The Very Thin Red Line.

Barack MaoBama is standing on Israel’s last nerve. Having abrased his way through all the goodwill the Israelis can muster, he’s really barking up the wrong tree. The Israelis, unlike our Mr Obama, are not deluded by anything this worst president in American history, or his lackeys, have to say. Stark realism is always at the root of the Israeli soul. It’s been deeply ingrained in them by centuries of pogroms suffered during the long diaspora, culminating in the ovens of Auschwitz, Chelmno, Belzec… or any of the names which are associated with the holocaust.

MaoBama has read the Israelis wrong from day one. Have you noticed any of the pics of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with the Anointed One? Netanyahu doesn’t take his eyes off of Obama for a split second. His gimlet-like stare is like somebody watching a venomous snake in the grass around camp. This is the face of a man who has seen the real Obama and is not impressed. Benjamin Netanyahu knows exactly who and what Barack Hussein is.

He also knows what we of the American Tea Party Patriots have known all along. MaoBama is a pathological sociopath, a man with a fractured past and not one shred of conscience. The Israeli prime minister realizes that his country is alone in facing an increasingly bellicose and dangerous Iran, and her surrogates throughout the region.

That Israel has seen this time coming, and has been preparing for it for years, makes the reality no less poignant. The rosiest scenario would be if Israel were to strike and the rest of the western nations would be pulled in by virtue of self-interest, if for no other reason.

Iran is going to have to be defeated… period. Iran’s radical theocratic leadership will not be swayed from their course of war, conquest and death. I’m not sure what it is about the occidental mind that can not grasp the simple concept that, to Islam and Moslems, we are the antithesis of everything the ‘Death Cult’ espouses with such barbaric savagery. You won’t get them to play nice… Ask MaoBama.

Yes, it’s a Thin Red Line. “Never again” and “Never forget” are deeply ingrained in the soul of every Israeli. Remember the determination on Benjamin Netanyahu’s face, as he confronted the Anointed One’s lackey State Department clown? Israel will attack Iran, and soon.
The only thing I can think of to say is ‘Godspeed’.

Article In Search Of A Title.

It’s not that I don’t have ideas for article titles. There’s certainly no dearth of material out there. Which, in part, brings me to the subject, which is that it doesn’t matter where I look, nationally, locally, or globally, events scream for attention. I want to fire off articles on each and every one of them.

We are living in very perilous times… far more perilous than most people realize. There is the imminent threat of war in the middle east. Despite Obama the Betrayer doing his very best to prevent Israel from acting in its own best interest (read ‘survival’) by attacking the country whose sworn goal is the destruction of Israel and the murder of every man, woman and child. Iran must be stopped. There’s no equivocating it. We know that Barack MaoBama, despite all the tough words around his mouth, does not have the courage or the leadership to attack Iran and end her nuclear ambitions. In fact, many feel that Obama would rather see Israel destroyed. Perhaps, so does Israel. And no, they won’t give us or anyone else warning.

Could you imagine entrusting the jihadist-penetrated White House with Israeli state secrets? Or the increasingly politicized panty-waist chair-warmers at Obama’s Pentagon? Obama recently reversed his order that denied Israeli access to in-flight refueling. It wasn’t for his love of Israel, you may rest assured. It may, however, give him an excuse to piggyback his way into the Iran affair and come riding in behind the truly massive US firepower concentrated in the Mediterranean off of Iran and the US troops reported to be staging in the area. He will then be able to boast  once again, taking credit for the efforts of others as he has so often done.

This nation has never been in as much real danger as it now finds itself. We’re in a daily war for the soul of our county against forces who would see us enslaved and our country in everlasting darkness. Sounds almost apocalyptic, doesn’t it? Historians are fond of citing stories of world-altering events. It’s what we would call 20-20 hindsight. It’s much scarier and more vivid when we’re living these events. It’s easy to imagine the fear and unease that must have permeated the lives of those living in Europe in the years just prior to World War 2.

There’s plenty of unease to go around here, in our country. We have a government in power whose only goal is the destruction of our way of life… with the unholy alliance between the avowed Marxists of Barack Hussein Obama’s government, the craven, unprincipled symbionts of the so-called main stream media, and the equally unprincipled labor unions to which Obama is beholden.

We have an ’economic recovery’ which is not. Academic theoreticians lauding fractional increases in unemployment and meaningless statistical nonsense while 44 million Americans have either dropped off the unemployment radar or are underemployed. American business is reeling from the absolute onslaught of Barack Maobama’s extra-constitutional regulatory oppression. Our energy sector and our military are equally under assault by our would-be dictator. Pretty grim picture, is it not?

We, as Americans, have the power to change this. Our focus, our only focus, has to be the defeat of the Obama Marxist machine.

Just Possibly The Most Crucial Year In Modern History.

