No president in history has had his background so obscured, scrubbed and sanitized as this one has. His ‘affinity’ for all things Muslim, when the country is just coming to realize the depth of the danger we are in from this pernicious ‘cult of death’, only serves to heighten the public's suspicion of his hidden agenda.

Obama has just about nailed his own lid shut with the endorsement of the now infamous Cordoba mosque. It was another startling display of contempt for the people of this country. The people of America are getting ready to speak in no uncertain terms. We don’t want Barack Obama’s agenda… not at all… not even a tiny bit.

Obama’s Inner Muslim Seeps Out.

‘Inner Muslim’ is a term which has increasingly been applied with regard to Barack Hussein Obama. His latest exploit into anti-Americanism, by hiding behind ‘religious tolerance’, has drawn justifiable outrage from pretty much across the board, with not a few Democrats very uncomfortable and moving towards the right.

Actions have consequences. A consequence of 9/11 is that despite the left’s concerted effort to do a ‘memory-wipe’ on the American people, it hasn’t worked. The greatest example of this historical revisionism I can recall was back on 9/11. The initial videos plainly showed people leaping out of office windows to keep from being burned alive. By the next day it was getting hard to find unscrubbed versions, and by the second week the only place the originals could be found was in the new media. Had the alphabet networks and the left-leaning cable outlets been the only available news sources, history might have been viewed differently.

9/11 is burned indelibly into our hearts and minds. It is engraved with the fire that burns in our hearts and tempered with the tears we’ve shed for our loved ones and fellow Americans who were the victims of the attacks. When confronted about the edited videos, we were told that it was for our own good. They were afraid that if the graphic images of what really went on that day were repeatedly shown, the anger of the people would force a strong response. The sanitization of the entire Muslim Islamo-Fascist connection in this country was begun in earnest.

Barack Obama has tipped his hand on the Muslim issue time and again. I think most of the country has come to the same conclusion. We were assured that he was a Christian through and through. Christianity and black liberation theology don’t have a heck of a lot in common. His ‘Muslim outreach’ is anti-American and extra-constitutional. Islam is at war with America and it will use any method available to undermine, and ultimately destroy, this country.

Barack Obama is rapidly proving himself to be as big a danger as our enemies abroad. The Cordoba project is an obscenity. Obama’s endorsement of it was blasphemous.
The country is watching Obama, and waiting… Eighty days until November 2.

That Was The Week That Was #2.

This week, it seemed that most of America’s (and much of the world’s) press was covering the antics of an airline flight attendant as the main headline story. Not to feel left out, I thought I would mention it. That’s about as far as I’m going with it, a mere mention. There are probably hundreds of people every week that quit their jobs and walk out, even in these times of high unemployment, although perhaps in not such a spectacular fashion.

There must be many a Democrat that wished there was an escape chute to bail out from the Capitol. Grab a couple of beers, pull the lever and slide into the land of Independents. Probably an appealing idea, except to those leftist ideologues who really believe that their policies are working.

Untruths take three forms amongst Democrats. Firstly, the ‘save your own hide’ type, as in “I did not have sex with that woman”. Secondly, the ‘convince yourself it’s true’ variety, the sort often uttered by the socialists that have been brainwashed into believing the most irrational and unsubstantiated agendas. The third is the ‘apologetic’, as in “I’m sorry if I was misunderstood, what I really meant was…”

A classic example of the latter was Harry Reid, who later explained that his statement, expressing disbelief that Hispanics could vote Republican, was worded that way as his audience were Hispanic. It’s strange that one who was quick enough to point out the possible ethnic profiling result (which was a total fabrication by the Democrats and prohibited in the bill) of Arizona’s illegal immigration law, could himself label all Hispanic Americans as supporters of uncontrolled immigration.

While it is a public speaking technique, to identify with your audience, he shot himself in the foot by going too far. I wonder if he would have used the same line to a black audience, replacing the word ‘Hispanic’ for ‘black’. Maybe not, given the Democrat history of supporting slavery and their association to the Klan.

Blago continued to deny any wrong-doing to the end of the trial, which could now go to a re-trial, after the jury could not decide on most of the twenty four counts. The antithesis of this is Charlie Rangel who, rather than denying allegations, has admitted to “making some mistakes”. Reminds me of the old 1950s British cops-and-robbers movies, where the burglar, complete with ‘swag-bag’ over his shoulder, gets caught outside the premises by the local ‘bobby’. “It’s a fair cop, guv’nor”, says the miscreant. Perhaps Charlie watched those movies.

