Squeeze Time – Senators Need To Hear From You Now!!!

I feel like a carnival barker sometimes, or maybe one of those TV pitchmen. I dislike repetition.
Hell of an endeavor for a guy that hates saying the same thing over and over. Still, it has something to be said for those of us who aren’t real quick copies. The Marine Corps has the repetition thing down to a fine art, and they have shown some VERY remarkable results.

It’s CRUNCH TIME, people. The Senate’s Dingy Harry Reid had the Anointed One (who graciously descended from Olympus) come down and harangue the Senators about the dire necessity of taking one for the team. For that is what it shall surely be as the debate on the health care bill, more aptly described as the UNHEALTHY FOR AMERICA bill, winds toward Christmas and the coming New Year, which a number of politicians in both houses have every right to be concerned about.

Aside from the millions of letters, telephone calls, emails and direct visitation to Congress members’ offices, there’s the little matter of EIGHT OR NINE MILLION PINK SLIPS sent to members’ mailboxes by individual concerned voters, telling these linguine-spined politicians that if they vote for that bill, WHICH THE AMERICAN PEOPLE CLEARLY DO NOT WANT, we will vote them out of office. The Republican minority leadership has the Demarxists ducking, dodging and weaving behind the disclosure that the BENEFICENT Liberals have whacked another FORTY BILLION DOLLARS away from in-home care for SENIORS (“just give them pain pills”, Obama). That was something they’d just as soon American seniors weren’t made aware of. Turn up the heat! Let em’ squirm. These self same politicians are the ones who continuously vote themselves out of legislation with which they saddle the American people, though in all probability HAD NEVER TAKEN THE TROUBLE TO READ!!!
They wonder at the state of near rebellion in this country? They wonder that the popularity of the American Congress ranks right up there with trial lawyers?

There are a couple of Senators that need your gentle tutelage, especially this week or maybe this whole month.
Virginia Democrat Senators Jim Webb and Mark Warner are sending signals that they may waffle on this thing and vote for it pretending that it it would somehow benefit the American people. These politicians can rationalize their way around just about anything.
Let’s let these two guys know that we are preparing to rationalize them out of office. While you’re at it, don’t forget to let the other 98 know that we are hot on their tails too. Be they Democrat or Republican, that’s OUR house! That is OUR government and this is OUR country!!

‘Mainstream’ Propaganda Doesn’t Work Any More – Truth Reigns Supreme.

They don’t like it. They don’t really understand it either or they wouldn’t do and say the things they do. The ‘lamestream’ or ‘fringe’ media as we sometimes call them, are being increasingly marginalized by the nearly instantaneous transfer of information available to the average person at his or her computer keyboard today.

Back in the day when virtually the entire hard news output was controlled by major print media and the three large television networks, NBC, CBS and ABC, there was a virtual lock on opinions voiced outside of these increasingly politicized outlets. With a decidedly left-leaning message, Americans were hammered for decades with decidedly one-sided messages. What conservative voices there were on the right were marginalized and diminished as being eccentrics and somehow outside the norm of American politics.

The increasing preeminence of leftist thought in our journalism schools had really begun to be felt in the late 60’s and 70’s when I had returned from military service and entered college. The anti-war movement was in full bloom and the left’s grip on academia was pronounced. As a journalism student I had numerous clashes with professors or grad students objecting to the the conservative slant of many of my pieces. This didn’t do a heck of a lot for my grades in those classes, but even then I was stubbornly defending my position and pointing out the fallacy of the liberal Utopian redistribution of wealth model. As you can well imagine, I took a lot of heat for speaking my mind and standing up for conservative principles.

With the advent of conservative talk radio and the personal computer came a sea-change in the public’s access to varied points of view. The so-called ‘mainstream’ press, both print and television, had dominated the landscape for so long that they had taken a paternalistic attitude that the American people really didn’t know any better. We had to have our ‘betters’ interpret for us. Along with the information revolution came the ability of America and the world to access information from thousands of sources instantaneously.

