Since we received some queries last week… I’m back! Last week was one of 15 hour days for me. It’s just the nature of the business I’m in. I liked the way Dee answered one comment from an affiliate: “It’s just too hard to put on his writing head after all those hours”. Pretty apt description.
It’s proven really difficult to impress upon the establishment types the dire necessity of tackling the Mexican issue as a matter of party policy. You cannot separate the border issues from the economy… nor can the 20 million plus illegals, feeding like leeches from the veins of American taxpayers, be ignored any longer. The asinine assertion that we can’t remove these law breakers… felons by any American legal definition… is just so much bull bleep.
As has been shown in the past during any period of stringent enforcement, they repatriate themselves. Don’t try to sell us the sob stories either. How would a citizen of the US (or any other country) fare if caught sneaking into Mexico, or anywhere else in Central or South America? They don’t exactly roll out the welcome mat down there.
Witness what’s occurring in Arizona as we speak. Thousands of illegals are leaving under the impetus of the implementation of Arizona’s immigration enforcement initiatives. Unfortunately, they’re heading for States where the goodies are still being ladled out, like California, whose really simple-minded state legislature has just voted to allow in-state tuition for illegals and the children of illegal aliens in the California university system.
The State of California has an unfunded debt liability of over 40 billion dollars. We see the Governor of California lying outright, in order to gain support for his union welfare tax increases.
Illegal aliens cost the state over 10.5 billion dollars annually, and they pay an additional one point four billion dollars every year to incarcerate 20,000 more illegals. The state is broke. It’s a disaster looking for a place to occur. California state lawmakers should be removed for malfeasance in office. It makes one wonder if California voters will ever break the shackles of union/state imperialism. Other states tell a similar story.
It’s imperative, then, that whoever we put forward to carry the Conservative banner has a firm grip on the subject of illegal immigration and the intestinal fortitude to recapture America for Americans.
A rifle shot rings out across the desert, a voice yells “Rider coming in!”. The location – somewhere in the Arizona Territory, the time – sometime in the 1870s. Pedro, as vigilant as ever in the guard tower, warns the occupants of The High Chaparral of a possible threat to their safety.
This was a work of 1960s television fiction, of course. The tale of a rancher who, in this lawless west, takes a stand against any and all who would destroy his vision of the future. Having lost his first wife to an Apache arrow shortly after moving to their new home, he steels himself for the task ahead when many would give up.
With Apache raids from the north and Mexican cattle rustlers from the south, vigilance is the keyword in the survival of his family and loyal ranch hands. As a side note, I always felt sorry for Pedro. Maybe he was unlucky in drawing straws for guard tower duty.
Fast forward about 140 years to modern day Arizona. No longer a ‘territory’ but a fully-fledged state, with laws and agencies in place to protect the citizens against incursion by hostile forces. There is only one problem…
Big John Cannon would have welcomed the creation of the Border Patrol. So would Pedro, not having to spend so many hours up in that tower under the blazing sun. I don’t think they would be so impressed by a federal government that takes the teeth away from an agency designed to protect them. Or the fact that those gunless wonders in Washington are willing to sue their elected state officials for attempting to help them.
What goes around, comes around. Well, it sure does in the case of Arizona. From lawless, dangerous, hostile territory to safe, civilized, law-enforced state… and back again.
It’s a sad and deeply tragic state of affairs. The world’s only superpower, in the guise of the Obama administration, can not defend (or is not willing to defend) its own people against the constant threat from across the border. This is a threat far more dangerous than has been seen at any time in history. In the 1870s it was small groups of bandidos, armed with revolvers that were pretty inaccurate even at point-blank range. In 2011, they are heavily armed with automatic weapons… and they are highly organized.
In a recent news report, it was revealed that the Mexican drug cartels obtained weapons due to a botched operation by ATF, whereby they knowingly supplied firearms to drug smugglers in an attempt to trace them back to source. That really inspires confidence.
Inability, incompetence, unwillingness… Is it surprising that with these all too familiar hallmarks of federal authorities that people, like Richard Humphries, are forced to take drastic measures to protect themselves? Mr Humphries, a rancher, has built a watchtower on his 75 acre ranch in an attempt to monitor the movements of illegals.
Perhaps it’s time for the president and his administration to watch more ‘High Chaparral’ and less ‘West Wing’, in order to understand the real America.
In Skip’s article of February 28th., he wrote about the abuse of the powers granted to the TSA. Skip credited me with the idea for the article, which in turn was inspired by a ‘Back to Basics’ piece by Gonzalo Lira, which depicted the search of a totally innocent looking family after traveling by train.
I guess the title was down to me. After reading Mr Lira’s article I said to Skip, “What the heck is up with the TSA?” My actual thoughts were slightly more Bidenesque, along the lines of “This is a big ******* deal!” However, call me old-fashioned if you wish, but I leave those expletives to the opposition.
