It Really Is All About Business.

This week we were shy of a couple of key technicians where I work. “So what?”, you say… “we all have to work short handed once in a while”. True, and no argument there. What is different, or more likely in Barack Obama’s America, what has sadly become the norm for many businesses is that we are all operating with reduced staff and management. This, in turn, makes the absence of key personnel felt much more in most organizations.

I just went through a week exactly like this one, hence no articles this week. No excuses, work is work and we’re damned grateful for it. The end results of the various cuts, layoffs, consolidations and downsizing has turned American business into a sort of survivors’ club.

We have been forced to fine tune our operations and hone our procedures to razor sharpness by the maelstrom of a decimated economy and the overbearing hand of a blatantly business-unfriendly statist regime, whose only accomplishment to date seems to be the ability to vomit forth copious volumes of repressive and regressive regulations and onerous enforcement burdens on an already overtaxed and vastly over-regulated private business community.

We have, without a single doubt, the greatest workforce on Earth. Don’t buy the bull bleep that America has seen its better days… get out of our way! That’s all… that’s all it would take to end this depression. Yeah, folks… zero job growth, in a now-continuous four year economic train wreck that is the Barack Hussein Obama government and its disastrous policies, qualifies as a depression.

We don’t see the stereotypical long soup lines of unemployed men as in the 1929 collapse and the resultant depression. We’ve had soup lines for many years inside the inner cities, the welfare state has seen to that. There is a minor industry that has grown up around ‘non profits’ that cater to homeless clients, distributing resources and helping to administer social services for homeless and impaired or addicted clients.

These agencies receive both private and public funds. So, we’re paying for keeping the homeless on the streets. Cute, huh? I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t witnessed it myself when doing emergency work at such a facility, and as such had access to a normally locked meeting room with a large white board showing all their funding sources.

There was no ‘safety net’ in 1929. No food stamps, no welfare checks, no public or ‘section eight’ housing. That may be why so many people are still bamboozled into thinking that the recession somehow died and that zero GDP growth is somehow acceptable.

There is no way that Obama, or any of his ilk, is going to sell anyone on any idea that this economy is not his alone. His excuses have all been heard and ofttimes repeated. Now he’s tried to upstage the Republican presidential debates and gotten his hand caught in the cookie jar by John Boehner, who despite all his warts as Speaker, showed a flash of brilliance in turning the ‘trap’ laid by Obama’s jolly jokesters around and depositing it where the Sun don’t go. It simply made Obama look like what he is… the spoiled petulant man-child.

If we want the economy to grow, if we want to see jobs, if we believe in the greatness of the American people… this man must be a one-term president.

Stop! No Way, No How, Go No Further… Halt!

Somehow or other, they are working as hard to panic the populace as the president himself. The ‘Tea Party freshmen’ are in revolt, and good on them for it.

The establishment herd has panicked itself so badly that some of the more congenital idiots among the Republican ‘elite’ are actually suggesting that Conservative Republicans and Patriots are helping the Benighted One by opposing the Boehner bill.

That’s pretty desperate, and I understand that some of the arm-twisting in the House by the leadership is pretty intense. There are some who are waffling or just want to compromise to get the heat off their backs. You folks, you freshman patriots, are holding the line despite all they can do. Take heart. You’re an inspiration to us out here.

As of last night, Boehner does not have the votes to pass his really bad bill. Just in case he does, Harry Reid has already pronounced it DOA in the Senate and should it survive by some incredible happenstance, the August hand of Obama the First would be there to strike it down with the scimitar of his peerless veto pen.

House conservatives are threatening to filibuster the bill if it should go forward… and we encourage them to do all that and more. Remember, when one of these RINO patsies rounds down on you, you have the complete support of the entire Patriot Movement… tens of millions of us. Estimates range as high as 60 million very angry and very motivated patriots out here, which is plenty enough to turn any election.

How soon we forget the total ass-kicking of last November. Aside from the overwhelming Republican victories in the House, some twenty three state legislatures went GOP. Stunning figures that were echoed in cities and counties throughout the states.

This bill, and the others just like it, are emblematic of what passes for reasoning, or lack of it, in the Republican establishment. If it was the military, heads would roll, careers finito. Hell, in the private sector, heads would roll. The bill solves nothing… it saves nothing… this is a leadership problem.

Don’t let up on these guys for a second. Don’t take your eyes off of them for a lot less than that.

Same Old Song, Different Dance.

Citing three respected Republican presidents, none of whom would have given Barack Hussein Obama the time of day, the Anointed One rushed once again to put his mug and carny pitch in front of the cameras for the umpteenth time.

It was fifteen minutes of soundbites of everything Obama has said in the last two and one half years. It was enough to gag a maggot… though if you’re into having other people’s money, I guess you were in Nirvana.