It’s the year most of the country has been waiting for. Ever since it realized it had elected a monster president and a ravenous horde of Marxists intent on institutionalizing European style (or worse) socialism in this country. It’s highly probable that 2012 will be one of those ‘pivotal’ years that historians glory over… after the fact. Problem with that is that we are the facts. And 2012 is a slate yet to be written on.

The world is an increasingly dangerous place and, under President Barack Hussein Obama, even more so for America. This is a man who identifies more with the stated enemies of this Republic than with American citizens.

Those who read my columns will remember that in my business one can put in an outrageous number of hours, which can result in precluding my writing. No, it’s not because I can’t write when I’m dog tired. It’s more because I don’t have time to do the requisite research.

Dee, the very efficient editor of this little shooting match, can’t do it for me. She is just about maxed out too… which would explain why we haven’t seen an article from her in a while. She’s a pretty good writer in her own right.

Regular readers will remember my (former) IDF buddy, Jackie. He just returned from a couple of weeks in Israel. We both work for the same company and I was talking to him out of earshot of any staff. We were talking about Israel. So, you say, what’s the big deal? You’ve talked to him before. Prying information out of Jackie is like trying to open a giant clam with a pair of chopsticks. We’ve both watched the Iran/Middle East crisis develop with not a little trepidation. He, because Israel is his home of origin (he has family there). Me, because I’ve been fascinated by history and the events that shaped history. A life-long avocation that has taught me that history, in many ways, does repeat itself.

As Iran wraps up ten days of military exercises, Israel launches a surprise naval exercise off Haifa.

During our various conversations, one overriding theme developed. As a matter of policy, Israel does not wish to be the first to start a conflict. It’s also a stated policy that it will not permit the destruction of the State of Israel. Jackie told me that the stuff can hit the fan any time now. But he’s worried. There are, he said, tens of tens of thousands of missiles, rockets and mortars that, if all-out war erupts in the Middle East which now seems inevitable, will blast Israel, taxing her defenses to the limit. It could make the London blitz look like a Sunday School picnic.

Jackie says it’s going to be very nasty. This, coming from a bona fide combat veteran of two of Israel’s wars. He cites advanced electronics, training and weaponry being supplied to Iran, Syria and others by China, Russia and North Korea. War in the Middle East will be a game changer. America has had three years to observe and judge Barack Hussein’s hatred of Jews and his obvious antisemitism. He’s certainly flaunted it enough over the last three years. The hitch there is that a very aware America has been watching, and waiting, for 2012. America is on the move.

The new media is attracting new viewers, listeners and readers in droves. The Lame Stream Press is reeling from numbers that should be an embarrassment if it were not infected by blindness, caused by ideological fervor on behalf of its leftist masters.
It’s 2012 and America is on the march.

Meanwhile, At Ground Zero…

It’s been a while since we’ve written about our Israeli friends. It’s certainly not from a lack of interest on our part. We’ve had our plate rather full here at home. Our own war here, against the forces of evil that are threatening to overwhelm our Republic, has kept our attention pretty much on the national scene and the dire necessity of removing Barack MaoBama and his minions from office in 2012.

Benjamin Netanyahu (center) meets with Lt. General Benny Gantz (left)

If you want to see Barack Obama’s America one only has to go near downtown Oakland… if you can stand the smell, that is. Or San Francisco… or Atlanta. This is Obama’s constituency… these cretinous, odiferous parasites condemning financial institutions for doing exactly what a Democrat government mandated them to do in the first place. Remember the Community Reinvestment Act? It’s going to loom very large in the months ahead, as are the crooked politicians who fostered this abomination.

Israel is preparing for war. The spooky part is that they’re telegraphing it. This sets up all sorts of interesting speculation. I’m firmly convinced that in the coming war with the evils of worldwide Islamic radicalism, it is going to be the raw courage and determination of this tiny bastion of freedom that will stiffen the spine of the West. It’s an indisputable fact that that linguine-spined bunch in Washington can use all the backbone stiffening they can get… and they’d better get some soon.

Iran, having tested young Barry and having found him not only weak but pathetically easy, is pushing ahead on all fronts. According to some intelligence sources, Iran may already have a device. According to others, they already have enough enriched bomb-grade material to manufacture four devices. Regardless, it all means the same to Israel.

I have close Israeli friends, one of whom I’ve written about in this column before….He fought in two of Israel’s wars as a tank commander and has had the very dubious distinction of having two tanks shot out from under him… and lived to talk about it. My friend has close ties in Israel and every time I’ve mentioned to him that Israel has to make a move against Iran and her surrogates soon, he’s equivocated his answers… until now. He told me this week it’s very close. Now, I’m not saying that my friend is privy to Israeli war councils… but he has friends who have friends.

It’s a sad commentary on Barack Hussein Obama’s America when the British and even the French have committed to Israel’s defense, while Barack Obama does everything in his and his government’s power to strengthen Israel’s enemies.

More Razzle Dazzle From The Clown-In-Chief.