You can imagine our delight yesterday, when we read about the New Hampshire bill which was read to a house committee in Concord. If passed, invasive pat-downs where private areas are touched, or images of such areas are viewed, would be regarded as sexual assault. Anyone found guilty of such acts, without probable cause, would be added to the State Sexual Offenders Registry.
The new act would essentially be the addition of Subparagraph (d), which states:
“When the person, acting in his or her role as a security agent of the federal, state, or local government, touches the genitals or breasts of any other person or touches or views with any technological device the genitals or breasts of any other person without probable cause for such touching or viewing. For purposes of this subparagraph, the following shall not constitute probable cause: discussing or possessing a copy of the Constitution, discussing the security apparatus of an airport, being on the premises of an airport, possessing an airplane ticket or any other type of ticket for access to mass transportation, driving a motor vehicle on a public way, or ownership of firearms.”
Interesting wording… It makes it sound as though a Constitution carrier is regarded by some people (Federal, perhaps) as more of a risk than a Koran carrier.
The TSA have consulted with their lawyers and sources have indicated that their response is that Federal law supersedes State law. Well, TSA lawyers, the Fourth Amendment is Federal law. If you’re not familiar with it, you are welcome to check it out on our website.
While I wholeheartedly support this move in New Hampshire, it should not be necessary. Why are states being forced to introduce new laws when they are already covered at the federal level… in this particular case, by the Fourth Amendment? The same question can be applied to the Arizona immigration bill.
While the White House and the Senate are controlled by those who have little or no regard for the freedom of the individual, or for the Constitution that guarantees that freedom, there will be many more state bills to come after New Hampshire’s. Meanwhile, we await the president’s next executive order with bated breath.
Sort of like what has been happening to the leftists lately. Especially noticeable has been the public’s tepid response to the LSM’s instantaneous and vitriolic attacks against the conservative right.
They’ve pulled out all the stops. They’ve cranked up all their cranks, of whom they have such a delightful variety. They have Marxist members of Congress strutting around proclaiming new anti-gun legislation, which means nothing and will go nowhere.
This entire sad episode has backfired on the DeMarxists in ways they haven’t even figured out yet. Even some LSM types are a little disturbed at the way the leftist press and the political left have colluded to turn the heinous Arizona shootings into a political circus maximus with all the trimmings, including an out-of-control political hack sheriff, running around spouting outrageous, over-the-top rants at conservatives.
Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik is as radical a partisan hack politician as it is possible to be. He had his other moment of fame with his vocal opposition and refusal to enforce the immigration law that Arizona passed. The left’s appeal is ebbing. Well over 60% of the people of the United States of America identify with the Tea Party Patriot movement.
The left is lashing out with all the fury of a jilted lover. The more the American people reject them and their lies, the more desperate they become.
At first, I thought the story had to be wrong when I heard that our Border Patrol agents had to use non-lethal ‘beanbags’ for dealing with illegals, and that in a deadly-force situation they had to wait to fire until fired upon. These ‘rules of engagement’ seldom accomplish anything other than getting good men killed or wounded.
That’s exactly what happened when Agent Brian A. Terry was killed in the remote Peck Canyon area, north of Nogales, Arizona. Ironically, agent Terry was killed pursuing bandits who infest the borders preying on illegals coming across the border from Mexico.
It’s no secret that the smuggling gangs have permanent observation posts set up on mountains in the region. It’s also apparent that Mexico is no longer a sovereign country, but has taken on all the appearances of a narco-state. With a four-year total of thirty thousand dead, men, women and children, and with twelve thousand four hundred and fifty six fatalities this year alone, Mexico is a country which has clearly lost its way.
There are those who would argue that Mexico has never been a self-supporting nation and would have folded long ago if it didn’t have the safety valve of the United States to the north to which it can funnel its illegals, to take pressure away from successive totally corrupt governments, whose only purpose in being is to protect the status quo with regard to the border and the export of illegals, guns and drugs.
There’s a shooting war on our southern border and we’d better wise up to the fact that we are literally being invaded by a foreign power with no regard for its own laws, much less ours.
If the Republican Party had one tenth the courage and determination of Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, we might not be having this conversation.

Sheriff Joe has stood like a rock throughout attack after attack by the liberal Marxists, and never wavered in his determination to serve the people by whom he was elected. Joe is a gutsy, no-nonsense lawman who says just what he thinks and does what he says he’s going to do, which has been to incarcerate some 10,000 offenders, both domestic and illegal alien.
President Obama’s government has singled out Arizona for punishment, for being the first to stand against the statist tyranny of Washington. Eric Holder, at the orders of Barack Hussein Obama, initiated a lawsuit against Arizona’s anti-illegal alien legislation SB 1070, which had passed with overwhelming support from the people of Arizona. Gutsy Conservative Governor Jan Brewer stood against Obama’s hectoring. She told Holder to go pound sand and informed reporters that she was confident that the State’s argument would prevail.
