Tomorrow will put finish to the contention that the ‘Tea-Party’ or Conservative Patriot movement has reached its zenith and would soon cease to be a threat. That’s what they’d like you to think. The MSM (so-called mainstream media) has consistently underestimated the real strength of the Patriot movement. They’ve expended so much time on trying to discredit our movement and everything about it. They’ve tied us to every wild-eyed fringe maniac they could find. They have painted us with that usually reliable liberal brush.
Wonder of wonders, it didn’t work. The Patriot Movement has emerged from their collective scathing stronger, smarter, more determined and much larger. More and more people are seeing how deeply they have been betrayed by the passage of health care and the rest of Obama’s economy and job killing policies. These people will gravitate towards their local patriot groups too.
Tomorrow we will see an expression of American values, our traditions, our Constitution and our profound belief in God and the God given freedoms we defend. Millions of Americans will attempt, once again, to get a message through to a government in Washington, which so far has proven deaf to the growing crescendo of unrest around the country. As ominous as all the indicators are for the DeMarxists in the coming midterms, Patriot activists are working extra hard to make sure we retire as many people as we can who facilitated the passage of the health care bill.
Tell all the friends you can reach about the tea-parties in your area, support your country and join with your local Patriots in this peaceful expression of our freedoms. All over America people are joining together and repudiating the Socio/Marxist aims of Barack Obama, his administration and Democrat-dominated House and Senate.
It seems like events are rushing to greet some sort of an event horizon. There are just too many disparate potential flash points not to be completely realistic. The Middle East region is a sizzling hot spot that could have a region wide conflict start from any of a half-dozen different sources.
North Korea is the next most obvious subject, with a very unstable government and internal power issues. They have been increasingly bellicose and tensions are sky-high between the two Koreas, since rumors still persist that the South Korean naval corvette ‘Cheonan’ may have been sunk by a north Korean torpedo.

China is another factor, they have already taken the measure of Barack Hussein Obama and found him to be foolish and naive. They will use his indecisiveness to initiate some ‘incident’ over the island republic of China called Taiwan. China has been drooling over Taiwan for a very long time. China has also increased the number of missiles and artillery facing Taiwan from the mainland. With a timid Barack Obama at the helm, the Chinese may feel the time has come for a little adventurism.
Obama has a miserable record of insulting one ally after another and, as in the case of Israel, withdrawing arms, munitions and spare parts, in the face of increasing threats and a potential regional war. It doesn’t take these folks very long to realize that this President, this government, not only cannot be trusted but will actively work for the benefit of their enemies while feigning friendship to them.
Russia is very cozy with some other influences that will have to be dealt with. Iran and Venezuela. Iran’s increasing bellicosity cannot be ignored. They have gone from threatening Israel to direct threats towards the United States as well. There were a whole bunch of people around who should have known better when Hitler published Mein Kampf, too. Words have meaning. These are real potential adversaries that we have to be prepared to deal with.
Venezuela is not now a military threat and Chavez’ Socialist Nirvana ain’t, so the plebes aren’t cozying up to Hugo. Like any dictator, he deserves close scrutiny.
I just don’t think Obama has the stones for the job. Worse, much worse, I still can’t figure out who he’s working for.
Senator Patrick (Leaky) Leahy (D-VT) has stated that Obama’s choice for the Supreme Court, to replace Justice John Paul Stevens who is retiring at the end of this term, should be in place for the next Supreme Court term which begins in October.