Charlie Rangel celebrated his 80th birthday this week

The week ended with another unbelievable statement from the President himself. Releasing a statement regarding Friday evening’s White House iftar (Ramadan meal) he said that they “remind us of the principles that we hold in common, and Islam’s role in advancing justice, progress, tolerance and the dignity of all human beings.” He went on to say “Ramadan is a celebration of a faith known for great diversity and racial equality … a reminder that Islam has always been part of America and that American Muslims have made extraordinary contributions to our country”.

Always been part of America? Islam was virtually unknown in the US until the 20th century. As for “advancing justice, progress, tolerance, dignity and racial equality”… is he getting confused with another religion? If this wasn’t from the mouth of the leader of the free world, I’d find it hilarious.

If someone had told me, twenty years ago, that the American President in 2010 would be an Islamic socialist, I’d have called them crazy. Good thing nobody did – I’d have been tempted by a little wager which could have cost me dearly. Not nearly as much as it’s costing America now, though. Remember, in the run-up to November, the stakes have never been higher!

It Is The Immigration Issue, Stupid!

This is the big one, boiling along just under the surface, aside from having to deal with a failed economy that is further bedeviled by a bunch of academic Keynesian dilettantes, whose Marxist zeal for redistributive policies are the reason for the problems we’re slogging through as a nation now.

Harry Reid addresses Hispanic voters in Las Vegas

You think this is a dismal place, this economy? If they (the left) had their way, it would rapidly become a dark place devoid of joy or hope. Our Republic is being assaulted on so many fronts, it’s practically a full time job just keeping track of it all. Second only to the economy is the illegal immigration issue. There’s scarcely a state in the union that hasn’t been affected by the influx of illegal aliens, primarily from across our southern border which is some 2,000 miles of shared border with Mexico and, for all practical purposes, undefended.

While Barack Hussein Obama is making great noise about a ‘border appropriation’ of some 800 million dollars, he has done nothing about restoring some 500 border patrol agents he stripped from service and reassigned in the last two years. Our international border stands virtually undefended and indefensible, at least while Obama holds sway.

America is really peed about this one too, Harry. Despite the alternate universe you reside in, Mr Reid, most Americans of Mexican descent are strongly against illegal immigration. Another thing Harry… these Mexican Americans whom you treated so flippantly and whom you dismissed so lightly will make their weight felt in the upcoming election. You see, Harry, these are family people. They are hardworking and successful Americans who, until recently, had been reluctant to come forward in the face of criticism from the left. Many of these folks have been at town hall meetings and tea parties all over the country. They are your neighbors and friends. They are my neighbors and friends. They are Americans.

California is flat broke and can’t copy big brother in the beltway by printing new bucks and distributing riches at the discretion of a few partisan power brokers. The insane practice of harboring illegal aliens in sanctuary cities, while tying the hands of our law enforcement to prevent them enforcing laws regarding illegal entrance into this country that already exist, is nuts to the max, especially in the face of the growing gang threat out there.

California has an annual budget shortfall of some 26.3 billion dollars. Ten point five billion went to services, from education to incarceration for illegals in this state.
Uh, gee, I could show the California legislature how to close the better part of half that gap.

The other big showdown of this election is about to commence…

The Stimulus That Stimulates The Stimulus Before That One.

BOHICA!! I won’t go into a description of the nomenclature on that one just now. Suffice that it means you’ve been had again and again and again. With magnificent disregard for reality the evil empire has struck again and voted itself fifty billion dollars worth of non-existent money.

Obama signs a twenty six billion dollar spending bill, watched by teachers and government workers.

But wait… those presses have to work overtime to print all that money. Government printers with government unions. That’s Obama’s idea of jobs growth. Fifty billion dollars to prop up teachers’ unions and other public sector unions. Doubtless, much of this illicit largesse will work its way into DeMarxist war chests before long.

This is where I tell you that now it’s no longer yours and my money they’re stealing… uh-uh. Your kids‘. That’s whose money and prosperity they’re stealing now. If something isn’t done to stop them, they’ll be into the lives of our grandchildren. So this latest tour de force by the triumvirate of Obama, Pelosi and Reid has most Americans really boiling.