In the meantime, it’s not like this is Joe Arpaio’s first rodeo with people who would love to see him dragged down. He’s faced them all and he’s still here. Now he’s become such a pain in the posteriors of the drug traffickers that they’ve put out an open contract on his head. Joe’s defiance has helped bolster the confidence of other border lawmen to stand up against an illegal rogue government that is obviously bent on the destruction of our society, at least as we know it.
Joe is an everyday American hero. There are heroes just like Joe all over the country. Look around. They’re your friends and neighbors… your family… your community.
Keep at it Joe, we’re with you.
The latest batch of primary election results yielded few surprises. After some scathing attacks on rival JD Hayworth, and a no-less-than-spectacular turnaround on immigration policies, John McCain was to cruise home with a twenty four percentage point lead.

While Hayworth is a largely unknown quantity in political circles, I think it is a safe assumption that he would not have been tempted to acquiesce to the Democrats in the Senate. The balance in the Senate, come November, will be a close call, probably too close to afford the luxury of defecting Republican votes.
I am amazed that Arizona Republicans, whose current main concern is illegal immigration, could be taken in by a flip-flopper extraordinaire, whose about-turn is nothing more than a blatant act of self-preservation. Sen. Jim Inhofe called McCain a “closet liberal”. Gee, ya think, Jim?! Not a very deep closet, either.

In Alaska, Tea Party endorsed newcomer Joe Miller was leading incumbent Senator Lisa Murkowski by 51 to 49, with 98% 0f votes counted. It could be a week before the final result is announced, with remote rural areas using the old paper ballot system.
Back in Arizona, Ben Quayle, son of former VP Dan Quayle, won the Republican primary in the 3rd Congressional District. The 33 year old lawyer beat off competition from nine other candidates to become favorite to replace retiring Representative John Shadegg.

Earlier this month, Quayle called Barack Obama “the worst president in history” and hoped that he would be elected to Congress to “knock the hell out of Washington”.
Honest on the first count, determined on the second – sounds like the type of person we need.
It looks like Arizona has a lot of serious company out there just now. No fewer than twenty two states are in the process of drafting, or seeking to pass, legislation such as was passed by Arizona. Others are looking at the Arizona law with renewed interest.

The cash strapped municipalities, counties and states can ill afford the lavish largesse, once routinely offered to illegals by liberal governments. The gravy train is petering out for one reason… there is no money. Federal programs and make-work grants are fizzling out.
The stimulus simply didn’t work. That money is running out. The sectors favored most by the infusion of these federal dollars are of course the people to whom Obama and his DeMarxist Congress were most beholden… the public sector unions, the SEIU, the teachers’ unions. So far, they’ve largely avoided the brutal layoff / no job nightmare the rest of us have been living with, only because of repeated bail outs.
It will be increasingly difficult to keep these jobs off the chopping block as further bailouts seem unlikely, given the proximity of the elections and the mood in the country about any further deficit spending. Once the public sector starts to feel the bite, more dissatisfaction will be directed towards Obama and his government.
These twenty two states are legislating in the face of the government’s lawsuit which challenges the legality of Arizona’s ‘tough’ illegal immigration law, which is nothing more than federal law enforced. I think more states will start looking really hard at enacting similar laws, as they have to face how much catering to illegals is really costing them.
Encourage your lawmakers to consider Arizona-style legislation. If we dry up the goodies we won’t have to deport them, because they’ll go back where they came from if there’s no work or welfare to attract and hold them.
America’s hero has more guts than all the Feds combined… and that includes MaoBama and the Marxist clown college, and you can throw his lame rear-ended administration into that mix for good measure. Joe Arpaio put an exclamation point to Arizona’s defiance of the Feds’ blatant abrogation of the Constitution and the state’s individual right to defend its citizens.
Illegals were bussed in from as far as Texas and California to demonstrate for non-existent ‘rights’ in our country. I guess La Raza couldn’t find enough local illegals to rabble rouse. Joe locked up 50 protesters from right on his own front porch, and has all the macho illegal tough guys in pink underwear, eating last weeks 20 cent baloney sandwiches. Joe then promptly sent out his troops to do an illegal alien sweep. Keep those cards and letters coming, Joe!
Thanks to Dee for filling in for me yesterday and another really excellent article. She did bring up a subject that is a recurrent theme in this business. By placing your thoughts and opinions out for public review and comment, especially when that content is opinionated and politically charged, you can and will become a target for criticism, especially from the malcontents of the left.
Let me say first that the overwhelming number of comments we receive from readers are positive and thoughtful. Then there are ‘the others’. I guess I can’t blame Dee for unloading on Mr Low-pez. It wouldn’t be so bad if he could speak and write English. However, it rather looks like if we removed the one word he can spell, he’d be the quietest individual in the room. From the vehemence of his attack, I’d guess that he’s probably one of Joe Arpaio’s clients.
