Barack Obama – Post Partisan? Purgamentum Init, Exit Purgamentum.

Due to other work commitments we have been unable to produce an article today. The article that follows was written by Skip on December 24, 2009. It includes a very accurate prediction!

The Latin word for truth is veritas. It’s something with which Mr Post Partisan has very little intercourse with. There was the truth and it knew him not. A lot of people who should have known better allowed this political relative newcomer to overshadow their usually reliable common sense, so there are plenty of people out there to share the ‘Duh! factor’.

We also saw the hardcore leftist ideology of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid coming down the pike. Still reeling and half in disbelief of what they had allowed to befall themselves through the Republican ‘leadership’, if you can call it that. Still, they thought they had a stake in the game, deluding themselves and us in the process. Laughable given the circumstances.

None of us Conservatives out here have forgotten a single moment of the Bush years. We watched in horror as the Republicrats tried to out-liberal those who were expert at it, and accommodate themselves into losing on issue after issue. Very reminiscent of Barry Hussein’s feckless groveling to his middle-eastern brethren, only to come away with nothing and the DeMarxists getting everything they wanted to start with. Ergo: Bush/Kennedy and that execrecable education bill for example.

We watched Republican after Republican sounding and acting exactly like their counterparts across the aisle, blithely ignoring the mutterings, increasingly vocal and louder protestations of their constituents. The disgust of the Conservative base and the abandonment of the independents who had supported them, walking away in disenchantment, set the stage for the Democratic sweep to power in 2006, also setting the stage for 2008 as the thoroughly appalled base abandoned an increasingly out-of-touch and weak party leadership.

This persisted through the 2008 presidential campaign with the selection of what turned out to be our ‘Bob Dole’, Sen John McCain, who actually never had a marshmallow’s chance in hell of being elected. In fact, the sole product of that campaign being the ‘discovery’ and emergence of one who will be the Conservative Republican Party’s superstar, Sarah Palin… which is why they assault her the way they do… they see what I see… a bright, articulate, conservative woman ‘who gets it’ and connects on every level with the American voter.

This is all well and good, you say? What does all this have to do with the truth and Barack Obama, his administration and the DeMarxist majority in Congress? Politicians lie. Unfortunate though it may be, we’ve come to expect a certain amount of it.

This bunch have taken it to a whole new level and language of lies and deceit. Barack Obama lies through his eyeteeth every time he opens his mouth. So do Pelosi, Reid and every single member of both chambers beholden to this bunch of thieves. They lie, cheat and steal on a grand scale that not even Joseph Goebbels would recognize… and he wrote the book on it.

The unforeseen consequence of this has been the resurgence of the American Patriot… genuine grassroots constitutional patriotism not seen since the days of the ‘greatest generation’. It is a tidal wave which shall sweep these criminally responsible politicians from the American scene in 2010… and correct a historical mistake in 2012.

Keep your faith in your Conservative ideals and the Constitution of this great country. These people are scared and they are about to become even more frightened.

Obama Presidency – Wherefore Art Thou?

We’ve been pretty harsh on our young President. We’ve taken him to task on virtually every word and every item of his agenda… with good reason. Those of us who managed not to be mesmerized by the glitzy rock concert/camp meeting atmosphere that surrounded the unlikely, albeit meteoric, rise of this young first term senator from Illinois were in turn bemused and then alarmed.

We had been looking into what young Mr. Obama had been doing, where he had been and what he had been saying. Critics rightly pointed out that his resume was as thin as a layer of shellac and that the presidency didn’t lend itself to on-the-job training. We Conservatives emphasized that he had no executive experience at all. We were shouted down, called racist rednecks and all of the other labels that the left uses to marginalize opposition opinions. I’ve enumerated all of the reasons Obama won and McCain lost in detail. I’ve also described the state of the electorate, shocked into inaction over the advent of the recession and the BLITZKRIEG of the unholy alliance between Democrat politicians scrambling to cover their dirty tracks behind the banking and sub-prime mortgage crash and their allies and lapdogs of the statist ‘mainstream’ media.