Obama shouldn’t be surprised if his little campaign speech doesn’t make anyone swoon with admiration at his eloquence. That’s what comes from having heard it all before… only this time we’re ready for him. All Obama could do was to excoriate the GOP for their intransigent stubbornness in not embracing his magnanimous offer to complete the devastation that he and his Marxists have so assiduously wrought.

Speaker of the House John Boehner’s reply had no soaring rhetoric, nor pleas for revenues derived from the coffers of the ‘rich’. It simply laid out the Republican position. Meanwhile, our glorious leader proclaimed loudly how the ‘rich’ had ‘stepped up before’. More of Obama’s tax the rich. You know… those millionaires and billionaires and their horrible loopholes.

You see, only a skilled guest lecturer-cum- community organizer, someone for whom someone else has always paid the freight, could fail to recognize that none of us has ever gotten a job from a poor man.

What this is, and why it is so important that Speaker Boehner and the rest of the Republican leadership do not waver, is that this is Obama’s own war with the middle class in America. The middle class is the only barrier between ObaMao and the complete communist takeover of this country. Don’t kid yourselves, Obama is running scared. If he gets any more rattled, he’ll have to wear Depends.

The truth here is that this Conservative agenda is Tea-Party driven. The Patriot Movement has grown exponentially since 2008, and we’ve gained in knowledge and sophistication. We’ve become a real force to be reckoned with. We’ve literally supplied the spine that the Republicans have shown thus.
The heat is unremitting and the Tea-Party Patriots are just warming up.

The Ugly Americans.

I’m not the only one that can’t seem to get over the really lame shenanigans that pass for decision and policy making in the nation’s capital.

I’m speaking, of course, of the Republican leadership and most particularly the Senate Republicans, who seem to me, at least, to be in full suck-up mode, tripping over each other in their efforts to lose whatever small strategic advantage we had regained since Boehner and company fell for Obama’s first budget and reduction gambits back in January and February.

That should have been a harbinger of things to come, because every single time we’ve had Obama on the mat they’ve let him back up and we lose a little more credibility. We elected warriors… we got wimps. These people are afraid of their own shadows. They are too timid to fight. They are too timid to stand up for this country, its Constitution, its principles and its people.

The sheer ineptitude of the Republican leadership is demonstrated by their seeming inability to weld a cohesive message and one clear concise policy on the debt and government binging.

This madness has to stop, and stop now. None of us sees a bit of humor out here. All I see is anger… a growing, seething anger, with more and more people speaking out and voicing their displeasure with the Republican establishment who has once again managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Obama was as good as hung out to dry, and you… yes, you, the Republican so-called leadership, handed him an out. The DeMarxists haven’t submitted one word, not so much as one word, about a budget… balanced or otherwise, in over two years.

In the space of one week we, instead of forcing Obama’s hand, send him not one but three proposals for him to pick apart and demagogue, while he still does nothing. Meanwhile, the anger in the country gets stronger every day.

Republicans Have This One Last Chance.

It’s really too bad. All it would have taken was one Republican leader to step up and throw this whole mess back in Barack Hussein Obama’s face, where it belonged in the first place. Just one leader with some testosterone. Instead, we get the ‘lets make a deal’ crew all over again.

We know that Congress is being bombarded by deluges of angry patriots, voicing their displeasure with John Boehner and Mitch McConnell. Yesterday, the Annoyed One stormed out of a meeting with the Republican leadership, telling them ‘not to call his bluff’… which, of course, is exactly what they should do.

Good gravy, you’d think they’d have figured it out by now. It’s sort of like this. Where goeth the Tea Party Patriots, so goeth the nation. I don’t think that that’s much of an exaggeration either. They would never have attained the majority in the House without what we did to put them there.

Therein, as they say, lies the rub. No matter what sort of cockamamie sell-out scheme these two timid creatures come up with, there are at least one hundred Representatives who have stated unequivocally that they will not vote for any debt increase under any circumstances.

Would somebody please tell me why anyone would want to give the Marxists of Barack Obama’s regime one more dime to pee away, pumping up unions and union jobs, on more bureaucrats and regulation, and more poison and venom to be pumped into the economy?

To the Republican leadership… If you blink on this one you’re gone and so is your Party. You will be consumed in the fire of the Patriot Movement.
This is your defining moment… What’s it to be?

McConnell Sell Out.

Just had that feeling… I wrote about it yesterday… I’ve learned to trust my inner genie. The Senate Republicans have attempted to usurp the more than 70% of the American people and the Republican dominated House, whose stubborn refusal to cave to the pressure of the Republican establishment and do another sell-out compromise with the statists of the Obama regime has resulted in Mitch McConnell’s so called last ditch ‘backup plan’.

Its brilliance lies in its simplistic stupidity… Let Obama set his own debt ceiling. Absolute genius. That’s like giving a junkie the deed to an opium factory. Mitch’s RINO reasoning goeth thusly… If we let Obama raise his own debt limit, all the little people out there will see what a baad man Obama really is and will flock to the squishy Republican ‘moderation’ zone.