We welcome responsible, thoughtful comment. Differences in opinion are what makes America great. The mental lockstep and group-speak of the left does nothing to advance public discourse and everything to diminish it. The left cannot exist in the presence of substantive ideas and therefore must resort to the type of comment Dee was referring to.
Name calling and foul language are the first and last resort of leftists and other things that crawl really low.
When Skip asked me to sit in today, due to his heavy work schedule, I didn’t really have anything lined up to write about. That was soon to change, as shortly afterward we received a comment from a reader regarding yesterday’s article (‘Meg Whitman: The Next Arnold In Waiting‘), which covered Whitman’s opposition to SB1070.
Call me old-fashioned if you wish, but I find the use of foul language unsavory to say the least. That’s not to say that the air in my office has not turned blue occasionally with some choice expletives, if I’m under pressure to complete some work and the computers are not cooperating! However, to debase an argument or debate by this method only serves to prove a lack of substance. Language aside, there was something in the comment that I found personally offensive, as I know Skip and many Conservative Patriots/Tea Party members would also.
The offending message? Here it is: “sb 1070. You are all a bunch of f****** disgusting, blatant, f****** racists pigs who are obviously so unhappy.” Of course, the asterisks were not in the original! Okay, so at whom is Juan A Lopez (as the critic signed himself) aiming his comments? If it is Skip, Mr Lopez is seriously misguided, as investigation of previous articles would testify. Skip’s personal life is of no concern to anyone else and it is not for me to discuss such things, but I’m sure that he would be willing to forward the article links which contain details of his own experiences of discrimination and involvement in helping people from ‘minorities’.
As for myself, I have been the victim of discrimination on repeated occasions. No, not imaginary ones, such as ‘supposed’ spitting or name-calling where there was no evidence worthy of $100,000. Stones and eggs thrown at windows and a vandalized car (slashed tires and ‘keyed’ paintwork) in my case! This, in an area where nearly everyone is left of center! I live in the middle of liberal hypocrisy, so don’t try telling me about their warped ideas of equality!
So, what about the Tea Party? There is not a single day that goes by without some liberal or other hurling baseless accusations of racism. How many Americans have, in some form or other, been involved with the Tea Party movement? Two million? Five million? Ten million or more? It would be naive of me to deny that there are not some racists in that number, just as it would be to say that no Democrats or NAACP (!) members are racist.
Bigots exist in all walks of life, of all political persuasions and in all occupations. Some are so entrenched in their own little world of hate (dare I say, often a result of their own insecurities or feelings of inadequacy) that nothing will change them. They are free to think what they think. If they put those thoughts into action – that’s a different situation entirely.
We should examine the difference between racism and the rule of law under the Constitution. When the Black Panthers, on video, said what should be done to white babies… well, that speaks for itself, racism in its worst form. I would also class that as ‘incitement to violence’. However, the only basis that the left has for accusing the Tea Party of racism (forget the disproved incidents) as a whole, is its support for stronger controls on illegal immigration.
On the subject of SB1070, I found one part of Judge Susan Bolton’s statement to be quite worrying: “By enforcing this statute, Arizona would impose a ‘distinct, unusual and extraordinary’ burden on legal resident aliens that only the federal government has the authority to impose”. I heard this mentioned by a couple of television reporters, but they did not seem to interpret it the same way that I did. It sounds to me as though the federal government can impose a burden on legal resident aliens. This, of course, is referring to the status checks on suspected illegals. If this is the case, as clarified by a US judge, then why are the Feds, in the form of ICE and other agencies, so reluctant to act when they would have the full support of states like Arizona? Do I really need to answer that one?
A couple of years ago, I arrived at work early in the morning to be informed that two night workers had been taken away by police in the wee small hours. It transpired that someone had suspected them of being undocumented workers and reported them to the authorities. Indeed, the two Pakistanis had expired visas and were deported. This was in Britain, the ever-so-politically-correct nanny state. It’s a little worrying when a country that has historically been seen as a soft-touch by illegals is getting more tough than the US.
The Tea Party is not a divisive organization. It is there to unite people who have a common aim – to maintain the freedoms of every legal US citizen, regardless of ethnicity, under one flag and one Constitution – that of the United States of America.
Meg Whitman was on America’s Morning News today. After listening to her talk, I had the distinct impression that what we’re getting is another big government liberal. When queried about the illegal alien subject she danced all over the issue, saying that “Arizona’s anti-illegal alien law was not for California”. It made me wonder if she had ever read California’s statutes, like 634-b of the criminal code. Maybe someone should tell her that we have had the same laws on our books for decades.

Successive liberal state governments (like Jerry ‘Moonbeam’ Brown’s) have tied law enforcements’ hands, preventing them from arresting illegals for anything except violent crime, and turning them over to ICE agents and deporting them. These laws have been in existence for thirty years or more.