To most of us, this latest government payoff to the unions just points out the abject failure of Obama’s entire policy, starting with the 800+ billion dollar extravaganza that brought us Government Motors and “green jobs”, at the rate of 350,000 dollars cost to the taxpayer per job. What we can say unequivocally is that it has been, and is, a colossal failure.

We now have eighty two days until the election.
Tell us about what you’re doing to get yourself and your friends fired up and ready for the election… But then, most of us have been pretty disgusted for some time.

Angry Electorate.

California has a budget deficit of over twenty billion dollars. We lay off police and firefighters instead of the useless politicians, bureaucrats and administrative types that have created, and now work hard to perpetuate, disaster. It’s Bell, California on a statewide and national scale.

Angry residents of Bell, California

I cannot adequately describe the utter contempt with which I hold the people who were responsible for, and contributed to, the economic chaos we’ve been living in for over two years now. Americans have a strong sense of fairness which has been outraged by the blatant excesses of the DeMarxist left. I’ve watched this whole thing simmering since the presidential campaign. There was much discontent amongst the electorate back then. Conservatives were outraged at the behavior of the Republicans who were exactly like Democrats on steroids.

The left, of course, is angry all the time anyway… it’s in their contract. It’s the only way they can operate. The left is always miserable, so they want you to be miserable too. It’s hard to believe that Barack Hussein Obama and his Marxist intellectuals have been exactly wrong on every single thing they’ve done since Obama took office. So completely that it presents a different possibility. That conclusion would have to be that it is all being done on purpose, according to a plan. Either way, after all the hoopla and spin they’ve been pumping out, virtually around the clock, they could have saved their money and their breath because America has seen the naked power grab of the left for exactly what it is, and we’ve said “Oh hell no!”

This country is very close to open revolt. Not the tar and feathers variety, but close. Americans believe in the rule of law. We also see the blatant assaults on the fundamental principles of our Republic, under the color of authority. When we see our enemy trying to build a mosque at the site of their slaughter of three thousand Americans, our collective blood starts to boil.

Take some of that anger and channel it to helping out in your local patriot group or Republican party group in your area. Volunteer to be a poll worker. Eighty four days.

Not A Whole Lot Of Love – Eighty Five Days And Counting.

I’ve never seen America act like this. The sense of purpose out there grows daily. I meet people on a daily basis where it’s seldom that the conversation doesn’t turn to the economy or where it might be headed. The consensus seems to be pessimistic about a recovery any time soon, and more people think that the recession may linger for two or more years than do not. But more than that. They are angry. They know what’s been done and by whom.

Business isn’t thinking about expansion… it’s scared to death and just trying to hold what it’s got. They are not hiring and they are not going to hire… they’re too busy trying to figure out how not to have to lay off the staff they have. We have public officials at virtually all levels of government who are scamming their way through the ongoing financial upheaval.

It’s a sad statement on our times that the people responsible for all, or most, of what the nation is going through will most likely never see a jury, although a Republican Congress should certainly look into the obvious monkey-business that’s been going on with all of these billions of TARP and stimulus dollars.

All the while the American people, American patriots, are becoming more informed and carrying the message of Conservatism to others. I think that we have a much more well-informed and politically aware country now, much more so than before. America knows it’s been lied to and deceived. They have watched our betrayal by a self-privileged group of self-proclaimed elitists, who foster racial discontent and bigotry as a matter of policy, whose stated goal is the complete control of every American man, woman, and child. It has welded our populace together with a fierce purpose like probably nothing else could have.

Americans, we have eighty-five days until November 2. Make the most of them.

America Is Wary Of Obama, Angry At Economy.

It’s like, “Ok, what’s next from this bunch?” We think in terms of protecting ourselves from, or mitigating, the damage caused by our own government. That’s a shame. We’re starting to get a bomb shelter mentality. What impetus that grows out in the private business world, to expand or to hire new employees, is crushed by government regulation and the threat of more regulation and higher taxes.

The virtual catatonic condition of the economy in our state of California, and the country at large, is causing people who never before paid much attention to political matters to find themselves joining their friends and neighbors in groups of like-minded patriots, who have banded together to proclaim the freedom and greatness of this land in the face of the real and present danger to our Republic from the radical left, now in control of the country.