Fast forward to today… Obama has been solidly resisted on everything he has attempted thus far. The American people rose up and said HELL NO! What looked like a cakewalk for the ‘prancing pony’ less than a year ago has become a nightmarish quagmire, reducing the once supremely arrogant Obama and the Democrat majority to confusion and disarray.

Modeling his statist government and it’s grand schemes on European socialism was his fatal flaw. The European states do not have the TRADITIONS of freedom we so cherish. Americans believe strongly enough in our freedoms to send our best and brightest to fight, bleed and die on every continent on Earth. Many countries owe their very existence to us. Once America recognized that Obama’s end game was and is nothing more than a soft tyranny the game was up.



It’s not over. Not nearly so. The Democrat sleazy trick department goes on unabated. On February 25, 2010, Obama will hold his bi-partisan summit on health care. He has ‘commanded’ that the Republicans bring their ideas to ‘improve’ health care. This is an easy one. We should have one stand and one stand only… SCRAP IT AND START OVER! By the way, any Republican that buys into this crap should be removed from office… PERIOD. Democrats may still try the so-called nuclear option though the political consequences could be dramatic.

Look for Obama to try to enact portions of, or all of, health care by Presidential fiat (executive order) if he doesn’t get his way. He would have to know that it would effectively doom his presidency. Is he that much of an ideologue? I guess we’ll find out. Much the same way, the EPA may try to enact cap and trade by regulatory order. Which is reason enough to get rid of this massive unelected bureaucratic empire that is bent on destroying American business and our way of life.
Don’t take your eyes off of these people for a split second.

One Spectacular Blunder After Another.

A lot of idealistic, well-meaning people put everything they had emotionally into the presidency of Barack Hussein Obama. As is now obvious to most, these fine folks have seen their hopes and dreams for the wonderful classless, carefree and colorblind utopia promised by the Anointed One crushed in the iron grip of the realization that he is just not up to the job.

Many, like myself, who were bothered by the sudden ascendancy of a man without credentials or experience, delved deeply into what information we could find about this man. I was stunned at how little information was available and began to wonder who or what was running interference for him. Of course when I vocalized my apprehensions I was immediately sidelined as being anything from a right wing gun carrying redneck to a racist. Redneck I’m not…gun carrying I am. Racist I’m not either. I took a troubled African-American teenager into my home and raised him as my own. He’s still my ‘brat’ to this day. I have a mixed-race daughter who is our family princess…I love it when they call me racist. My experience with that subject is that the ones using that language are far more likely to be what they accuse others of.

Obama hit the White House with as much good grace as any newly elected president has ever had, albeit he was only elected with a slight majority of the vote at 55%. The independents and conservatives having abandoned the Republican brand for reasons we all know and have gone over before. Many conservatives could just not bring themselves to vote for John McCain, though subsequent events have proven that to have been a feckless reaction. As bad a choice as McCain might have been, he could NOT have been nearly the nightmare Barry Hussein has proven to be.

Obama and his Marxist administration, along with his only slightly less Marxi-Socialist dominated Congress, took the country in EXACTLY the wrong direction at precisely the worst time to do it.
One wonders in retrospect if it wasn’t done precisely for that reason, to create as much chaos and destruction of the economy and the marketplace so as to make their coup possible.

It’s clear now and clearer every day that everything they have attempted has failed. Not just failed but failed abjectly. The ’stimulus’ that stimulated nothing except the government sector. ‘Jobs’ saved at a cost of over $200,000.00 apiece. A cash for clunkers program which cost $24,000.00 per car for a total of THIRTY THREE BILLION DOLLARS. The list of ineptitudes goes on ad-infinitum .
A foreign policy that may as well be non-existent. And a reversal on a clearly stated war policy that has our enemies worldwide licking their chops.

The American people have the right, the duty and the responsibility to go to the polls in 2010 and 2012 to correct this historic wrong. We have started, only just started on the long path back. Don’t lose heart. Continue to hammer away at them. Don’t let up for a second!
We are the AMERICAN PEOPLE and we won’t be denied.