I like what Erick Erickson of Redstate called it… ‘the Pontius Pilate Pass the Buck Act of 2011′. That pretty well sums it up for me, too. I knew John Boehner was involved here as well, with his comment ‘We should have a backup plan’. Yeah, John… the backup plan is to say no!

In the meantime, while these two are bleating about ‘backup this and backup that’, ‘Barack the Destroyer’ is out there lying through his eyeteeth, doing his best to panic and stampede the nation’s seniors, saying that he didn’t know if there would be money in the coffers for Social Security and disability checks. That’s a lie in and of itself. Checks to Social Security and disability recipients are not, and never were, in danger. Neither are payments to the military.

Force this bunch of clowns back on the reservation and tell them this is it.
No deals on the debt limit!

Don’t Cave!

Well… the Republican leadership is. Leading, I mean. At least, at present. Boehner has stuck to our guns and told Obama to chew an old sock… No tax increases.

Okay, but don’t fault me for feeling a bit cautious and, truth be known, skeptical as well. I have seen the Republicans with strong hands, only to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory too many times to get giddy about this crew, in any case. John Boehner is not exactly the lion of the right, no matter how much we want him to be.

I think of Boehner and I think of back door deal-making… and the establishment ‘don’t rock the boat’ and ‘we know better than you do’ attitude that so many of us have come to detest. One of the reasons the Tea Party and Citizen Patriot movements came into being to start with.

I think perhaps Eric Cantor is a bit closer to the ‘rebellious’ freshman class. Those 71 principled patriots unexpectedly resisted the blandishments of the party hacks from both sides, and not a few threats from various sources, to become a force of their own in the 112th Congress.

But keep in mind, Eric is himself a product of the establishment, though his performance in these critical times thus far has been exemplary. I’ve heard him described as “A young man in a hurry”. Fine. As long as he tows the conservative banner with him.

Between the adamant refusal of the Conservatives to consider tax increases, ‘revenue enhancers’, or any of the other scams put forth by ObaMao’s Marxists, and the absolute blizzard, the continuing blizzard I may add, of calls, emails and visits to Republican members, even the somewhat timid, tentative Boehner seemed to stiffen up.
There’s just one thing that bothers me… there’s still plenty of time for him to roll over.

Timothy Geithner – The Elmer Fudd Of Economics.

Actually, there’s a strain of Chicken Little there too…’The sky is falling, the sky is falling’. It’s the left’s Rocky Horror Show, complete with a gallery of freaks that would make the Rocky cast jealous. It’s the full press of all the Marxists in the government to terrify the American people and stampede the Congressional Republicans into agreeing to raise the debt limit.

Timothy Geithner is a classic example of the incompatibility of the leftist ‘econo-ideologue’ and the American capitalist system. His public advocation of Keynesian economic principles has shown everyone with the wits to see that this man, former head of the New York Fed, little understands what actually drives the economic engine which is America.

The debt is impossibly high and the Fed has pumped billions upon billions of absolutely worthless dollars (meaning borrowed) into a small selected sector of the economy, meaning of course the banks, who instead of having to pay for their collusion in the sub-prime mortgage disasters, were rewarded by the government, who had mandated the sale of sub-prime instruments by the investment banks in the first place. Very few of these guys had their hands clean. Geithner was instrumental in seeing to it that these ‘friends of Obama’ were taken care of. It’s the largest political payoff and money laundering scheme in history.

The most pernicious sellout of the economy has been to the public service sector unions. Timothy was very much in the loop as billions of dollars were pumped into states and municipalities to prop up union jobs. Union leaders were more frequent (and welcome) than the Joint Chiefs to the ‘House That Obama Soiled’. It will be very interesting to see what questions a post El Obama regime Federal Grand Jury would have for Timmy and his cohorts.

The jobless numbers… in a word…. sucked. ObaMao is in deep trouble. El Presidente was confident that John Boehner could be cajoled and conned into the DeMarxists’ carefully laid trap of phased-in cuts, with several dollars to one spending-to-cut ratio over ten years. The problem is… every time in the past that we’ve fallen for that… well, just ask George Bush… he paid for that mistake with his presidency. The Leftists’ promises are, as always, worthless.

John Boehner has seen the light. He’s finally on the program… at least so far. Seems like John was given some spine by a very determined and unwavering freshman class which has wrapped itself in the mandate of the American Patriot Movement.

And then there’s the absolute tidal wave of everyday American patriots, who have been bombarding Congress and our Republican leadership with an unwavering message… Stand up or get out!
Keep it up, America. It’s working.

This Will Either Be Boehner’s Finest Moment Or His Last Stand.