Whitman then moved on to say that she would ‘seal’ the border. Um, has anybody bothered to tell Megs that the Feds control the border? Sounds just like an Arizona problem doesn’t it? Maybe Whitman should talk to some of the ranchers in the Jacumba, Davies Station or Campo Station areas of the state she wishes to govern, who have to go around armed and in fear for their families.
She further said she would ensure that employers were severely punished for hiring illegal aliens and see to it that so-called ‘sanctuary cities’ would be punished and prevented from sheltering illegal aliens, such as the convicted felon who slaughtered Tony Bologna and two of his sons in that great outdoor sewer and illegal alien paradise, San Francisco.
Sounds pretty good in a general way, doesn’t it? Until you find out that she is broadcasting the diametric opposite message in Spanish on Latino language radio stations and on at least one billboard, which had been spotted and reported by a Tea Party patriot, saying “No on 187 and No on the Arizona immigration law“. In Spanish that would be called “hablar dando una de cal y otra de arena”. Speaking from both sides of your mouth.
Not that I think ‘Moonbeam’ is any bargain either. He made a hash of state government as Governor once before and then for an encore, as Mayor, turned Oakland into a veritable shooting gallery.
Abel Maldinado is out of the question as well… he’s not even a good crook… just a stupid ego-maniacal one. That leaves us with Meg, who thought that Van Jones (Oakland communist agitator) was the greatest thing since cream cheese. Not a great selection for Californians.
But, we cannot afford to stay home. If anything, we have to support Whitman as the best of several bad choices and then try and pressure her to do the right thing. Sounds like a familiar scenario for Californians, doesn’t it?

The Mason-Dixon Line was the resolution of a border dispute between the then British colonies of Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and West Virginia. It was named after the surveyors who undertook the task between 1763 and 1767, Charles Mason and Jeremiah Dixon. The Mason-Dixon line was some 233 miles in length. It later became the demarcation between the ‘Yankee North’ and the South ‘Dixie’.

Later on, it became known as the line between the ‘free’ North and the slave South, in particular between Pennsylvania and Maryland. During the 1800s, and particularly during the Civil War, it became the infamous Mason-Dixon line, marking the separation line between the Federal Unionist north and the Confederate south. There are no boundaries separating North and South any longer. There is a definite border between the United States of America and Mexico.
Our government, under Barack Hussein Obama, chooses to act as though we have no border, and in point of fact encourages the flood of illegals coming through. His Director of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano, makes absolutely asinine statements such as, ‘The Border Patrol is better staffed now than at any time in its history’. Such statements fool no one. I’ve detailed in this column over the last eighteen months how Barack Obama has systematically stripped the southern border of over four hundred Border Patrol officers.
Our international border has become a war zone for the southern border states. California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas are the fronts in this war, with heavily-armed drug gangs coming and going at will, with Border Patrol officers being outgunned, shot at and assaulted at an ever increasing pace, with American citizens being ravaged and murdered on their own property, with millions of illegal aliens sapping the lifeblood of this country and its legitimate citizens. This government has much to answer for.
In self defense, one state has stood against the federal behemoth. Arizona has passed a law reinforcing existent federal laws already on the books, which successive administrations have failed to do. Now, the DeMarxist administration of Barack Obama is attacking Arizona for defending its clearly defined state’s right, claiming it to be unconstitutional. What is unconstitutional is the entire regime behind that suit.
Arizona is no longer alone in her stand against Eric Holder and the MaoBama White House. So far, nine other states have come out in support of Arizona and are actively seeking to enact laws of their own… Michigan, Alabama, Florida, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas and Virginia… in addition to the Northern Mariana Islands. Looks like the Marianas take their borders seriously anyway. By the way, California, in all its hallucinatory arrogance, has the exact same laws already on the books that Arizona passed.
Obama has his own new Mason-Dixon Line. This time, there is no Confederacy. This time, it’s American citizens standing up to a tyrannical regime. Time is running out for the DeMarxists, and that makes them more dangerous than ever. There is a chilling article on RedState by Gary Bentley, entitled “Revolution Or Civil War, It’s Your Choice”.
It’s a nightmare scenario, like something out of a mystery thriller, though there’s not a damn thing funny about where this whole thing could go if we don’t get a real handle on it this November.

His illegal immigrants are flooding our emergency rooms, our schools, public welfare schemes and our legal system, courts and prisons. The internecine drug wars tearing at the very substance of his country are the direct result of government corruption at every level.
President Calderon thinks you’re stupid… after his self righteous presentations to the Congress and the people of the country about the glories of illegal immigration, and how grateful we should be for absorbing millions of illegals. He went on to detail how unjust Arizona’s new immigrant enforcement law is and how illegals have human rights which our laws overlook.