It would seem that the country has seen and heard every single falsehood that Obama and the DeMarxists have foisted on the American people. If there was ever an address that underwhelmed the public purview of Barack Hussein’s pitch for ‘balance’ and more taxes against the ‘rich’, this was it.

The top 10% of earners pay 70% of the taxes in this country to start with. If you confiscated every dime of the wealthiest people in this nation it would scarcely run the Federal Government for more than about ninety days. I’ve never gotten a job from a poor person. So, then, it stands to reason that Obama is determined to to forever destroy the job creators in our country.

Never in my lifetime, and very possibly in the history of this country, have we seen someone who is so wrong in so many different ways. If Mr Hussein was a private citizen it wouldn’t make a hoot or holler of difference. We all know incorrigible knotheads… people for whom abject ignorance is a virtue. But they’re not the President of the United States.

There’s a lead picture on ‘Drudge’, showing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Barry Obama at a meeting earlier today. Pull it up and check it out for yourselves. Obama looks like a man at the end of his rope. He’s presiding over a completely failed and ineffectual foreign policy with the sole purpose, as far as I can determine, of isolating the State of Israel, and doing everything in his power to advance the aims of the people who would see Israel in flames.

Consider his constant appeasement of Iran, probably the single greatest threat to Israel and to our own national security. There is no explanation for Obama’s apparent indifference to Iran’s acquisition of nuclear weapons and long-range delivery systems. No explanation, that is, unless you consider all of Obama’s overtures to the Arab world.

From literally prostrating himself in front of every two-bit, third world thug to overseeing the infiltration of the highest levels of our own government with Muslims proven to have direct connections to terrorist Islamic organizations. In blunt language, it reeks of treason.

I subscribe to Mark Levin’s take on our Mr. Obama. He’s a failed president on every level… but a very competent, inflexible ideologue which makes the whole picture far more sinister.

Why the Repubics have been loath to take this man on every time he opens his lying mouth, which is every time he opens his mouth, is beyond me… which is, of course, why many of our unesteemed RINO moderates will no longer be with us this next election cycle.

The question that keeps lingering in the back of my mind is that we know that Hussein is a dedicated Marxist. We also know that his Islamic background would give fits to any competent security operative. So while Obama plays the race card, followed by the class warfare card, followed by the immigration card ad infinitum, and blatantly follows failed policy by failed policy… the world watches and waits.

Iran marches closer and closer towards the ‘Islamic Bomb’ and the inevitable destruction of our only true ally in that entire part of the world. In essence, with Obama fiddling while Rome burns, Israel is being forced into a very short list of options.

Israel will attack Iran rather than allow them the bomb, regardless of what Hillary, Barack or Washington says. They will have to go it alone, since the treacherous Obama has refused the Israeli Air Force landing or fly-over support for her tankers. This would almost certainly mean a one-way suicide mission for some of the finest combat pilots in the world.

If Israel was put in this position I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if they make damn sure that Iran and Syria would be turned into slag heaps. Without Iranian support, most of the terrorist states would dry up and blow away.
Obama has so much to answer for.

Hear O Israel.

Well, if you won’t listen to me, maybe you’ll listen to him. No disrespect intended, but it seems that Israel is in for another border invasion, and this one reportedly has between 300 and 500 busloads of Lebanese and Palestinians being moved to the borders… to say nothing of large numbers of others heading in the direction of the borders, as well. Not being one to say ‘I told you so’… I did note at the time of the article I wrote on Friday May 20, that it had all the hallmarks of a rehearsal.

"We are preparing on all possible fronts and we will position both command and troops at forward positions," IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz said ahead of upcoming Naksa Day border protests.

Now the Iranians, in the guise of the Muslim Brotherhood, are going to test the IDF to the max. The so-called ‘Nakba Day’ protests were something only an Arab could dream up. Commemorating a battle in which the collective armies of the Arab nations got the horse pucky kicked out of them by a tiny, almost insignificant, country would seem to the western mind to be a waste of time.

To the Arab mind, steeped in seventh century barbarity and fostered in a cult-like religion where fanaticism, sadism and brutality are everyday occurrences, the constant reminder serves to foster their rage, which is never far from the surface at the best of times.

They are going to attempt to cross in overwhelming numbers on four fronts. Sounds very much like an invasion, doesn’t it? The IDF had better hope there’s not a couple of regiments of tanks behind them.

I don’t mean to sound alarmist, and some of my Israeli friends will probably scoff at me, but I know at least one who doesn’t think it’s so crazy.
Wars have been launched with less pretext.

Obama’s Humiliating Repudiation: Bibi Takes Him To The Woodshed.

It was classic… Obama trying what appears to me to be a last-ditch desperation grasp at ‘shaping’ the middle-east ‘peace process’ and leaving behind the imprimatur of an insanely dysfunctional foreign policy, in which Hussein Obama sheds any vestige of disguising his Muslim leanings by throwing Israel, our strongest ally in the middle-east, under the bus.