Here’s what it’s going to come down to. Our esteemed Speaker came on board sounding like a Conservative patriot. We were promised hundreds of billions in spending cuts ‘right out of the gate’. Like so much else the establishment Republicans have been doing, it didn’t materialize… because they refused to stand up to their Marxist adversaries, more than anything.

In an interview with Jonathan Karl of ABC, Jim DeMint warns Republicans that they may be 'gone' if they support the debt ceiling increase.

John Boehner started last January, trumpeting hundreds of billions of dollars of spending cuts… let’s see… at last count he was down to about three billion. Hell of a negotiator. He ‘negotiated’ it all away in compromise scheme after scheme, playing footsie with people whose stated purpose would forever destroy the United States of America as we know it.

Now we have the weak-kneed Ivy League Republicrats whimpering that we ‘can’t possibly’ be serious about not raising the debt limit… buying into, and repeating, the left’s wailing apocalyptic visions of economic collapse if the US debt limit was not raised immediately forthwith.

Do you know what would happen if we didn’t raise the debt limit? Absolutely nothing. The reason is that we have a 2.5 trillion dollar a year income stream…. but both the DeMarxists and their unholy allies in the Republican establishment would just as soon you not know that.

So if the sky is not falling, there is only one reason to want to raise that debt limit… it would simply be another DeMarxist slush fund. Money to pay for their outrageous drunken spending orgies. Which brings up another question. With the country literally on the edge of an economic abyss, why would any Republican even contemplate such an action?

America is in a ‘fish or cut bait’ frame of mind. What that means to Mr Boehner, and all other politicians for that matter, is that America is totally fed up. Republicans should remain cognizant of one thing. It was not through your efforts that you reached the majority… it was the American Patriot movement that swung the country for you. And just in case you think that you have a lock on this thing and that you are the only game in town… remember what happened in 2008 when the disgusted Conservative and Independent voters either left the party or just stayed home in disgust.

My prediction is that if Boehner agrees to lift the debt limit, his tenure will be sharply attenuated. I know there’s a move to leverage a debt ceiling increase against a balanced budget amendment. That will be a very necessary tool for putting the brakes on Congress’s addiction to our money. But, the debt limit remains. Until we face up to the debt issue like adults, the country will remain in recession… or worse.

Incredibly Inept Or Incredibly Wimpy? Who’s Leading Who?

Something just isn’t right with our vaunted Republican leadership… with the exception of a few timid forays into the morass that is the DeMarxist fiscal nightmare… you’d never know that we were being governed by the Conservative juggernaut that caused the greatest political upset in decades.

Somebody ought to tell Mr Boehner that tweeting and twittering isn’t going to get it. You can’t run this thing by remote control. Tweets, twitters, Skypes and other evil sounding names may be okay for the flash dissemination of news and the like. It’s never going to take the place of a principled leadership standing up and calling the Marxists on every single lie, distortion or outright invention out of whole cloth that they utter.

That’s what leadership is about. You don’t allow the opposition to make an issue its own and then sit on your hands and hope it will go away or, like so many establishment Republicans, try to ride it out doing weak and lame-assed damage control.

The reason that the backbone of the American electorate, the Conservative Patriot movements, have been so restive and uncertain is just that. We don’t see a consistent Conservative voice getting our message out and nailing the DeMarxists by calling them out on their lies. There have been flashes of brilliance in an otherwise murky landscape.

Paul Ryan and Eric Cantor seem to be the only Republican leaders in the whole crop who get it. I’m sure there are those out there who feel that I’m painting these guys with too wide a brush.

I remind you that this is the race of our lifetimes and that in fact it will determine whether or not America shall remain a free country of free people.

The Republican Squeeze: “The Debt Ceiling, Can We Fool Them Again?”

I sincerely hope that’s not what’s going on, but hope is a thin thread on which to hang the survival of our representative republican form of government. Uh, to those brain-lesioned ‘progressives’ out there… we do not, as the Lame Stream Press is so fond of stating, live in a democracy. True democracies are nut houses… a little like the current administration. But then, the DeMarxist party has been a squirrel cage for a long time.

It took a national malaise, coupled by an almost historical disregard of facts by adults in this nation who should have known better, to bring us to this pass in which our nation at present finds itself.

With regard to the issue of the debt ceiling. I’m of the firm belief that this is where we have to make our stand. Either this leadership, this Republican Congress, recognizes that we simply cannot do it, we can’t spend more!, or else…

Boehner’s bold statement saying that we won’t allow one dollar in spending without a dollar in spending cuts… What!? Uh, John. Don’t you think that’s a little ‘harsh’? After all, we’re only in the hole by 14 or 15 trillion dollars. Good gravy! What the hell does it take to get through to these knotheads?

And now… wait until you hear this… Mitch McConnell, arch RINO, is calling for la grande accorde. “Why, it’s time for both sides to come together in the ‘great deal’.” Why do I sense McCain in this too… Or maybe he’s too busy pushing illegal alien amnesty.