I should have mentioned that Barack Obama set the stage for Calderon’s performance with a sophomoric rant about a ‘path to citizenship for aliens’. It’s the same thing we shot down during the Bush years. Giving it the good old politburo standing ovation, the DeMarxists looked like puppets on cue. The Republicans forswore the privilege. Calderon should certainly receive an award for raw out-and-out chutzpah.
Would anyone care to know how Mexico treats illegals as they come across the southern Mexican border? Two years in prison for a first offense and ten for a second. Non-citizens have no rights in Mexico. Mexico’s ‘General Laws’ see to that. Even a naturalized Mexican citizen is second class to native born Mexicans and may not participate in the Mexican political process, among other restrictions. Mexican illegal aliens are frequently beaten, robbed, or, in the case of women, raped.
So, Mr Calderon. Tell us again how your country would survive if we did close the border. My guess is it wouldn’t. Walk softly, Mr Calderon… you may regret your words before it’s said and done.
For the elected President of a free and sovereign people, Barack Obama behaves more and more like a third world banana republic tin-horn dictator. Totalitarian minded regimes all have certain things in common, and Obama is working overtime to acquire as many of these attributes as possible before we stop him in November. With the anticipated Republican victories we should be able to stop all or most of his agenda. We’d better!
I noticed that Barack has changed his tune about immigration, at least about bringing up immigration as an issue for the November 2010 elections. Perhaps one of his handlers clued him to what a disaster immigration would be if it was allowed to become a major issue, in view of an already outraged electorate in an absolutely poisonous political climate.
In the meantime, we have these various illegal alien ‘industry’ types organizing ‘marches’ throughout the nation. Blatant criminal aliens marching openly and apparently without fear. I can’t help contrast the video footage of the rioters in Arizona with the video recordings, literally hundreds of them, documenting Patriot activities. Well behaved law abiding citizens exercising their Constitutional rights vs. criminal aliens running loose in our streets. That’s the difference. Law and Constitution or criminal illegal aliens sapping the life and vitality out of our economy, with their overwhelming dependence on welfare/social services and the criminal justice system.
There are an awful lot of similarities between Obama and most dictators. There are some striking similarities between this regime and that of Adolf Hitler in pre-World War 2 Germany. The most striking similarity is his disdain for Israel and his barely concealed anti-semitism. So much so that American Jewry is moving away from the Democrat party, due to what they see as a threat to Israel and her security from his openly anti-semitic behavior. That’s something they never even did during the administration of that other celebrated anti-semite, Jimmy Carter. This is another voting block that has long been the playground of the liberal left.
Like Hitler’s Germany, Obama is investing agencies and bureaucracies with vast enforcement powers, which if not questioned, examined and ultimately stopped could morph into something akin to Hitler’s secret police.
Make no mistake, SWAT teams to oil rigs is pure Hugo Chavez. So is his attack on Arizona’s illegal alien bill and its Governor, to whom he owes a profound apology. She’s not holding her breath, however. Hitler didn’t start out much differently than Obama. They were both street agitators and political opportunists. Hitler was a rabid anti-semite and if Obama isn’t there, he’s damned close… remember the walking duck?
It is up to patriotic American citizens all over this blessed nation to rise up with one united voice to say no to this, or any would-be dictator.
Once again we get to examine at close range the techniques the left use when they pull out all of the stops on one of their signature issues. We’d have had to fight this fight anyhow, but Arizona brought the stinking boil to the surface. Look at the videos coming out of Arizona and it’s pretty easy to tell that the people doing the rioting are the sames ones you’d be likely to see in front of Home Depot… and yeah, that’s profiling.
Calling these mini-riots ‘protest marches’ is almost laughable and the LSM is having a lot of trouble selling this one to an America who has had it right up to our eyebrows with the illegal alien issue, along with crooked, corrupt politicians and bureaucracies and Barack Obama’s anti-economy.
The activists, race lawyers and all of the other bottom feeders that follow this wedge of the leftist movement all descended on Arizona at first word of the Illegal Alien Bill being signed into law. Let us not overlook that race baiter extraordinaire, the blowhard himself Al Sharpton, who never overlooks an opportunity to stir racial tension. He blew into town on an ill wind like a vulture sensing corruption. He’s just never figured out how to tell the truth about anything and we’re still trying to figure out what an African American race baiter has to offer to the latino community. The answer is not much!
These ‘protests’ by illegals (under the tutelage of professional immigrant advocates-agitators and groups) are for illegals, and have very little in common with the greater hispanic/latino community in America. I’ve been struck recently by the number of calls and emails from American latinos, including many legal immigrants, sounding off loud and clear on the issue of illegal immigration, and without exception they say they are outraged that Barack Obama and the Democrats would give away to people who were criminals by definition what they and their relatives and ancestors had to work so hard for.