Obama, the spoon-fed academic Marxist, has no sense of history, or geo-political reality for that matter. Apparently, neither do the Marxist savants he has shaping his policies. The very fact that his ‘advisers’ allowed him to call for Israel to fall back to the pre-1967 war boundaries is… well… stunning in its naivete.

The blithe, arrogant assumption that the world would tremble at the sage words of the Anointed One, and that the Israelis would finally see their place in Obama’s Jew-hating universe, is breathtaking to see.

Barack Hussein has no real world experience to bring to the table. He isn’t equipped with much of anything else, either. In point of fact, he is without a doubt the most ill-equipped president in all of US history to deal with virtually any issue.

Binyamin Netanyahu, or ‘Bibi’, is everything Obama is not. He took Obama to the woodshed, simultaneously giving His Magnificence and his factually challenged government a badly needed perspective on middle-eastern history, and shredding Obama’s entire policy presumption in one smoothly delivered, concisely worded repudiation of all things Obama. In fact, he made Barack Hussein Obama look exactly like the lightweight he is. I’m having fun watching the Lame Stream Demarxist press trying to spin this as anything but the humiliating rejection that it was.

Israel is a tiny country, with a population of only 7million, 4 hundred something thousand souls, surrounded by 344 million largely hostile Arabs. She can’t afford a mistake. There is something that her militant Islamic foes should consider… Israel has had the capability to reduce her enemies to atomic slag since the late 1950s. They also have multiple delivery systems and an effective second strike capability.

The very fact that Israel has not used this ‘final solution’ to the Islamic threat to their country should give any sane person pause for reflection. But then, that would presume finding some sanity among middle-eastern fanaticism.

Obama, Ardent Anti-Semite.

If there are any of my Israeli friends who have any vestige of belief that Barack Hussein Obama is harboring any good will at all toward Jews in general, or Israel in particular, Obama’s speech yesterday (if that’s what it could be called) should have ended any such illusions.

IDF soldiers guarding the border with Syria.

Obama’s servile pandering to the Islamic fundamentalists is leaving no doubt about where his true sympathies lie… it’s readily apparent here in the United States where there are Muslims embedded throughout his administration, Muslims infiltrating our educational and financial sectors, universally whining and decrying the ‘unjust’ treatment that they receive at our hands.

Obama just might be able to break the deathlike grip that the DeMarxists, and all things socialist, have had on the electoral habits of America’s Jewry. Obama’s attack on Israel… because that’s what it was… will most certainly draw the ire of the many American supporters of Israel… and that’s about 80% of the country. Hopefully, another nail in Obama’s political coffin. He’s been collecting a lot of those lately.

Stated plainly, Israel would have to be completely out of their collective minds and bent on sure and certain national suicide to agree to a single thing Barack Obama said. He’s not going to get any ‘peace process’ going now or ever. His goal is the goal of the Arab Brotherhood, Hamas and Hezbollah… that is to say, the ultimate destruction of the State of Israel.

Maybe it’s just my Marine instinct peeking through but to me, but the simultaneous incursion across three borders by Islamist ‘protesters’ looked a lot like a rehearsal. What was frankly disturbing was the somewhat fragmented and confused response of the IDF.

Hey guys, it’s like this… if the stuff goes down you may not get a second chance to react. Your enemy has been out in the hallway lifting weights and doing push-ups, while you’ve been playing pat-a-cake with Obama and the Hildebeast over how much defensible border to give away to people who want you dead.

Israel’s New Reality.

Iran is on the march all over the middle east. Its surrogates carefully chosen and in place. Iran spews venom and exports hatred, fear and murder. Iran’s reach is growing. The United States is viewing the detente between the Iranian-Venezuelan governments very closely.

Prime Minister Netanyahu has warned that Iran will turn Egypt into another Gaza. He urged the west to ensure that any new Egyptian leader respects existing peace treaties.

Egypt is still in chaos, though the army is firmly in control and plans to stay that way. Jordan is shaky… King Abdullah has released his cabinet and is forming a new one. The speed with which the unrest has traveled has left world leaders stunned and totally unprepared.

The intemperate and totally out-of-depth Obama administration’s official and unofficial encouragement of the Egyptian demonstrators is sophomoric and dangerous in the extreme. Barack Obama sounded like some petulant teenager with attitude, as he demanded Mubarak step down right now and that Egypt would have democratic elections… presumably presided over by Jimmy Boy Carter, middle east expert extraordinaire.

Our political capital in the entire region is negligible, after the incredibly stupid foreign policy that our boy president and Islamophile, Barack Hussein Obama, has pursued for the last two years. Israel’s options are even fewer now, with another 500 or so miles of border that will become hostile should Egypt and Jordan fall.

It may be that Israel should move on Iran soon. Cut the head from the snake which is fomenting world war.
Hey, Danny! Time to lock and load.

A Watched Pot…

Though in this case it’s boiling, and Israel is watching the rapidly devolving situation right next door in Egypt. They are looking at having to re-evaluate the situation in terms of the worst-case scenario.