I don’t know about you, but somehow I don’t see such a liaison as a happy ending for us… the American patriot, citizen and taxpayer. I, for one, am sick to death of their stupid games. One can only assume they haven’t gotten the message.

We get a wide variety of comments here, some from quite surprising sources. I’m not in the poll or prediction business, but we do get a pretty good feel for the mood of the country on issues. I’m here to tell you that nothing has changed. The anger is still boiling just below the surface… and the undeniable truth is in front of each and every citizen’s nose every time they have to buy gas or go to the grocery store. Every time I see a one dollar and sixty cent item selling for close to four dollars, I think of who and what is responsible… and I’m not alone.

This 2012 election is ours to lose. What really scares me is that the Republicans are plenty stupid enough to lose it for us.

Disgusting Display: Obamao’s Manifesto… MarxMarxMarx, And Then Some More Marx.

Is there anyone out there that has yet to understand that Barack Hussein Obama, and his radical twisted ideology, is the figurehead of the planned destruction of America? Obama’s speech was one long demagogic rant in which he trotted out all the Marxist saws… it was Saul Alinsky, William Ayers, Frank Marshall Davis and Jeremiah Wright… all over the place. It was communism’s ugly face exposed for all to see.

But that wasn’t the really sleazy sickening part. That came later in the speech when he went down the Marxist wish-list of dependent entitlement recipients, from seniors to autistic and developmentally disabled kids, and everything and everybody in between. It was low… very low.

Watching the news cycles, and reading as many of your comments on the subject as I could get to, has me convinced that the vast majority of Americans haven’t bought it and are not buying it now. His attacks on Paul Ryan and other conservatives was not at all well received out here in the hinterland, and was highly reminiscent of Obama’s excoriation of members of the Supreme Court at his first State of the Union blather. I’d love to see Hizzoner try to debate Paul Ryan.

For the life of me, I never did understand this BS about Hussein the First being some great orator… I think he sucks. He’s got the cadence of a high school cheerleader… must come from having to spend all that time swiveling that lying neck of his back and forth between teleprompters. The problem with that technique is it forces you to deliver in what are stanza-like sentences, and after you’ve heard one you’ve heard them all. That’s why Biden can’t stay awake during one of his glorious leader’s agitprop spiels… and didn’t ol’ ‘Jumpin’ Joe’ do it once before during an Obama slumberfest?

Obama intends to cut nothing!. His smoke and mirrors are just far worse than the pathetic attempt to pull the nation’s wool over its eyes by Mr. John Boehner and the establishment Republicans. Hey, John! We know how to research John… apparently better than anyone on your staff anyway. We can not go on this way… Boehner sold us out, plain and simple. His whining is getting on my nerves.

We have to defeat Obama and the Marxists. There is no alternative. But, I’m not sure we can afford Mr Boehner. He’s going to sell us out on the debt limit. Get on the phone or computer… barrage the Capitol switchboards and crash their computers. We need to tell them straight up that we will primary them.

Trump… The Patriot Favorite?

There’s one thing for sure… the Tea Party patriots are responding to what Donald Trump is saying in a big way. Trump is feisty, decisive, not a bit afraid of a fight, and extremely knowledgeable about money. And that’s what it’s all about. A total political outsider who tells it like it is and is well aware of the nature of the crisis we’re in.

So what’s the appeal Donald has for the Patriot Movement? It’s not difficult to figure out. All you have to do is look at the prevaricating hogwash we’re getting out of our leadership, as they twist figures and play with numbers in order to convince us they’ve actually done something great. I’ve looked at the numbers again and again… they don’t add up for me any more than they do for any of you. The only place in the world this kind of mathematics make sense is in Washville.

The Patriots are looking at the gentle machinations of our timid leadership… and the rotten sellout deal that they acceded to. Now, as has been pointed out by numerous conservative pundits, Boehner has given up his only real bargaining issue, government shutdown. And by caving in, bleating to his restive conservative membership that we have to compromise because we can’t get it all, he has just turned the high ground on the issue over to Barack Hussein Obama.

The membership doesn’t like it very much either… at least, the membership that knows why they were sent to Congress. Apparently, Boehner has had a memory lapse. I’m not the only one who noticed.

US Rep. Steve Southerland (R-Florida) said that he was going to force deeper cuts and ‘hold Boehner accountable for the promises he made to the American people’. Outstanding! That’s what the American People are looking for. Strong no-nonsense leadership that doesn’t doesn’t cave at the first threat of some liberal going hysterical about not having enough money to kill more babies.

That’s what the appeal is regarding Mr Donald Trump. Americans know he’s not afraid of a fight and won’t back down.
So, as we go into the the most critical fight of all, forcing the leadership not to increase the debt ceiling, we need to pull out all the stops.
Call, write, fax, email as many of your Republican Congress members as you can, and keep calling.