The left’s pet press, and the bleating class in Hollyrude, continue to carry the DeMarxist water, running interference where they can and spinning like crazy. Interesting thing, that spin… it works usually because people have busy lives and don’t have the time or the inclination to check any further than the specious trumpeting of the lame stream press.

The spin machine has broken down. The reason it’s broken is because of the new media. Spinning is no fun if every time you open your mouth there’s some guy talking to millions of people saying “Wait a minute”. That’s the effect the new media has had on the DeMarxist spin machine. They just can’t get a lie in edgeways before five writers are tearing it apart.

As the country descended toward the abyss which is Socio-Marxism, like-minded people began to join together in a celebration of American exceptionalism. These came to be known as the Tea Parties. They swept throughout the nation, empowering Americans and uniting them against the Marxist threat. Better than 60% of the people in this country are in the Patriot Movement, or are in agreement with our message.

Yeah, we’re angry… and many of us have reason to be. There’s a difference though. It’s a focused sort of anger. It’s like we know where the problems are… we’ve done our homework.
Obama and the DeMarxists will never be more dangerous than they will be between now and November 2.
Let’s see if we can give them a good long rest.

It’s The Economy, Stupid!

It’s an amazing thing to see. After Judge Vaughn Walker ruled just exactly as he had telegraphed he would, the resultant uproar was bigger than I even thought it would be. I wrote about this on July 5th and predicted an anti-DeMarxist reaction. I admit it, I was wrong.

People were far angrier about the judicial theft of the legal votes of Californians than I thought they’d be. Comments came in from around the nation from angry people who are getting more angry and more determined every day. If those in the gay movement think that this has gained them any friends, they may need to reassess their strategy.

It’s like this. We were really angry before the Judge Walker ruling. That anger was mostly against the left in general, the President, his Congress, and the rats nest of radical leftists that inhabit Obama’s administration. That the gays happened along with their suit at this time is unfortunate, because a lot of people who would normally be at least neutral towards gays and their issues will be painting them with a wide brush, as the country begins to backlash against all things liberal.

The gays, whether they like it or not, are going to get caught up in this. I don’t see it as advancing their cause any. Americans as a whole are opposed to gay marriage… overwhelmingly opposed. It’s not a referendum on homosexuality. It’s a referendum on judicial activism. The Supreme Court may have a lot to say about Judge Walker’s extravagance in interpreting the law and the intent of the Constitution.

The economy… that pesky non-existent economy, with no job growth outside the government or its unions. This miracle of leftist central planning lost another 131,000 jobs last month. We have Democrat members of Congress ready to launch desperate schemes involving legislating by regulatory fiat. They have a lot to account for.

It’s not hard to gauge the level of anger out there in the American hinterlands. With more than twenty million American patriots out there it's palpable. You can sense it in the air.

It’s way past time for all of you to get active about joining us and taking back our country.
I’ll tell it again and again. It’s your country… stand up and fight for it!

That Was The Week That Was.

Another week of unpopular decisions, associated protests by the populace and, at last, some good news (in part) from the Gulf.

Elena Kagan

Elena Kagan was confirmed by the Senate on Thursday, following a 63-37 vote in favor. Ms Kagan is to be sworn in as the country’s 112th Justice later today. Regardless of her political stance, it is incredible that so many Senators could disregard her absolutely dismal performance at the three-day hearing. The fact that five Republicans voted in favor, including Lindsey Graham, is even more worrying. The other four were Senators Susan Collins of Maine, Judd Gregg of New Hampshire, Richard Lugar of Indiana, and Olympia Snowe of Maine. Perhaps they would like to ban a few books, even though “government won’t really enforce it”.

To not enforce something totally unconstitutional would be a first for this administration, given its track record of imposing, or attempting to impose, legislation which contradicts the founding principles of the nation. Similarly, they have no interest in supporting those who do uphold the laws of the land.

John Morton (right) with Eric Holder

I’m referring, of course, to the unanimous vote of no confidence in ICE Director John Morton, by the ICE Union. In a no-holds-barred letter from Union President Chris Crane, he describes how their mission has been skewed toward amnesty, how they are prevented from making arrests, other than in jail settings, and the Obama administration’s guidelines on detention centers, which provide bingo nights, dance lessons and plant hanging. Searching of detainees is not allowed, creating the potential for possession of guns and drugs which poses a risk to ICE agents and contract guards.