Binyamin Netanyahu and Hosni Mubarak, May 2010.

Although nominally enemy states, Israel, Egypt and the United States have cooperated at the highest levels of military command and with the intelligence services of all three countries, and you can bet your boots there’s one heck of a lot of communicating going on right now between all of them.

Hosni Mubarak probably has a better chance of riding this thing out than the Shah of Iran did when faced with Khomeini’s revolution. But if he doesn’t, the generals who now so staunchly support him will give him a gentle nudge into a nice dignified retirement some place, and the country will choose a new president in accordance with its constitution.

Egypt, though a muslim country, is largely a secular nation. How far the radical Islamists will get in influencing events in Egypt is difficult to judge at this point. One thing is for sure… the generals are not about to relinquish power to some revolutionary cabal. Right now, the army holds all the cards. They have, at least to this point, shown remarkable restraint in dealing with the protesters.

Our friends in Israel remember the old days, when they faced an openly hostile Egypt just over the border. No one wants a return to those days, but it’s far better for Israel to remain in an advanced state of readiness than to be unpleasantly surprised.

Meanwhile, Israel’s Stuxnet worm continues to chew its way through Iran’s military industrial complex, happily burrowing down and leaving havoc in its wake.
Bon appetit, little worm!

Brave New World Indeed.

Not one that Huxley would have envisioned… but plenty close enough for most of us, thank you very much! Trying to quantify the challenges facing this nation is a daunting task in itself. Especially with a country still largely in the grip of the greatest recessionary period since the great depression. A populace still raw from the economic collapse of 2007-2008.

I know I’m not alone in saying that these days I think things over several times before spending anything. It’s just become second nature. You’ve heard of the ‘bunker mentality’? Well, we have a ‘bunker’ economy. Despite the reassurance of having a somewhat stable tax picture for the next two years, individuals and most especially companies are intensely careful with expenditures. There is a tendency to hoard resources, an entire nation like squirrels before the first snow.

The economy is showing signs of life. It’s not out of the woods… not yet… not by a long shot. But the stock market has been showing growth… manufacturing is beginning to stir… what manufacturing hasn’t been forced overseas, that is.

We are being invaded through our southern border and we have a federal government which stubbornly refuses to do one of the only constitutionally mandated responsibilities it has. We’re fighting terrorism around the world and we’re fighting two wars.

Our one ally in all of the middle east is herself on the brink of conflict. Israel’s border with Lebanon has become the focal point of tension as Hizbollah continues to solidify its hold over that country. The border on the Lebanon side is said have a series of fortified villages linked by tunnels. They have amassed an astounding 40-50 thousand rockets and missiles.

Everywhere we look there is the potential for conflict. Venezuela’s communist adventuring will have to be dealt with eventually. North Korea continues its bellicose demands and threats. China is the greatest ultimate threat to this country and the one we least understand.

Aldous Huxley wouldn’t recognize our Brave New World.
We, as Americans, have got to keep our eyes on the goal we have set for ourselves and our party… a return to Constitutional law and government… a limited government with less job-stifling regulation on business.

A Fair Exchange?

The new Mossad director, Tamir Pardo, will get his first taste of conflict next month. Not from Iran or any of the Arab countries, not even from the UN. It will come from Britain, most likely in the form of Foreign Secretary William Hague, who, you may remember, quickly condemned Israel over the Mavi Marvara incident before the facts were even known.

Tamir Pardo

London’s ‘Telegraph’ newspaper, which is usually one of the more trustworthy dailies, has reported that Pardo will apologize for the use of British passports in the Mahmoud al-Mabhouh affair, the Hamas official killed in Dubai a year ago. It goes on to say that Pardo will explain that he personally condemned the use of foreign passports before the alleged assassination took place.

I might be wrong on this, but it sure looks like they are trying to make nicey-nicey with the new guy on the block. While they are afraid of an ensuing backlash should they show forgiveness to incumbent Meir Dagan, they have invented a story which absolves the new chief of any blame. The fact is, Tamir Pardo was not active within Mossad at that time.

The British strategy is twofold. Firstly, they could put the passport issue to bed, blaming the previous director while absolving his replacement. Secondly, they could look at re-installing the Mossad station chief who was expelled over the incident.

In Skip’s article of November 26, 2010, ‘What’s With The Brits?’, he questioned the motives of MI6 when they condemned the use of the Stuxnet virus against Iran. Some very strange things are happening within the agency circles these days. Conflicting stories regarding the death of one of its agents, for one thing. It’s understandable that some facts are concealed from the public for security reasons… that’s partly the reason for their existence. But in these post cold-war years, and with their stated intention of becoming ‘more open’, questions must be asked.

It was notable, in the recent reports of the arrests of twelve suspected terrorists in Britain, that the entire operation was conducted by the police, including Scotland Yard’s Anti-Terrorist Unit. So where, then, are MI5 and MI6?