Umm, maybe not, Pat… there are some Senate Republicans who are going to work at their pay grade for once and just scrutinize the hell out of everything they’ve ever done. Oh, I don’t know, does the name Bork bring anything to mind? This was when Ted Kennedy opposed Judge Robert Bork’s nomination to the Supreme Court by President Ronald Reagan. Ted Kennedy stood in front of the nation and attacked Bork, lying through his eye teeth. The Republicans were completely caught off balance and by the time they did react to the attack the Democrats owned the story. The rest is history.
History may be written here again this summer as the left stack up their leftist nominees, selected by their leftist boss, to advance through judicial activism what the left cannot win at the ballot box. How the Senate Republicans handle this process will tell us a whole bunch about who will stay in the Senate. The truth is we’ve had a gut full of Republicans making deals and pandering to our political opponents. It’s time to stand up and be counted or…?
To be sure there will be rich Conservative hunting grounds. Possibly, we should give all of Obama’s appointees a copy of the Constitution. I’m sure they will find it foreign to their belief and totally unknown to most. There’s the guy over in Berkeley who just ‘accidentally’ happened to misplace the 100 most important legal positions he had taken. I’m sure the Committee would just love to discuss that one at length.
I watched Senate Republicans roll over time after time in the confirmation hearings for Sonia Sotomayor. There was plenty there to question and yet Republicans who have been taking our money to do their jobs rolled over on their backs with their feet in the air. No mas. That’s not how we want you to tend our business. We expect you to be hard nosed and tough… be the party of no. Most especially, stand by the conservative principles that have made this country great.
You can’t go far wrong if you stick to that formula.
It’s still the Republican party… but it behaves with the energy of a movement… it has momentum and is self-aware. It hums and buzzes, stretches and grows with huge infusions of like-minded Patriotic Americans who are answering the summons. It’s freedom calling and once again Americans are reaching for and grasping their own part of this historical movement.

There is a concerted effort out there in Marxville to discredit the Patriot Movements, trying to tie us to extremist groups. It’s the entire gamut of DeMarxist statist press with the usual low character of their reporting as their hallmark. There have also been some communications leaked, outlining intentions of infiltrating Conservative Tea Party groups for the purpose of disruption. It’s pretty much what I expected the Democrats to do. Remember all those Democrat crossover votes in open primaries that gave us John McCain as a candidate in 2008?
Watching this magnificent movement burgeon and grow has a sense of history to it. We have advocated new leadership and a clean stable in the Republican party. I’ve been gratified by seeing the sheer numbers of smart, sharp young guns making themselves heard out there in local, County and State government level. Starting soon, the attention will be focused like a laser on November and the Senate and House races.
We have some incredibly talented folks out there just like you. They have seen fit to answer their country’s call. We have huge opportunities right now to make big holes in Democrat numbers. We intend to introduce you to some of these folks. We will do some features to help out where we can. One such feature will be coming up in the next week or so.
This is starting to sound like a recruiting spiel and in a sense it is. If I can talk just one person off the sidelines and into action it’s all good. If you feel an itch in your comfort zone call your local Patriots group or Republican party officials and volunteer.

Senate Republicans, present us with a unified party message prepared to lead… and you’ll have to prove yourselves out here in Patriotville. You’ll have to be ready to fight for every inch of political ground and not give an inch to the opposition. It is time to present a unified party.
Tell the local and national parties that we will not tolerate RINOs any longer… no more Lindsey Graham or John McCain sell outs. Tell the Susan Collins and Olympia Snowes that we won’t tolerate what you did to our party, or what you did to the country in your political arrogance.
The Message: We have to control the message. All too often the conservative point of view has been white noise against the clamor of main stream statist media. That’s changed, the conservative internet is getting the message out quickly and countering the leftist agitprop, so it’s a lot tougher for them to establish control over a subject and own it before we get to the party. The left will lie, fake or invent… we can only answer with truth and principle. Conservative principles always work when they’re followed.
That’s another part of the equation for Republican Senators, they have to be prepared to engage the left at a moment’s notice to ensure that the story doesn’t get buried and to counter the leftist lies. That’s how the left has operated for decades. We Conservatives let them take the message from us. We’ll have to take a page or two from their book. We can leave the stuff on lying, cheating and fraud behind.
The grass roots patriot movement, the ‘tea-partiers’, have made all the difference. They’ve made it possible for you, the Senate, to have impact now, as well as November when an increasing number of prognosticators are calling for a Republican tsunami that will sweep up both Houses. You folks in the Senate have to do everything possible to stop, suspend, detour or s-l-o-w down every single thing you can. You’re running what amounts to gorilla legislation, or maybe non-legislation, buying some time until the cavalry arrives in November.
In the meantime we’ll continue to organize in our neighborhoods and towns. The citizen march is underway. Never before in my lifetime have I seen a more intelligent, engaged and well-informed citizenry. We support our conservative candidates!
The four pillars of Obama’s policies… it seems that they are remarkably alike both for domestic or foreign consumption. Obama’s technique when confronted by a domestic issue is to bluster his way through when confronted… appease his way through or around the issue… ignore it and pretend not to know anything… or deny it altogether, it never happened.