America had not been sufficiently dumbed down despite the left’s best efforts. We began to see the fallacy and the inaccuracies in what the left was saying. We saw lies and stories created out of whole cloth to support their socialist aims. Furthermore, we clearly saw the symbiosis between the leftist press and their political allies in the Democrat party and in the entrenched Washington bureaucracies. We began to talk to each other and exchange ideas. Not necessarily the ideas of our own party leadership either, for we had found them wanting. We came together through our new-found information freedom fountain as never before. The Conservative revolution was born. The country awoke and its people felt the resurgence of hope that was birthed with the adoption of the greatest document in history, the United States Constitution, on March 4, 1789.

We now re-dedicate ourselves to the ideals of the Constitution and the principles of truth, freedom and individual responsibility that has made America the greatest country in history.

SEIU’s Andy Stern – Obama Care May Fail.

What does Andy know? Stalled progress on the health care bill in the Senate could doom Democrats in 2010 and prove to be President Barack Obama’s “Waterloo”, Andy Stern, National President of SEIU, the nation’s largest service union and one of the Obama administration’s key supporters, predicted on Friday.

Since Stern is one the White House’s most frequent visitors it begs the question, could Andy be aware of vibes coming from the administration? There are some serious issues in the Senate that SEIU types are particularly sensitive to. Issues such as the public option, which promises to be one of the watershed items that breaks DeMarxist unanimity. The so-called public option has polarized the Senate. It is a ‘must have’ for the hard left of the DeMarxists, but stiffly resisted by the GOP and ‘moderate’ Democrats and strongly opposed by the public in general.

The $460 billion rip-off of seniors’ Medicare funding is not going to gain the Democrats any support there either. This could become a huge issue come election time because the seniors, unlike the Obamabot youth, do vote and they vote in large numbers. AARP has probably just resigned itself to a footnote in American seniors history for the really self-serving sell-out to the administration, for dubiously positive short-range gains and a friendly ‘ear’ in the Obama White House.

Democratic Senators Ben Nelson and Bob Casey are among the strong pro-life members who will not vote for a bill without strong anti-abortion language in it. Add Senator Lieberman to that column as well. Passage is by no means a done deal and many Democrats are beginning to become really nervous given the lack of leadership from the White House. The painfully inept foreign policy, the flat-lined economy where it’s called a ‘triumph of job growth’, when there are only a hundred thousand or so new jobless claims and tens of thousands who have given up looking for work altogether.

The Patriot grass roots organizing continues and there are some large meetings scheduled around the nation soon. The Tea Baggers continue to hold increasing numbers of local meetings around the country also. Given the steadily declining poll numbers in all categories the DeMarxists are doing some serious over-the-shoulder scrutiny.

It won’t be the ravening hordes of the Huns, the Goths or the Visigoths that they’ll be fearing. It will be the American citizen with the Constitution in one hand and a ballot in the other.

Of Thee We Speak, Perfidia – Obama, Reid, AARP – Seniors Betrayed.

Nothing new here. Just concrete evidence of the DeMarxists stated intention to destroy health care for senior citizens, minority African-American and Hispanic seniors in particular. FOUR HUNDRED AND SIXTY BILLION DOLLARS in Medicare cuts, just for starters. These cuts will be used to fund other programs, including medical coverage for illegal aliens and funding for abortions among others.

The Demarxitons, in lockstep, voted 58-42 to strip the funds from Medicare in order to cover some THIRTY ONE MILLION ‘uninsured Americans’, of whom up to TWENTY MILLION may be illegal aliens.

As far as the doubly treacherous AARP is concerned, Senator John McCain stated it best when he said Thursday, “Take your AARP card, cut it in half and send it back”. “They’ve betrayed you”. Seniors have every right to be ready to fire up the tar kettles right now. Politically, this could prove disastrous for Democrats, as they desperately try to gain passage of the Senate version of the bill before the end of the year and the advent of next year’s midterm elections. The duplicitous AARP has given the DeMarxists the political cover they think they need, while claiming to speak for the majority of seniors which they DO NOT.

