I think Americans are a sadder but wiser lot. We’ve learned as a people what the guy on the street has known forever – if it sounds too good to be true… it is. We also learned to our dismay that votes and voting really mean something.
We had fallen into the ‘business as usual’ and ‘I can’t do anything about it’ mentality. It took the shock of seeing Barack Hussein Obama come out of nowhere (literally) to win the US Presidency, and immediately start the country on the most purposefully destructive economic pathway of any President since Franklin Roosevelt, to shake the country out of its stupor.
I have long held the belief that Obama has far more than simple politics going on. His several world tours, belittling the United States of America in front of people who shouldn’t be permitted to say the name America. His toadying appeasement. His obvious favoring of Islam over our proven allies… Obama’s actions speak so much louder than words. In his own verbiage: He must have some skin in the game.
The American people are just now waking up to the fact that we don’t have a war on terror. We have a world war against militant Islam. There is no such thing as a ‘moderate Muslim’. There are Muslims who wish for peace, but they are so cowed and traumatized by the radicals that they either go along to get along or they remain silent altogether. There are groups of Muslims worshiping in mosques throughout this country. Most of them have been financed through various Islamic front groups with direct and provable connections to international terrorists.
Islam does not peacefully co-exist with any ethnic group or religion. Islam exists only to dominate, to destroy, to kill. Islam is the group think of the seventh century AD. Islam does not lend itself to the exercise of free will or thought. It never had the intellectual supercharging that came with the reformation of the western faiths. Islam is trapped in its own death cycle… praising death, seeking death, and creating death.
Islam is a different world with an alien mindset. It chooses to war with our world. This is not a war that we can afford to lose. It will be a decades-long struggle against a foe that only understands death… and only death will stop them.