Their main role is that of intelligence gathering, which may explain their apparent absence in news stories covering the arrests of terrorists. Given that Britain is the greatest breeding ground for muslim extremists in the western world, should they not be a little more pro-active? The recent ‘sting’ by the FBI in Portland, Oregon was an example of early prevention, although it was condemned by CAIR as ‘entrapment’. That’s laughable, considering the fact that many of these folks openly shout in the streets about their intentions for America and the west.

Next month’s meeting in London will see the British government trying to play the upper hand. They desperately need the intelligence that can only be provided by Israel. The reinstatement of a Mossad officer in London in exchange for top secrets is not a fair deal. At the very least, Pardo should demand the guarantee of free movement in Britain for Israeli government officials, such as Dan Meridor, without the fear of arrest on trumped-up ‘war crimes’ charges.

Britain is not the clear-cut country of World War Two, when they knew without doubt who the bad guys were… good or bad, friend or enemy. Its subservience to the EU and UN, not to mention its weak-kneed pandering to dangerous elements within its own borders, make it dangerous and a nation not to be trusted. It’s true to form that it is more concerned over faked passports than the hundreds of real UK passports held by terrorists.

A couple of tips from my list of rules before your meeting, Mr Pardo:
Rule #1 – Trust no-one;
Rule #4 – Only tell them what you want them to know.

Israel’s Raging Fires Could Be Our Own.

Happy third day of Hanukkah to my Jewish friends and readers. Those who have followed this column will remember my mention of having friends from Israel who are very closely connected there. I wrote about my friend who was a veteran of two of Israel’s wars and who had the dubious honor of having two different tanks shot out from under him and living to talk about it.

We were talking about the fires in Israel. Two things came out of the brief discussion. One, we both feel certain that the fires are due to arson. But further than that, look at it from the terrorists’ point of view if in fact arson it is. It’s a really low budget, zero technology, low risk hit for the terrorists. It killed over forty Israelis. They may not find it quite as easy to do next time. Israel is wasting no time bulking up on fire fighting equipment and wild lands fire fighting technology.

It’s something we have an awful lot of experience with here in America. I have another friend who is a crew leader on a federal hot-shot fire crew. He was on the same fire in northern California that took the lives of a fire crew… he was one ridge over. He told me that if the wind had shifted the other way it could have been his crew. The Israelis will learn from the best.

Here’s where it gets ugly… and it’s not the first time it’s occurred to me. Low budget (no funds to solicit), no technology required (even the shoe bomber could have done it… well, maybe the panty bomber), low risk. Any idea how many unpopulated wildland / forested square miles in the US? I don’t know either, but it’s a lot.

It’s something we need to consider. There were some fires that got started last year that I was really dubious about. The potential is there, and and it is indeed an area where we are even more vulnerable than Israel because of our extensive forests and wild lands. I can’t speak for all forests but I can speak for the area up in the sierras where I and a friend hold some mining claims. It’s remote, it’s heavily forested with steep slopes to the watercourses. We have to be extraordinarily careful with fire and equipment operation down there. That’s what it’s like in much of our forests, remote… and vulnerable.

I’m not in any way suggesting keeping good people out of our forests. In fact, I’d invite as many good woodsmen as we could find to spend as much time as they could doing what they love. Up in the mountains it’s amazing how much a trained set of eyeballs can see.

What’s With The Brits?

It’s not your grandpa’s MI6. Britain behaves like a defeated nation. The government so fears the muslims in its own population that they would align themselves with those who would see them destroyed.

MI6 Headquarters, London

Stuxnet is raising Cain with not only Iran’s centrifuges but, as I predicted, their military targeting computers as well. It’s no coincidence that there are reports of penetration of Iranian air space during such periods.

I have no idea where Stuxnet was spawned. The implication was that it was done by hackers… I believe that it was a creation of Israel with the aid of the US.

I said that Iranian claims that they had cornered the critter and all was rosy were so much garbage. It turned out that I was right. Stuxnet is the gift that keeps giving… it works by being patient and opportunistic. Then, when it does strike, it spreads like crazy.

Is it possible that Britain can be that badly deceived? As reported, MI6 thinks the Stuxnet worm is national enemy #1. News reports on British television, by so-called ‘experts’, have completely omitted the fact that in every country where the worm has been detected it has been benign… except Iran.

American intelligence would like to see Stuxnet pay a visit to North Korea and her nuclear program. Whether it would be possible to plant the worm, in as tightly-controlled a country as N. Korea, remains to be seen.

Korea or not, I think that Britain should consider her position with regard to Stuxnet, and the real reason for pandering to muslims by the condemnation of the virus with regard to Iran.

What’s More Dangerous Than A Marxist?

Answer: A Marxist with money. Lots of money. Only a few days ago, I spoke of Obama’s fixation with his Blackberry (‘Man Or Machine’, November 7). By sheer coincidence, Glenn Beck mentioned the same thing in his program of November 9. Glenn, however, mentioned a possibility that I had not considered…. something far more sinister than the options I listed.

