GOP… In Absentia.

What is it that the Washington Republican establishment and the DeMarxists of Barack Hussein Obama’s regime have in common with one another? Status quo. The Marxi-Socialists attempting to enslave this free country of free people strongly wish to maintain the status quo of their Marxist Chief, Barack Obama. The Beltway-Georgetown ‘insider’ Republicrats, on the other hand, have an agenda altogether different.

The tenacity with which the Washington Republican establishment has sought to control and direct the Republican primary process has not gone unnoticed by Americans, and it appears to be backfiring. Not that you’d know it by the mindless bleatings of the Lame Stream Press. There’s an awful lot of noise out there regarding Mitt Romney (the GOP establishment presumed candidate), the man the LSM and the Obama camp would like to run against.

Almost every average polling result shows President Obama beating Romney. Okay, that explains why the lefties are enamored of the too smooth and somewhat oily Mr. Romney. On the other hand, there’s good reason Mitt can’t get out of the twenties.

Conservatives don’t trust Romney. We see him for what he is. An opportunistic politician who, at one or more points in his career, has flipped on every major issue in the Conservative playbook. He started his career as a pro-choice liberal. Recent forays into what he calls Conservatism lack conviction.

Tear into his as-yet-to-be-stated immigration policy, and you’ll see someone who is fatally flawed on the whole question of illegal immigration. He mouths platitudes about illegals returning to their homes of origin to line up awaiting the issuance of ‘green cards’.

Mr. Romney has no intention of going around the country rousting felons who have broken the most fundamental law of our land. In addition, notice his language. He sticks assiduously to the oft-repeated liberal saw that there are some eleven million illegals presently residing in this country… most of whom are obtaining a plethora of goodies paid for by the citizens of America, thanks to many other pandering politicos just like Mitt Romney. America is a country built by immigrants, legal immigrants who came here to this land of freedom to become American.

The GOP is pushing Romney because he’s the most likely candidate to maintain the party status quo. They also think he may enable them to win the Senate away from Obama and the Marxists. This gives an insight to the way the inside the beltway mind works. The Repubics, sad to say, are so wrapped in their own arrogance that they in fact would not mind being faced with another four years of Barack Hussein Obama and his DeMarxist drive to destroy and enslave this country… if winning the Senate would mean a return to the cushy committee assignments and chairmanships of the good ol’ glory days of George Bush. They could then, in fact, become the do-nothing Congress while luxuriating in the power and greed that access to unlimited largesse brings. In this way, the Repubics have control without having to do anything.

Mitt Romney is a hip, slick and cool sort of politician. He is not to be trusted. Conservatives know it… that’s why he can’t break out of the low twenties. The establishment GOP has made the conscious decision to align themselves with the enemies of our way of life and the Constitution. They have placed themselves directly in the path of the Conservative Tea-Party juggernaut which has been quietly organizing out in the states and communities.

So, to the Karl Roves and George Wills out there… to all of the beltway pundits who have been wrong time after time… you’re going to get your lunch fed to you, and it’s going to be the Tea Party that does it.

The Republicans’ D-Day… Live Free…

The time is here. This is the defining moment of this Congress and these leaders. Fully seventy percent of the American people do not want an increase in the debt limit.

MaoBama has all the little Marxists scattering throughout the beltway, desperately attempting to change the narrative. Increasingly exposed before America and the world as the feckless, incompetent idealogue he is, Barack Hussein Obama has painted himself and his Marxists into a corner.

The most recent Gallup and Rasmussen polls both show any generic Republican defeating Obama in the 2012 presidential race by five to eight points, and counting. Increasing numbers of disaffected voters identifying themselves as Democrats are leaving the fold, along with increasing numbers of other ‘safe’ ObaMao constituents such as the so-called ‘security moms’, who flocked to his Plastic Banana Good Time Rock an’ Roll image (thanks, Rush), so carefully crafted to deceive unwary Americans.