The problem with that approach is that people watch it a few times and then they figure out that’s the only game you have, and that they are starting to think that you may not have the horsepower for the job. Something the rest of us knew a long time ago.
I keep watching one massive blunder on top of another and I’m amazed that people in the Congress who should know better aren’t being more vocal about the disaster area that is our economy. Even the densest Democrat out there instinctively feels the loom of 2010 on the horizon.
The first of the pillars works astonishingly well in dealing with those terrible bullies over in the middle east. It goes hand in hand with ‘appease’, because Obama uses that pillar more frequently than the first (bluster). The guys over there have been counting speeches too. They’ve got his entire program wired down, and they know that Obama appeasement always comes with some concession, usually to the detriment of our national interest. That and the current administration’s facility for policies detrimental to our allies, simply ignoring them entirely, and when that isn’t working deny anything to do with it and leave them to take the rap.
The astonishing part about all this is that Obama has gotten as far as he has, given that his political pantry is emptier than Mother Hubbard’s cupboard. Obama has placed this country at serious risk with his nuclear disarmament agreement with Russia… hopefully the Senate will have a whole bunch to say about this one. It’s not only a stupid idea in a world that’s got regions that are ready to go postal just about any time, but we have a world wide enemy bent on our destruction. That two-bit puppet of the Mullocracy, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, has threatened war on our country. He’s not just talking about Israel, he’s talking about us. Words have meaning, we’d better listen.

California is looking just like its business model back in Washington… which is to say not well. We are unfortunately used to seeing governments big and small underestimate just about everything. We probably should scream like crazy about every item… but we can’t, not in the real day to day world. That’s why we hire politicians to represent us, who are supposed to look out for our interests and do the will of their voters.
It isn’t working that way, certainly here in California with our State Assembly, strongly left leaning and overrun by myriad special interests and environmental activism. Our politics are almost comical in ineptitude. Fresh from an environmental disaster that came very close to destroying the State’s Central San Joaquin Valley, our State government stood largely silent, as did the Governor, when the Feds shut off the water to the farmers citing damage to a 2″ junk fish.
The Assembly, ignoring the record unemployment figures plaguing the State, actually put forth a bill for a single payer health care for California. The bill was estimated to cost a total of as much as thirty billion dollars. This bill went bye-bye. But what was in the heads of the politicians who seriously put this bill forward at a time when most Californians are struggling to get along and many aren’t… getting along that is? It’s their responsibility… all of it.
Other than scope, the way the State is being run is very much like the way the nation is being run under Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama, and that’s not very pretty either. California has ‘discovered’ that, along with the reported thirty billion dollar state budget deficit, we now have an ‘adjusted’ unfunded liability to the state’s various pension programs of three hundred and fifty billion dollars. How’s that for money management? We’re not in Obama’s class and we (no thanks to our State’s politicians) don’t have a thirteen trillion dollar black hole into which everything gets thrown, regardless of reason.
The accounting system for progressives, both in Sacramento and Washville, is measured in ‘feelgood‘ points, with which the liberal leftist salves his conscience of responsibility for virtually any act, constantly reminding all and sundry of his great good intentions, regardless of disastrous results using a model which has failed every time it has been tried.
The problem with governance is that it can’t work like that… not for long. But the other endearing quality liberals have is that of vociferously demanding money from others to fill perceived injustice, while being singularly unwilling to place their fortunes on the line… they love to spend your money.
The similarities between Sacramento and Washington are striking. The remedy remains the same.