Mea Culpa… Alright Already.

One thing’s for sure, any time I drift off the reservation our readers are going to let us know about it. I’ve gone back and forth on this budget thing so much I’m beginning to feel like a yo-yo (grin). My somewhat (I thought) reserved approval of the Republican budget agreement and our House Majority Leader John Boehner drew a lot of heat very quickly, and once again caused me to stop and re-evaluate my position. That’s the value of a really well-read and savvy readership.

"I believe voters are asking us to set our sights higher," Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, said of the budget deal.

Then, as I was tending my scorched fingers, I tuned into Mark Levin… and got my eardrums blown off. Mark was on a tear. He totally excoriated Boehner and the budget deal and laid it out in detail. He re-framed my perspective on the whole thing, and so I guess I’ve gone from the skeptical hopeful column back into the skeptical suspicious column. This should teach me to trust my instincts for this stuff… my first response to any situation is usually the correct one.

Mark made the point that it was a cave… that the Republicans should have held their ground and forced Obama to shut down the government. Instead we have, as Mark said, John Boehner, who just last October said that he promised he would cut 100 billion from the budget. That 100 billion went to 71 billion, which then went to 40 billion… and we ended up with 38 billion. Also, as Mark pointed out, “Budget?, what budget? There isn’t one, remember?” And he’s right… there isn’t one. There hasn’t been one since 2009.

The DeMarxists are deathly afraid of presenting their bloated and obscene caricature of governance before the American people… their crimes against the people exposed for all to see. So they’ve kicked the can down the road, as they have done on virtually every critical issue that they did not destroy outright.

Now we are faced with having to go into the fight of our lives with the timid Mr Boehner at the helm, when the DeMarxists have already taken his measure and found him weak. How in hell is he going to be able to face them down when he’s already caved in? That’s like saying I’m going to face up to the town bully… next week.

It looks like it’s going to be tar, pitch and pitchfork time soon folks… oh, and don’t forget the feathers.

So, Where Do We Go From Here?

We’ve been reading comments about the barely avoided government shutdown that run the gamut of human emotion…from ‘shut it down!’ (from which school of thought I have only recently moved) to high praise for John Boehner’s strategy and everything in between. Certainly, the result so far has been fortuitous… Barack the First is trotting out his own ‘heavy, serious cuts’ next week. That’s a hoot… it’s the best indication that they’ve been stung pretty good.

Aside from the usual diatribes, the left has been reduced to dragging out the ‘right to choose’ bunch again, along with a sudden concern for the ‘children’ and education… and let us not forget granddad eating dog food. The far more likely scenario would be granddad freezing to death because he cannot afford heating oil or gas, because Barack Hussein has made damn sure we’re totally dependent on foreign countries for our energy. Most of those countries love to see us weak and indecisive… which is the sum total of Obama’s foreign policy.

Next, Boehner’s going to have to sell the debt ceiling increase to the American people. It’s going to be a very hard sell. Regardless of Boehner’s motivation for it, the fact remains that if the debt ceiling is not raised we do risk the federal government going into default, which could launch a world wide depression aside from the economic devastation it would cause here. Hopefully, that wouldn’t be the case. But Boehner can’t take that chance… none of us can.

Still, how to balance all the forces in play? He knows that he has to satisfy the coalition of the Patriot Movement and that magic 20% figure that are the independents, who so far have evinced their disgust with the DeMarxist agenda by going over wholesale to the Tea Party. In order to pull this off, thereby saving his own hide, Boehner is going to have to cut deep and often. He’s going to be forced to move forward as much of Paul Ryan’s proposal as he can in order to hold on the Patriot movement.

No, I’m still not completely sold on Boehner. But you have got to admire some of the maneuvering he did to pull this off.

A Second Look At The So Called Budget Deal.

No, I haven’t had an epiphany regarding our leadership. We want to trust them and we want to believe what they say. It’s just that we’ve been led down the primrose path before, so we’d have to be certifiably nuts not to be a little bit skeptical.

I was listening to Larry Kudlow, who caught my attention with a different take on John Boehner and his leadership. He’s quite impressed with what Boehner has accomplished, pointing out that the 38 billion dollars are cuts to the base line budget. That translates to some 500 billion dollars in budget reductions over the next ten years. It sets the spending back to pre-2008 levels. That is hugely important. But it’s only part of the story.

The DeMarxists, Harry Reid, Barack Hussein Obama et al, got it put to them. They got their clocks cleaned. Not only that, but it set the stage for the battle over Paul Ryan’s budget proposal later on this month. You’ll never see it on network TV, or PBS and the liberal print media. It was actually fun to watch… Obama and Reid placed all their eggs in the basket when they banked on the Republicans taking it on the chin for shutting down the government once again. It was also fun watching the Lame Stream Media decry a few tourists who may be discomfited by our national monuments being closed. It was a tawdry exercise in yellow journalism, but no more than we’ve come to expect from the LSM.

