Obama Running Interference For Kagan?

We haven’t heard much from Barack Obama’s Supreme Court nominee, Elena Kagan. It’s almost like they told her to burrow down and stay out of site. Up until now we didn’t know a heck of a lot about what she did think about key issues and constitutional questions. All we had was the canned tripe put out by the White House via the lame stream media.

Elena Kagan

Since then, investigators have delved into the papers of the late Justice Thurgood Marshall in the Library of Congress and her writings there placed her firmly in the camp of the left. The unease that conservatives had about Kagan’s nomination has been vindicated. The Marshall documents are a window to Ms. Kagan’s fundamental leftist ideology and should be closely examined by Republicans.

Just why everyone has been running around, sagely harrumphing and preparing to roll over for this nominee, is puzzling in the extreme. Frankly, it smacks of the business as usual go-along-to-get-along Republicans that have plagued the party for so long. It’s why the patriot movement has given the removal of these people such a high priority. They will be replaced by rock-solid Reagan conservatives wherever and whenever possible.

There are reported to be another 150,000 documents, pertaining to Kagan’s time in the Clinton Justice Department, housed at the Clinton Library. Supposedly, these documents have to be read and cleared with the Clinton crowd. Plenty of time for monkey business there and, according to reports, President Obama is not eager to have this information surface before the hearings. Obama obstruct? No, of course not.

Liberal critics of Kagan’s nomination were concerned that she was too moderate. According to what I’ve been able to find they need not worry. Elena Kagan is far to the left of Justice John Paul Stevens.
Let’s let the Republicans know that we are following this issue very carefully… they will be under as much scrutiny as Kagan.