I know nothing about Mr Morton, and I would not launch an assault on the man as I believe his hands have been well-and-truly tied by Obama’s administration. I would ask him to look to his conscience. He is employed by the people of the United States to uphold immigration laws and to protect legal residents from the results of uncontrolled immigration, ranging from violence to the drain on US resources. Have some courage, Mr Morton, and show support for your demoralized staff. Be a man, not a puppet for Obama and his minority-voter campaign.

It was another classic case of “We don’t care what America thinks, we’ll do it anyway” this week, with the ruling by Judge Vaughn Walker that the Proposition Eight ruling was unconstitutional. His verdict was based on the Fourteenth Amendment which states, in part, “nor to deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws”. Correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t the law only apply to marriage between a man and a woman?

Judge Vaughn Walker

Under Section 7 of the US Code, as at February 2010: “In determining the meaning of any Act of Congress, or of any ruling, regulation, or interpretation of the various administrative bureaus and agencies of the United States, the word “marriage” means only a legal union between one man and one woman as husband and wife, and the word “spouse” refers only to a person of the opposite sex who is a husband or a wife”. Therefore, Judge, same-sex couples do not have “equal protection” guaranteed by the Fourteenth Amendment.

A glimmer of good news this week, as BP seemed, at last, to have sealed the oil spill. While BP say that the fish in the area are perfectly safe to consume, many local fishermen who rely on this for their livelihood are not convinced. Who would you believe?

Unexpected Consequences.

This week, one man overturned the will of seven million Californians, shredding the meaning and intent of the Fourteenth Amendment. Judge Vaughn R. Walker sought to turn the trial into the circus maximus of the gay movement… he wanted cameras in his courtroom to dramatize the proceedings.

Judge Vaughn Walker

It was apparent from the beginning that the good judge had a stake in the trial’s outcome. How an acknowledged activist in the gay movement ever became the trial judge on the Proposition Eight issue, without being challenged and forced to recuse, is remarkable. The ultra-left may find that this judge’s self-serving decision, which stands against the beliefs of the vast majority of the American people, will only serve to further inflame the nation against the DeMarxist government in Washington and the states themselves, many of whom are in the sights of the American Patriot movement.

Barring an October surprise (take nothing for granted), it looks like the DeMarxists in Congress, not a few ‘moderate’ Democrats and some Republicans (at least the ones we can get to this cycle), are going to be surprised at the mounting voter angst out there. I’m seeing increasing numbers of Democrats, and even a few recalcitrant liberals, change their mind about their role in furthering Obama’s Marxist tyranny.

We’ve had it with activist judges who legislate from the bench while ignoring the Constitution altogether. We’ve had it with the corruption we see on a daily basis. We’ve had it even more with the politicians that put this country at risk… who have broken their oath and have sullied the offices they occupy.
Keep marching toward November… Get active, stay active!

The Show Me State Shows Obamacare The Gate; Won’t Be The Last.

It’s not going to take very long either. With the mood in the country going from angry to ugly, other states are considering similar laws of their own, given the resentment that was pretty much universally present when Harry, Nancy and Obama pushed an illegitimate, vast and ill-considered morass of close to 3,000 pages of absolute political psycho-babble through, against the specific wishes of the vast majority of the American people. All the king’s horses and all the king’s spin couldn’t cram that genie back in the bottle.

Senator Jane Cunningham and supporters watch the results in Missouri.

The American people, constantly reminded by the National Patriot movement, haven’t gone back into their between-elections somnambulism. They are remembering… and remembering every cheap and unconstitutional stunt the Demarxist Clown College has perpetrated. Putting it mildly, they are peed. No amount of Bush-hating vituperation will buy the MaoBama Demarxists out of this one.

The lies and spin are falling flat, and the Missouri Law passed by the astounding rate of 70%. Arizona, Tennessee, Florida, Mississippi, Louisiana, Ohio and Oklahoma, to mention a few, but altogether there are twenty nine states contemplating similar laws. Perhaps, someday, when the history of the new American revolution is written, they will say that Arizona and Missouri fired the first shots across Obama’s bow.

Another Democrat incumbent went down in flames again today as Democrat Representative Carolyn Kilpatrick of Michigan was soundly defeated in the Democrat primary.
Yes, the country is in a very anti-incumbent mood.