We have May Day coming up, which is actually the left’s secular high-holy day, the birthday of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin. What a surprise. The left, once again, is overreaching. The more they throw these illegals out in the public eye, the tougher the resistance to any kind of an amnesty becomes. It instead becomes another unifier for Republicans, Independents, the Patriot movement and American latinos. Setting themselves opposite an already outraged electorate isn’t the smartest move, but that’s just what Barack Hussein Obama has done, entered into an unholy alliance with the illegal aliens by virtue of his attack on the Arizona law.
Ok Barack, go for it.
I never in my wildest imagination would have envisioned Obama’s nation. It probably should be better known as the Obamination. In retrospect it’s hard to believe that the American electorate voted Barack Hussein Obama into office… any office. This is a very shallow man. The people he has surrounding him are, for the most part, shallow sorts also. Few have ever had employment outside of feeding at the public trough. The rest of them come from academia which these days equates to naive Marxist/Leninist Keynesian theorists… which is to say they know nothing.
This country, according to Obama, is a racially charged battleground with hordes of angry white cops chasing hapless, poor Mexican ‘braceros’ around the ‘burbs. At least that’s what the liar-in-chief would have you think about a State, Arizona, driven to protect itself and its citizens from the invasion of illegals/criminals flooding across our unprotected borders, most particularly our southern border.
That most of the people coming across happen to be latino has no bearing on the meaning of the word illegal. Again I’ll ask it, what’s not to understand about ‘illegal’? It doesn’t matter if it’s Chinese smuggling themselves in here in containers or people overstaying their visas. There is no difference at all, and country of origin has nothing to do with it.
The tone coming from President Obama is arrogant and despicable. For him to assert that Arizona’s anti-illegal immigration is ‘ill considered’ is patently absurd in the face of the US Government’s criminally negligent management of our borders and ports. What twisted rationale permits illegals to attempt to claim the high ground in a Marxist inspired effort to suborn our laws, our Constitution and the sovereignty of our nation?
One of the few legitimate functions of our Federal Government is the defense of our borders. There has been systemic failure after failure at the Federal level to enforce our immigration laws for decades. Both parties are amply guilty on this, the left more so than the right, but there’s plenty of finger pointing and blame to go around. We intend to stop that cold in November. One of the major Patriot goals is just that. We intend to hold both parties up to intense scrutiny… we intend to hold people to task. We will be a much more activist American electorate and the American people will be much wiser in the future… though far poorer for the experience.
Now we have leftist politicians lining up against a State which has, by any definition, a war on its southern border. Very disappointed in a couple of Republicans too. We’ve had about all of phony Republicans that we can stomach. Jeb Bush should shut the hell up while we’re at it. He’s lost whatever favor he had garnered from me. Is he his brother in disguise? States around Arizona had better be warned. Tens of thousands of illegals will be bailing out and heading for other states… many of them criminal and dangerous.
Barack has picked another battle which will play very poorly in November. The illegal issue is as big a hot button for most Americans as the health care ripoff is. What the left simply hasn’t figured on is the increasing anger of the American people. They’ve always depended on the traditional short memory of the electorate. It hasn’t happened this time. With every new revelation baring more lies and deceit, the Democrats are facing an aroused populace and a popular grassroots Patriot movement that will not go away.
The attack on the Arizona law is Obama’s latest race bait. You can bet it won’t be his last.
The Obama administration’s assault on America is in full swing and the newest front is Arizona. Obama was quick to launch all the king’s horses and all the king’s men to lie, play the race card and organize illegals into civil disobedience. If anybody had any remaining doubts about Barry Hussein’s intentions regarding Arizona and his proposed illegal alien amnesty, that should have answered it for you.

No President, not even the unlamented Jimmy Carter, has garnered the ire of this country’s citizenry more than Barack Hussein Obama has in only two short years. Why would any President set himself directly in opposition to the expressed will of the electorate? He repeatedly tells all and sundry how lucky we are that he was here to save our economy with his rapier wit and teleprompter technique, and how we should be thankful for his mismanagement of our economy and his bi-polar foreign policy.
President Obama sees only what his ideology permits and it’s a pretty narrow bandwidth. He’s not now, nor has he ever been, in sync with this country and most especially its people. It’s almost as though as a kid he was raised in the dark side. Kicked from pillar to post and given instruction in leftist dogma, first from a mother who was in and out of his life and later, when living with his grandmother, a committed communist and influential member of the ACP (American Communist Party) through his formative teenage years. If it walks like a duck….
You know, there was plenty enough information around about Barry to pretty accurately predict how this guy was going to behave as President. I started reading into Mr.Obama when he was still a back bencher on the Illinois State legislature. Once he made his move to the US Senate I started warning some of my friends, “Watch out for this guy”. The rest is history, but it didn’t take the people very long to figure out they had been had.