Republicans charged that Medicare is already in trouble. It needs to be fixed, not raided to create another new program. The Medicare vote went to the heart of seniors’ concerns that cuts from the program used to finance coverage for the uninsured will undermine the quality of their care. They are right on both counts despite the DeMarxists’ canned, thin and very unconvincing protestations to the contrary.

So what can you do? What can our seniors do? First, contact your local Patriot groups and find out what you can do in your neighborhood, region or state. Contact your local Republican district offices and do the same thing.
We have to act locally…speaking for my own state of California, when you have politicians who are more concerned with some mythical sea level rise, such as our Governor, rather than the
12.6% unemployment rate and lack of jobs caused by his fiscal irresponsibility, the crushing taxes and overbearing regulation that are causing jobs to exit our state wholesale…yes!…we need to start locally!
Add to that the continuing pressure we have to keep up on Congress, in particular the members of the Senate with emphasis on those facing election this coming year.

Dick Morris has stated that he believes we can win back both the House and the Senate next year. From his lips to God’s ears. God may need a little help folks…lets get busy!!

Nowhere Man In His Nowhere Suit Fails To Impress Cadets.

His Emptiness scarcely had time to finish his last yawn line to his captive audience at West Point Military Academy, before Donald Rumsfeld ripped his sheets and all but called the Liar-in-Chief just that in front of a national audience at the Center for Security Policy dinner in Washington DC last night.

Obama gave his ‘WE GIVE UP IN EIGHTEEN MONTHS’ speech in front of a decidedly underwhelmed audience of West Point cadets last night and did everything but give the enemy citizenship and welfare benefits, along with a withdrawal timetable for Afghanistan. Mr ‘Brilliance’ fell all over himself trying to let his muslim brothers know how much he cared and the rest of us how highly we should regard the great and peaceful religion of Islam. More Osama…I mean Obama in Fantasyland. Not only did his left wing Marxikooks not believe him, but he didn’t fool anyone else either. The polish has really come off of this guy’s chrome.

Delaying action on the requests for troops from his commanding officers in Afghanistan, something he has KNOWN was going to be needed since last FEBRUARY yet delaying for months making excuse after excuse, has placed more pressure on the troops in-country, putting them increasingly at risk and causing further deterioration in the tactical situation. His HIP-SLICK-and-COOLNESS lied through his eyeteeth by claiming that the Bush administration had repeatedly denied requests for troops in Afghanistan. Dick Rumsfeld, who has rarely spoken out since leaving the Defense Department, retorted in a blunt statement saying, “Such a bald misstatement, at least as it pertains to the period I served as Secretary of Defense, deserves a response. I am not aware of a single request of that nature between 2001 and 2006″.

Poor Obama can’t seem to get it right. His lies just don’t work very well any more. More and more often, statements that would have gotten by with the lame and increasingly fringe press are getting ripped, practically before they are past the anointed lips.
That’s what happens with pathological liars though…at some point they lose touch with reality and everything is a lie.

Cato Institute: Actual Cost Of Health Care Bill 6 Trillion Plus And Climbing.

Everybody has heard stories of companies and bookkeepers with two sets of books. Our Congress has put totally new meaning to the words prevarication and fraud. The House and Senate, controlled by hardcore leftist ideologues, have lost all connection with the American people.

We keep telling them WE DON’T WANT THIS..the polls keep telling them. Our visits to their offices keep telling them. Our emails, letters and phone calls keep telling them. And so far, with the exception of a few Democrats and all but one Republican, they have not listened. Or they pretend to listen, babble some garbage about Americans “WANTING” health care, and go right on with stealing our freedoms, enslaving our children and condemning us all to horribly substandard care such as KILLS THOUSANDS of people every year in the UK and Canada.
What we don’t WANT is THEIR health care. We don’t want their socialist mandated tyranny. It’s that simple.