There was a lot of speculation among Patriot friends of mine about just how gun-shy Boehner and the Republican establishment were going to be over an impending ‘government shutdown’. They got their noses bloodied the last time they allowed the DeMarxists to control the issue and paint the Republicans as heartless baby killers. Ironic, since the DeMarxists are themselves directly responsible for the murders of millions of unborn and near-born children, many of them black babies.

Boehner didn’t flinch. It’s no secret that I’ve been critical of John Boehner’s leadership. It’s also true that I’m impressed with his handling of the situation. He was determined, did not waver, earned the respect of his membership, and managed to give the DeMarxists a bloody nose in the process. He also managed to keep Obama and Reid from whacking military spending… which they clearly stated was their intention.

All in all, I have to give the Republican leadership high marks on this one. It is but the first of many battles to come, and we Patriots cannot take our eyes off of government for a second. Don’t underestimate the amount of weight we can swing on these issues. The Patriot Movement is here to stay, and we are a huge political force to be reckoned with.

We Are A Nation In Denial.

Maybe it’s something that they’ve been slipping into the water… maybe it’s in those cross-hatched contrails we keep seeing… but that’s a conspiracy theory for another day. I hear a lot of blather about how the the Tea Party Patriot movement has fired its bolt and may now retire to the obscurity that the lame stream media has been working so diligently to convince us is our lot. They’re going to be sorely disappointed.

What I see going on out here, now that I’m able to fully return my attention to the tapestry of world events, is an extremely active and motivated Patriot Movement. And what most of us are focused on is the really miserable mess in our nation’s Capitol. There’s a lot of disappointment out there… it’s discontent bordering on anger and, in some cases, it’s just outright anger.

If the Republican establishment leadership thinks it can survive, much less succeed, without the full support of the American Patriot Movement they’d better have another think. What’s really funny (or sad, depending on your outlook), is that these people have fairly convinced themselves that it was their brilliant strategic grasp of the mood of the nation that swept them to victory.

Boehner, Cantor, McCarthy and the others were given a sacred trust from well over 60% of the voters of this country. That trust came with a mandate to go to war on the deficit and the Marxist policies that are threatening to destroy our civil society. Many, if not most of us in the Patriot Movement, have been more than a little upset at the leadership’s apparent inability to frame the argument through the white noise of the left’s continual cries of Republicans wanting to force Grannie to eat dog food if we do anything at all to stem the economic disaster waiting in the hall. Let them. The American people have them figured out.

If this country is to survive we are going to have to change the ways in which we define the perils which this country faces. We are in the grip of a world conflict and we cannot even get our government to acknowledge that simple fact in spite of overwhelming evidence.

Absence of definition is the breeding ground of denial. It’s time to start calling things as they are, and stop pecking around the issues like a bunch of nervous hens.

And While I Was Gone…

The world didn’t become a better place. Our absolutely dyspepsic middle eastern policy has just about everybody shaking their heads. Now, the morons want to arm the Libyan rebels so that our guys and gals over there can get our own stuff fired back at us.

‘Her Thighness’, Hillary Clinton, has been rocketing from capital to capital, braying the administration’s next change of course, change of mind, or the next whimsical pronouncement of the ‘Anointed One’, arguably the least influential person on the international scene. Notice I didn’t use the word ‘leader’.

Speaking of leadership, I’ve been watching the antics of the Republican leadership with increasing unease, bordering on anger. They still don’t get it. They had thousands of Tea Party Patriots demonstrating outside Congress and they still don’t get it.

Allow me to lay this out for you establishment Republicans once again… one point seven trillion dollars in deficit this year alone. And now these brave, brave men have the unmitigated temerity to come to the taxpaying patriots of this country with a heroic sixty billion dollars in deficit spending cuts. Words fail me…

The Marxists, in the form of Harry Reid and Upchucky Schumer, are trumpeting that our Republican intransigence will result in a government shutdown. Oh, No! Lions and tigers and bears… Oh, my! This is what has Boehner quaking? Bleating that we’re only 1/2 of 1/3 of the government? This is why he and the rest of the so-called ‘leaders’ that we, you and I, worked hard and skillfully to get elected, have the nerve to say to us that they cannot do the job that we sent them to Washington to do because it may cause a government shutdown!
Shut that sucker down!

What if we shut down the government and nothing happened? Because that’s exactly what would occur. All essential services would still function. The only ones who would be discomfited would be politicians, bureaucrats and parasitic government types in their hundreds of thousands… and that’s a good thing.

I see that Repubic Scott Brown opened his mouth and labeled himself as the new primo RINO in the Senate. I’m sure McCain must be jealous. Mr Brown labeled the insignificant sixty billion dollars in proposed cuts as ‘irresponsible’. One has to wonder… has this man, who we judged to be fairly intelligent, any grasp on reality?