What Is Obama’s Final Resort? Attack Iran? The Ultimate Distraction.

Obama is such an obvious lightweight. He’s embarrassing. As a former United States Marine, he makes my skin crawl. The spirits of the honorable dead, of this land of the free, rotate in their graves every time he opens his treacherous mouth.

Now we see him actually trying to take credit for success in Iraq. This President has made a career out of blaming everyone and anyone for his failing policies, and they are all failing policies. I think the pathological and chronic nature of his lying has so twisted his very nature that he really can’t discern the truth at all. He lives in an altered reality, where he will not see the tidal wave of Democrat defeat rising higher on the horizon with every passing day. His warped reasoning and ideologically fevered mind simply will not register what the rest of us see on a daily basis.

He may not recognize what’s coming, but his DeMarxist minions certainly do. Many find ‘out of town’ engagements or ‘prior commitments’ to attend when Obama comes to town. He is rapidly becoming the poison pill franchise of the Democrat party. It’s pretty much recognized that the best way to have an already endangered DeMarxist contest tank is to ask the Anointed One’s blessing.

The country is in a really foul mood. We long ago figured out what he is and exactly what he is about. Recently, we’ve been seeing teases in the lame stream press about ‘plans to attack Iran’ and statements by high ranking officers, who definitely know better than to spread idle rumor that ‘plans are on the table’ to strike at Iran’s nuclear program. We hear more talk of encouraging “velvet revolution” among Iran’s restless populace, something our ‘bold President’ failed to do when he had the chance. I guess he couldn’t convince his inner Muslim.

Is it possible that big, bad, tough-stuff President would order a strike on Iran, just to pull attention away from his failing presidency and his politburo’s lockstep march to oblivion? After doing every single thing in his power to destroy our efforts in Afghanistan, a conflict which would be winnable, were our military given the freedom to prosecute the fight without having their hands tied. After all his bloviating and pompous talk, we and the rest of the world see the emperor has no clothes.

Would he be so unprincipled as to use the lives of our military as a means to salvage votes for the very people who are trying to destroy the country that they are fighting for and, too often, dying for? I think we all know the answer to that. I don’t think anything he does will make one iota of difference at this point.
We’ve seen the emperor… and he has no clothes.

The Business Of Being Black In Washington.

Charlie Rangel has been in the US Congress for 39 years. Maxine Waters has been there for 19 years. Clearly too long for both of them. It’s a fact that, for almost that long, being black and in government meant being bullet-proof and untouchable. One notable exception would be former Congressman William Jefferson, who is cooling his heels in the federal penitentiary for bribery and corruption charges. He is the exception rather than the rule, however.

Members of the Congressional Black Caucus

Black members of Congress have been characterized by their high-handed tactics and outright arrogance in pulling out the race card each and every time someone said something they didn’t like. It worked for a long time. It worked so well that the Congressional Black Caucus became one of the most feared and unassailable groups in the Capitol. Whites, and even other minorities, stepped lightly around them and went to some length to avoid their ire. They were a steady and reliable cog in the increasingly left-leaning Democrat machine… as long as they got what they wanted… which amounted to beaucoup bucks for the welfare and social services plantations, which reliably kept them first in line at the public trough.

The bullet-proofing on their armor started flaking away with the expiation of the ‘white guilt’ syndrome, which they had so assiduously cultivated with the able assistance of professional racists such as the irrelevant ‘Reverend’ Jesse Jackson, who styled himself the successor to Martin Luther King’s legacy and a spokesman for all things black. He was neither. What he was, and is, is a cheap shakedown artist, preying on businesses and corporations that are afraid of having the racist jacket hung on them.

Then there is the always entertaining Al ‘Tawana Brawley’ Sharpton. Another cheap race hustler who never saw a situation he wouldn’t try to profit from, no matter how outrageously untrue or manufactured.

With the election of America’s first ‘black’ President, Barack Hussein Obama, most of that white guilt began to evaporate, and along with it much of the tolerance for business as usual in Washington, black or white. We’ve come to the point where the racist card has just been pulled out of the deck ad nauseum.
We can trust them to try. We can also promise them it won’t get them very far.

Shimon Peres Is Right – Britain Is Anti-Semitic.

The London Daily Telegraph got its panties in a huge wad over comments made by Israeli President Shimon Peres, that England was deeply pro-Arab and anti-Israeli. I guess the truth must sting.