When time allows I listen to Mark Levin in the afternoons here. Mark is a constitutional scholar and an unabashed Patriot. If you don’t have his book, “LIBERTY and TYRANNY”, get it. It is simply THE blueprint for the Conservative revolution. Once again, no, I’m not being paid for the endorsement.
I learn by hanging around with, and listening to, people who know more than I do. Mark was referring to a CATO Institute report by Senior Fellow Michael D. Tanner on the true cost of the health care fiasco in the Senate now. It’s IMMENSE!! You can link to it on Mark’s web site or Google it. But long story short, they’re not just cooking the books in Washville…they are cooking, baking and barbecuing them.

We are TWELVE TRILLION Dollars in the hole right now..and the debt goes up by FOUR BILLION dollars every day! To this staggering debt, the DeMarxists want us to think the proposed Unhealthy for America bill will ‘ONLY’ cost 849 BILLION dollars. The Heritage Foundation figured it at TWO POINT FOUR PLUS TRILLION DOLLARS. Now the CATO Institute’s studies, investigating much farther into the smoke and mirrors and creative bookkeeping practices employed by Congress and their cabal of criminal cronies, puts the tab at much closer to SIX POINT FIVE TRILLION DOLLARS!!

Meanwhile, the Obama administration and the Congress continue to spend like alcoholics on a binge.
Any Republican who says he wants to reach ‘accommodation’ on this bill or ‘FIX’ it, or any part of it, should be run out of office. And we need to tell them just that.
It’s time to take off the gloves and go bare knuckles on this Congress and this Administration.

Once Upon A Time – Another Visit To Fantasyland.

This is one of the days that my editor hates…she likes themes that match titles and have a modicum of logic to them. Shame on her…there’s so much going on right now that my brain gets the whizzies just trying to keep up.

There’s Carol Browner, re-affirming her absolute and slavish faith in the unassailable dogma of the Church of East Anglia. Pass that kool-aid, and don’t let little things like the discovery of the greatest scientific fraud conspiracy, for CONSPIRACY it is, in recorded history bother you. A bunch of elitist, ideologically-driven, leftist scientists with control over data and utilizing a completely incestuous peer review system, to ensure that outside commentary critical of their ‘genie in the bottle’ science was never exposed. All the while, conspiring with equally rabidly left-leaning, ideologically-driven scientists on this side of the pond to help legitimize and disseminate the same junk science. With their willing but not-so-bright accomplices, such as Al Gore and the equally fraudulent United Nations phony carbon trading schemes, power, control and riches were within their grasp. Until a funny thing happened on the way to the forum…the world woke up.

Meanwhile in our nation’s capitol, the usual White House rats are trying to foist off a major breach of security protocol on the Secret Service. The amateur Clown College is in full panic mode trying to cover up.
At the same time the Chief of the Clown College has made a momentous decision which ONLY took about 14 weeks, one that any twelve year old could and would have made in fifteen minutes. That of sending the troops our military commanders had requested, to reinforce the men already in-country in Afghanistan, to accomplish the mission HE sent them over there to do. NOBODY in the military wants to serve under a gutless wonder and that’s what Obama is. Except leave out the ‘wonder’, he’s just gutless.

Now the Senate under the inimitable Dingy Harry Reid has been 'put on notice' that Harry will be working weekends to get the most massive rip-off in American history passed. Uh Harry, the Senate only has 14 working days until Christmas. It's extremely doubtful that the increasingly unpopular Reid can pull it off as Senators on both sides of the aisle begin to think of the rapidly approaching New Year, heralding mid-term elections in front of REALLY angry constituents and a nationwide electorate practically in a state of revolt.

With an economy flat-lined and unemployment affecting 1 out of 5 Americans, no one is willing to give Reid, Pelosi and Obama control over 1/6 of the American economy given their proven inability to manage even the simplest aspects of running this country.
Don’t forget! CALL, EMAIL and WRITE to your Senators and every single one on the Senate list (just google it). Let them know they won’t be re-elected if they vote for this bill. Be CIVIL. Once again,
it’s OK to be angry because we are! It’s OK to be forceful but leave out the four letter words. Those are the domain of the other side. Get ACTIVE! STAY ACTIVE! STAY INVOLVED!