The program last night was dedicated to the ‘Spooky Dude’ (I love that name, Glenn!), George Soros. Most of us are aware of his activities with the likes of Media Matters, the Huffington Post, the Tides Foundation, etc., but I must admit that I didn’t realize the extent to which his socialist tentacles reach.

As more jigsaw puzzle pieces are added, the picture that takes shape is not a pretty one. While never directly attacking the State of Israel (to my knowledge, at least), his actions, or the actions of those in his debt, speak louder than words.

Some smokescreens are quite see-through, perhaps none as transparent as one of his beneficiaries, J Street. This ‘pro-Israel’ site was proud to endorse Minnesota’s Keith Ellison, a Congressman with more than dubious connections to Hamas supporters.

I had always assumed that Obama’s dislike of Israel was a result of his own upbringing. That could be a factor, one which made him the perfect choice, for someone with almost unlimited finances, to install in the prime position, where he could enact the most radical plans.

For a Nobel Peace Prize winner, Obama does a marvelous job of stirring up hate in the muslim countries. His condemnation of Israel during a speech in Indonesia was nothing more than shameful. Of what relevance is the Israel – Palestine situation to the people he was addressing… other than a shared religion? If he visits Catholic countries in Europe, does he engage in condemnation of the actions of South American countries? I think not, especially Venezuela, for which he has a special fondness.

Barack Obama and George Soros, alike in so many ways. Both dedicated to the destruction of the American way of life, the formation of a new world order, and both selling off the goods of their own suffering people to tyrants.

America, keep a very close eye on this man… he is probably more dangerous than all the Democrats combined.

Shades Of A Bond Thriller.

It’s pretty incredible stuff, more so as hard information coming out of Iran is so fragmented and sketchy. I’m speaking, of course, of the ‘accidental’ explosion at the Imam Ali base, an Iranian Revolutionary Guard’s arms and ammunition depot at a ‘secret’ facility, which had extensive underground storage and launching facilities for the Shahab-3 long-range missile.

Satellite imagery of the area around Imam Ali base.

In fact, practically all of Iran’s inventory of the Shahab-3 was reportedly destroyed when (as the Iranians spun it) a fire got out of control at the base. Other Iranians blamed the Kurds. Kurds?! It must have been one hell of a raid. Just think about it… hundreds of miles through the mountains and desert to attack one of Iran’s most carefully secured military bases. Sure! Tough dudes, those Kurds.

That Israel has been able to penetrate Syrian air space, pretty much at will, is no secret. As far back as Sept. 5, 2007, Israeli fighter-bombers attacked a Syrian nuclear site at the village of Tal Abyadh, destroying it totally. The Israelis returned to base unscathed. The IAF has made numerous incursions into Syria, testing its air defense capability… now more important than ever, especially in view of Russian and Chinese technology being introduced into the theater.

The worm, that wonderful burrowing worm, is still raising hell with Iranian technology. The creators of that worm really attached some legs to that thing, ’cause it’s still runnin’.

The ‘Kurds’ presumably started the fire that ‘somehow’ penetrated a secure launch and storage facility a hundred or so feet below the ground, buried in bedrock and built with reinforced concrete. There were reports of three separate explosions on three levels(?)… that part is unclear. What is clear is that this missile base won’t be launching anything at Israel anytime soon. This sounds like a raid, and it’s got Israeli written all over it. As our friend Drudge would say… developing. While you’re at it, don’t forget the mysterious missiles that struck the Bushehr reactor building. We were told that they were ‘testing’ the plant’s security. Right!

I’m out of the business of predicting when Israel is going to go after Iran. You know, the Israelis know, and I know that, sure as sunrise, they’re going to have to go, probably sooner rather than later. They can’t expect any help from Imam (thanks, Rush) Obama in Washington. Maybe they’re counting on a more friendly Congress come November, that will be able to counter the worst of Barry Hussein’s depredations. That Conservative Republican Congress will most certainly not obstruct the Israelis, should they feel as though they cannot wait any longer for the sake of their national security, and I feel that time is very close. Whatever they do, they cannot accede to Obama’s wishes. There is no two-state solution.

More treachery, lies, and aid and comfort to Israel’s enemies is what can be anticipated with regard to Obama. These events appear to be a softening of anticipated military targets.
I sincerely hope so.

All Is Well. Iran Has Caught Nuclear Spies.

So says the most prestigious Iranian Intelligence apparatus. So, move along, there’s nothing more to see here… all is well.

I’ve always admired the Israeli ability to dissemble, when it comes to secrets. More often than not, the results are all that could be asked for. Israel very seldom tips its hand openly concerning anything, much less national security matters.

I had been aware that the Israeli Defense Forces, the IDF, had been developing some sort of military cyber-warfare capability in conjunction with the US for some time. It makes perfect sense, the two most sophisticated cyber brain trusts in the world team up to make Iran sit up and think about a few things.