Queen Elizabeth presents Shimon Peres with the Order of St Michael and St George at Buckingham Palace, November 2008.

Naturally, some of England’s ‘senior’ MPs, probably serving the same function there as our ever-bloviating John ‘Gunboats’ Kerry, were irate. Too bad they were not half as irate about surrendering a goodly part of their sovereignty to the Islamo-fascists, who are undermining British society on every level. I don’t see the Israelis with one legal system for their Jewish citizens and Sharia courts for Muslims in their midst, nor would they tolerate it for a second… but then they don’t have a death wish.

At least the Israelis know and recognize who and what the enemy is. After all, your own police, who by all accounts have had their powers and authority so diminished as to make them, and by extension your judicial system, a sad joke. Your police won’t go in to the Muslim slums around London without risking riot or death.

It’s no secret that friction has existed between the Jewish peoples of Palestine and Judea and England since the Balfour Declaration and the British Mandate. The Jewish peoples had been returning slowly but steadily to their lost homeland for centuries, and by the time of the mandate there were already some 100,000 Jews in Palestine.

After World War Two, large numbers of homeless, displaced Jewish people aided by Zionist organizations were reaching the Holy Land. It’s no secret that the British had self serving ‘agreements’ to limit the number of Jews reaching Palestine in favor of the Arabs. The infamous ‘White Paper’ of 1941 saw to this. It resulted in the rise of the Jewish resistance groups such as the Haganah, 1920-1948, and the Irgun, 1931-1948, who were in active revolt against the British authority and waged all but open war against the Arabs who were trying to crush them.

The Jewish memory is long, and they see England as an enemy of Zionism and the Israeli people. They read the British press as well as we do, and I’m here to tell you that it is generally very pro-Palestinian and anti-Israeli.

They see what is occurring in Britain, whose leadership is so feckless that it cannot stand up to the Islamist viper they have taken to their breast. Militant Islam is anti-semitism incarnate. Even weak-willed Belgium, the Netherlands and France have seen the light and are moving against the implacable foes within.
So when the Israelis say that England is anti-semitic, they have reason.

Lemmings March To The Sea; DeMarxist Two-Step.

Despite all the storm warnings, the red flags, the flashing lights and sirens and portents of doom, the Democrat march to November continues unabated. They can’t help themselves. They are what they are. They have shown their true colors again and again, and the American people have decided, “enough!”

We didn’t need the politicians of either side to tell us that what the DeMarxists were doing, under the dubious leadership of their poster child Barack Hussein Obama, wasn’t healthy for man, woman, child or fuzzy little animals.

We reacted with the largest Patriotic outcry since the revolutionary war. People weren’t just angry at the now obvious lies, deceit and treachery which has become the hallmark of the Democrats’ rush to tyranny. I have, for the first time in my life, heard people speaking and writing about revolution. Peaceful revolution we pray, but revolution nonetheless. These folks aren’t some ‘redneck’ characters, rolling around the countryside in their beat up old pickup trucks with rifle racks in the back window and cases of brew in the truck bed. These are serious mainstream Americans, including some pretty high profile writers.

No one has an accurate census of the Patriot and ‘Tea Party’ groups. Recent estimates put Patriot numbers somewhere north of twenty million. It’s the growth stock of the century so far and its dividends will be paid in spades, as America becomes more aware of just how far we’ve been sold out by people who swore the oath of allegiance to the Constitution and Bill of Rights they once secretly, now openly, despise.

The Marxists of the Obama administration and the Nancy Pelosi / Harry Reid Congress are frantically rushing to complete the chains with which they intend to bind you. The more that they are exposed, the more dangerous they become. They know that this is their last gasp. The closer we get to November, the more we will see their extralegal tactics employed.

Republicans have a greater responsibility than ever before in history. We’re going to have one shot, and one shot only, at stopping this treasonous cabal and returning this country to the principles on which it was founded. Americans are with you but we will not, repeat not, allow you to revert to the days of yore. You’re going to find yourselves pulled along behind us, and if you don’t support Conservative principles you’ll be a footnote in the annals of time. The RINO is going to become a distinctly endangered species as well as the so-called moderate.

Americans have made it abundantly clear that professional politicians are in their gun sights. Remember this on the way to November.