When President Obama is out demonizing the Tea Party Patriots he just doesn’t get it. The left has immediately done the same thing as with every issue since VietNam and is attempting to use this as leverage for a race issue. It’s page one in their book. Speaking of your book… we read it.
The difference has been the nationwide, virtually spontaneous emergence of the grassroots patriot groups. Just us folks out here in the sticks, we’re at the point where we’re influential enough to start swinging opinions… and votes. Obama’s rantings are not likely to attract much much attention except for the pinheads he already has. This is another fight we have to win.
Arizona deserves all the help we can give, since it appears that it is ground zero in the battle against illegal aliens and those who foster them. The patriot groups will be monitoring Arizona closely. Stand strong Arizona!
The entire mechanism of the left has just lit up like an Independence Day light show. Arizona has just re-erected the states’ rights issue… quite appropriate actually, given that the country is undergoing what may be described as a low-level, bloodless civil war.
The left is foaming at the mouth over Arizona’s heroic decision to stand and be counted. Every single illegal alien supporter, from Barack Hussein Obama right down to the lowest street apparatchik in MEChA, is buzzing like a stick-stirred nest of hornets.
Obama babbled some inanity about the action being inappropriate. You bet Barry, right on, you betcha’.
Inappropriate, or rather inopportune, timing for Barry who had to have his bank bill scam leader John ‘Swiftboat’ Kerry pull the legislation down delaying a vote. Meanwhile, the entire DeMarxist establishment is faced with moving the timing of their next amnesty attempt up, now that they are faced with an actual state in rebellion against a federal government which has steadfastly refused to perform one of its primary duties… that of securing our borders from intrusion by illegals. We (Conservatives) knew we had a fight coming on the illegal issue again, so here it is. The illegal alien amnesty must not succeed. We have to stop it here and now.
What’s scaring the DeMarxists about the Arizona law outlawing illegal aliens is that they know that no matter how much noise they and the part-time law school lecturer make about it, the law passes Constitutional muster. Other states, border states in particular, are eying the same sort of law or similar action. We have what amounts to an undeclared war on our southern border. The Government of Barack Hussein Obama has ensured that our borders would remain open and vulnerable. He has ordered four hundred ICE (Border Patrol) agents removal from service in the border corridor since 2009.
A little side note here on rights. I have rights here… I’d have none in Mexico. I have a Constitution and Bill of Rights that enumerates those rights I hold as a United States citizen. Someone crossing our borders illegally is committing a crime and is a criminal in fact. An alien has no rights under our Constitution and an illegal alien even less. Don’t let these leftist lightweights change the language… they are illegal and nothing more.
We didn’t create the problem but we do have the solutions… stand strong on this. Congratulations and super kudos to Jan Brewer, Governor of Arizona, for her signing of the bill and making it law. By the way, I think there’s a movement out there to ambush the left on some of their May Day sacrilegious celebrations. Cool idea. Patriots counter-protesting on the high holy day of international communism. I like it. Just don’t go alone… stay in groups. We all saw what the left’s heroes did to that assistant of Governor Jindal… they’re good at picking on girls and old people.
I have the distinct impression that Arizona just may be the rock which starts the avalanche. I sincerely hope it does… while we’re battling the forces of socialism that are trying to steal our country.

Confronting this evil, wherever it infests our society and our body politic, is now the prime focus of the many millions of patriots who are now actively involved in local issues and in upcoming national races. Instinctively and speedily, Patriots have understood that organizing at the grass roots has been a house to house, friend to friend and neighbor to neighbor strategy, resulting in a bottom up ‘organization’ which lends its strength and energy upwards to Conservative Patriot candidates and incumbent politicians we support.
Along with our support they also get our input… we demand it. Too long have we listened to incumbents’ electioneering spiels, telling us what upstanding moderate Republicans they were only to have them instantly revert to type and go off loose-cannoneering without regard for the wishes of the people who were keeping them in office.
The messages we have been sending over and over, stand up for our principles, stand up for the Conservative values that make this country unique and rare among nations, have taken root. There is a massive shift to the right going on in the national political mind and it’s got the DeMarxists frantic. With polls falling around the country and local and regional contests in doubt, where only a year ago they would have been called safe Democrat districts, the indications are dire. One commentator said that if Obama’s approval drops near 40%, as it could, there will be Democrats heading for the lifeboats.
It’s a classic over-reach by the liberals. They’ve done it before, also with negative results but that’s never stopped them before either. No, but what has their attention is an aroused and very conscious populace who are clearly having a profound effect on the political landscape and who are learning very quickly to control the political message.
It’s a message that is resonating across this land. Freedom is our heritage and birthright. There’s something about the American psyche that universally holds these freedoms foremost in our hearts and minds… so unlike the serf-like behavior of the Europeans. Our ancestors fought to make and keep us free.
We will fight for freedom with their memories in mind to remind ourselves that freedom is never cheap… or easy.