I’ve stated several times before, Israel is never going to do what you expect she will. I was surprised, like everyone else, when Israel launched Stuxnet, a burrowing, self-replicating, self-mutating worm, launched specifically at military-industrial control systems. Iran wanted to keep quiet about the worm’s ravages, but was forced to go public and ask for help from the world at large.

Iran’s intelligence service then issues a statement saying, in essence, ‘we’ve caught the bad guys and all is well, there’s no damage’. The truth is that the worm was already well established in some thirty network systems, then it went off… and off… and off. Not only did it replicate itself with lightning speed, it mutated as it went… making stopping it very problematic.

Is this the first round in the drive to take out Iran’s nuclear threat? This is as good a place to start as any. Cyber attack or no cyber attack, Iran still has to be faced. Iran is a mortal threat to Israel and the whole world if not checked.

Our timid President Barack Hussein Obama doesn’t have the gonads for it, that’s if he could ever see his way to making war on his Muslim brothers.
Whoops… did I say that?

Bulking Up – US Fuels Israeli War Machine.

And a thirsty one it is indeed, as they all are. The United States has sold Israel two billion dollars worth of military fuel stocks. That’s about 444 million gallons of JP-8, unleaded and diesel fuel.

Israel’s air force would use prodigious quantities of fuel in an all-out air assault against her enemies that could last for days. The tanks and mobile artillery won’t be slow consuming huge amounts of fuel either. This, right in the face of Barack Obama’s biggest push to neuter Israel, by promising a ‘nuclear shield’ to protect her from her enemies… if she promises not to attack Iran.
Note to our Israeli friends: Barack Hussein’s promises are as empty as his economic policies.

It’s remarkable that the administration that has done everything in its power to prevent the Israelis from defending themselves against the real and present danger that is fundamentalist Iran, is the same one that is supplying the one strategic assurance Israel needed to prosecute a sustained military effort.

Israel’s quick and final solution to the Galant issue pretty much put a stop to the speculation that it was a red herring to distract the Arabs from Israeli war preparations. The US, Germany, France and UK air forces have been training, simulating operations over Iran.

Syria’s armed forces are at their highest alert status. Hamas continues to agitate and Hizballah concentrates forces in Lebanon.
Israel must move soon. We should move with her.

Israel Braces Itself In Face Of Imminent Threat Of Hostilities.

The chatter among the bad guys, Syria, Hizballah in Lebanon, Hamas and the Palestinians and the Islamic Jihad, is all about the high state of preparedness for war.

Maj. Gen. Yoav Galant and Ehud Barak

Israel moved quickly to solve command issues, with Ehud Barak’s nomination of OC Southern Command Major General Yoav Galant to serve as the country’s Chief of Staff in February, when Lt.General Gaby Ashkenazi steps down. A wise and timely move by the Israeli government.

Iran has its surrogates threatening war, as it continues its insane race for more and more weapons and its relentless pursuit of nuclear arms. Iran may be goading its puppets into attacking Israel to bleed the Israelis as much as they can, before Israel launches an assault aimed at crippling Iran’s nuclear weapons program.

When you stop and consider that Hizballah has some forty thousand rockets and missiles hidden just over the border and the length of time they’ve had to fortify strong points inside Lebanon, it makes the prospect of combat there worth serious consideration.

I don’t know how brave the Syrians are. They talk up a great game but they don’t seem particularly eager to go mano a mano with the Israelis. As I recall, the last time the two armies met, the Syrians got fed their lunch. What is more worrisome are the missile batteries that she has concentrated in the border area.

Hamas and the West Bank… there won’t be much change here… Israel will still have to go in and dig them out, only this time the Palestinians will bring out all their toys.
It’s a monumental undertaking that Israel has known was coming for years.

Israel Does Not Need A Command Controversy.

As a matter of fact, it’s about the last thing the country or the IDF needs at this juncture.

The Galant document scandal seems to have centered around a fraudulent document scheme, to influence Defense Minister Ehud Barak in his choice of a new chief of staff to succeed Lt General Gaby Ashkenazi, whose term is ending.

Lt. Gen. Gaby Ashkenazi and Ehud Barak.

Apparently, this document, which has been called a fake, was sent to the Chief of Staff and other high-ranking Israeli officers. Police said they believe that they know who authored the fake document. Police were asking General Ashkenazi why he had been in possession of the document for some weeks before revealing it to police.

The most obvious ramification is that there is contention in the Israeli command structure. At a time when all of Israel’s attention needs to be focused on the real and present dangers that surround it on all sides, this a dangerous sideshow which is diverting time and attention from the nation’s security needs.

Maj. Gen. Yoav Galant

Israel needs to show a strong and united command structure. Israel is surrounded by enemies who look for the slightest sign of weakness or indecision to advance their plans for Israel’s destruction.
The sooner the Israeli Command structure resolves its issues, the better for Israel and for us.