MaoBama is in deep water, and his Marxist followers know it. Every DeMarxist stunt in their really worn playbook has been pulled out with entirely predictable frequency every time the Anointed One has stubbed his toe. In fact, they’ve dragged these straw ponies out (smelling strongly of dead fish) so many times that virtually no one except the statists of the Lame Stream Media and the extreme leftist radicals even pay attention to it anymore.

The latest barrage of bull bleep comes from one of the true intellectual giants of the left, Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX), as she once again tries to polish up the tarnish on the race card. She repeatedly whines “Why this president?” Why this president, Sheila? It’s because you and he, and people just like you, are the racists.

Barack Hussein Obama has purposely set American against American. This is the most divisive president in the 235 year history of our country. Little boy George ‘I stepped all in it’ Stephanopoulos made the Lame Stream shine with the statement that Obama has done ‘remarkably well’. Back to the drawing board, George. Try something with a little imagination next time.

Republicans have this one chance to prove to the American people that they are fit to lead this country away from the yawning abyss which is the national debt, and the even more imminent debt ceiling battle which is taking place as I write.

We cannot allow reckless, weak politicians to seek the ‘easier softer way’. We’ve been there and done that before, which is largely what led us to this pass to start with.

Here it is again. To the Republican leadership… This is either your finest hour or your greatest peril. Be warned, the American people will not support backroom political deal making… not this time… not again.
Hear that, Mitch?

Polls And Surveys.

The usual pre-election flurry of facts, figures, statistics and predictions are being hurled at us from all directions. From demographic and racial groups’ preferences to the likelihood of hamster owners voting Republican or Democrat… most angles are covered in some way or another.

I pity the campaign organizers who have to dissect all this information in order to target the areas and groups where they have less support. Let’s see… we need to concentrate on mixed-race, Lexus owning, Mac using, CSI viewers with a subscription to ‘Gardener’s Weekly’. Well, I exaggerate a little, perhaps.

Pollsters remind me of the addicted gambler, who regularly boasts “I came out $1,000 up this week”, without mention of the $5,000 they lost the previous week. The electorate is, for the most part, fickle. Take out the group of us that would never, save for a severe blow to the head, vote for the other party. What you have left is a large percentage that can be swayed right up to the last minute before entering the booth.

This is precisely the group being targeted now by the Democrats in their last-hour smear campaigns. I covered the Meg Whitman story in some detail yesterday, so I don’t intend covering the same ground today. By leaving these attacks so late in the game, it gives little time for the victim to react and vindicate themselves. One poll this week showed Meg’s percentage dropping, although it was claimed that this was not due to the actions of Attorney Gloria Allred, at the behest of person/s yet unknown. Can I really believe that?

With nothing of substance on which to campaign, other than failed policies and a total disregard for the wishes of the majority of Americans, not to mention the fact that one piece of legislation they did get through, by unscrupulous means, was arguably the most unpopular in modern history, they are left with two options. One option is the personal attack / smear campaign. The other is to appear more centrist in their ads.

I have seen several lately which declare the desire to restore the economy, create new wealth and jobs, to put America back at the top where it belongs. Gee… I could vote for that guy. But… wait a moment… Isn’t that the Democrat who voted for the stimulus, the health care bill, opposed the surge, voted for cap-and-trade?

The sad fact is that many voters will fall for these benign-looking candidates, with no idea of their true agenda or ideologies. A recent survey showed that 65% of people questioned could not name one Supreme Court Judge. With a total lack of political knowledge, what chance do they have of disseminating the truth from the lies in these campaigns?

Instead of filling our youngsters’ heads with prophecies of doom through man-made global warming and Marxist historical revisionism, it’s time that they were taught the real truth that is the Constitution and American political history, that these video confidence tricksters’ true intention is to take the country down a path that has failed in every single nation that has tried it.
Only then will we see the opinion polls fluctuate less wildly.