What slays me is that you can hear these various Republicans on the conservative radio talk circuits and they all sound like bold deficit hawks, and reiterate that they know who put them in office and with what mandate. Yet all we get out of the House leadership are these lame squeeks and bleats about why we can’t do something.
Fellow Patriots, I sense another change wind blowing…

Post Script: To those of you who followed my son’s recent illness… we brought him home (he had a drug -resistant pneumonia that almost killed him) and with a few weeks’ rest he should be fine.
Why in the world would any sane person want to trade the most magnificent medical system in the world for Osama… whoops, slip of the keyboard, Obamacare? Think about it.

To Primary Or Not To Primary.

It should be apparent to even the mildest-mannered, laid-back conservative that things just aren’t working the way they should if we had Congressional leadership.

John Boehner at CPAC, February 10th, 2011.

What do I mean? We have outstanding leadership, don’t we? Well, we thought we did anyway. I’ve been wary of John Boehner since he was on the campaign trail. He made all the right conservative noises, but he’s turning out to be a cap pistol instead of a cannon.

The cowardly bunch is literally afraid of its own shadow. If the Republican leadership can’t hack it, let the new young conservatives take over. They’ve already shown a willingness to buck the establishment leadership, a surprising but welcome indication that we, at least, had chosen well.

It’s our own fault. We’re being victimized by our own success. We swept our candidates into office wholesale… and re-established the power of the old guard leadership.

It’s no secret that the Tea Party conservatives we worked so hard to put in place are also frustrated and disappointed with the party leadership’s timidity on just about any matter you can think of… the latest and most egregious being the issue of the continuing resolutions. While we’re playing around with two and three week extensions, part of the monies being authorized are going to fund Obamacare.

The bill has an unknown number of hidden triggers and preset spending authorizations for a plethora of as yet unnamed, unelected and untouchable boards and commissions. While we’re playing at reducing the deficit, this monstrosity is embedding itself and spreading like gangrene, like a slow poison… that’s why it needs to be stopped now.

Watching our Republican leadership reverting to their old ways is disappointing, for sure. I had that sinking feeling that I got when I realized that George Bush was not going to rein in his government or his Congress… that what we had was, in fact, a big government Republican who had made distinctly conservative noises during the election campaign, only to revert to type later.

Mark Levin has called for one of his really effective ‘surges’, where he has his audience call House and Senate members… and keep calling, letting them know how very disappointed we are in the timid, tentative approach of the so-called ‘old-bulls’ of the party. We’re faced with a 14 trillion dollar debt. Several trillion upside down this last year alone, and we’re farting around with a sixty or hundred billion dollar proposed reduction? Excuse me for saying, “What!?!”

We’ve got a lot of eager, bright conservative people in Congress and there will be more soon. I think we need to tell the Republican leadership that this is the last chance. Stick with your usual weak, deal-making, accommodating ways and we’re going to primary you.

The Long Reach Of The Patriot Movement.

It’s a feeling in the air… that sense that’s just beyond our consciousness. Freedom is in the air… it’s infectious too… as the left has had reason to regret.

The change from a populace in some sort of perpetual torpor, and already half-way under the spell of Socio-Marxist illusory promises of a miracle society of totally equitable distribution. If history is to be taken as any guide, a greatly diminished quality of life and the resultant misery and poverty that always accompanies such societies.

The impact of the Tea Party Patriots simply cannot be understated. There’s no question that it was the strength and determination of the individual American patriot that made the difference.

There are some really positive early indications that, thanks to the incredibly stupid and inept handling of the Egyptian situation, Barack Hussein Obama has again been seen as an unabashed supporter of a violent jihad group… as a matter of fact, the oldest of all such terrorist groups, the Muslim Brotherhood… from whence sprang Al Qaeda and that old Gaza favorite, Hamas. Once again, our president gets caught with his butt in the wind.

The American Patriot is a stubborn sort… if patient. Yet we, as the vast majority of American citizens, cannot take anything for granted. There’s still a Senate to take back and there’s still Barack Obama to usher into retirement. That’s our focus for now, though we dare not take our eyes off of our own for a split second either. I’ve decided that Boehner is establishment through and through. This dude bears watching.

The entire attitude of the nation has changed. Citizens all over the country are standing up to socialism and fascism, in halls of their own state houses and in their communities. There are even some sparks of freedom being seen in benighted states like California.

There’s a wonderful rebellion going on in Northern California over these so-called ‘smart meters’ being pushed by the power suppliers, backed by the rabid environmentalists embedded in the state government. The power company has been acting as though on a mandate, violating property rights blatantly and as a matter of course to force the installation of these meters. Those who refuse are threatened with the cessation of their power.

Good on you, guys! Keep it up and we are in your court. I loathe tyranny in any form, whether by a government or a public utility.
